I am trying to figure out if it is me or do other people have their homescreen crash when returnig back to it from about anything? By crashing I mean that you return from the camera, online, text message, or whatever and your homescreen has to rebuild itself. Mine is doing it more than its not and was wondering if its an app i have installed or do others crash too?

Every time I try to go on safari or some kind of app, my iPhone freezes and then crashes to the home screen. I can't screenshot or take pictures or download more apps. I also send messages to people, but they never get them, and I don't receive messages either. I know my phone is overcapacity because I have so many pictures, so I tried to back it up to icloud but it won't even let me do that because it keeps crashing. I tried to delete my pictures but it wouldn't let me do that either because it just freezes and crashes to the homescreen again. I also could not update to ios 7 because I don't have enough space. What do I do? Do I back it up to my computer on iTunes?

But after screen shuts off for about a minute turn phone back on and is at blue screen. like screen behind making a call. return button does not clear it but home button does until phone screen times out then it does same thing again. Have to turn phone off and back on to get back to home screen working normal Using Go Launcher-Ex .Uninstalled and went back to stock launcher Still doing same thing.
View 2 Replies View Relatedfor a lighter topic i thought i would share how i setup my homescreen. i dont like to scroll around screens looking for stuff or open the app drawer looking for it either.ne of my favorite apps is Folder Organizer and i make good use of it on all my Android devices. i also realize that the D3 has a similar built in function for folders but it is not nearly as feature rich as what i use so i prefer my 3rd party app for this.Here are a few screen shots:i have blanked out some pics and personal info)hen i choose any of the icons not on my dock i get all the apps i setup to be associated with that folder. here is my tools folder open. if you have more apps than can fit on the screen its ok the folder will scroll to show you all the apps:
here is a shoot of my screen where i labeled my icons so you can see where i am putting my stuff but of course this is just to show you and my screen does not have these labels. i dont like labels on anything since i know what they are:i use folder organizer to make new custom direct links for the camera and camcorder since i like those icons better and i dont want them labeled. you can use icons from any icon set that you have which is nice or folder organizer comes with a lot itself.this is not an ad for folder organizer it is just what i use and i thought i would share my setup.
i have disabled Internet, play books, and play movies several times and they always come back after a reboot. how do i stop this from happening? i am sick of bloat i do not want! is verizon, or google, or whoever even listening to us?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just noticed this happen while I was trying to swipe the homescreen lock while the phone was in the middle of rotating from portrait to landscape, but my background reset itself to the default background while I was trying to do this. This only seems to be an issue for the "non blur" launcher. I have never encountered this using a third party launcher.
View 15 Replies View RelatedNew issue I've never seen before, on my girlfriends d3 the homescreen refuses to rotate. I toggled the auto rotate setting, rebooted the phone, no change. Just for giggles I installed go launcher, and now the homescreen rotates properly.

An error message popped up saying The application Home-screen (process com.Motorola.home) has stopped unexpectedly. try again. and then the Homescreen reboots and everything works except in the All Apps.

I can add toggle widgets from the Android Market. I can't re-add the Motorola widgets, but also, the space where they should be is not available to add another widget either. i.e. I've now got a dead/unusable space on my home screen.

And every time I try to send a message, it keeps saying "Unfortunately, messaging has stopped," and takes me back to the messaging screen where I can see all the messages I have. The text I tried to send then says its still sending and I have to try two or three times before it will work. I deleted nearly all of my apps, turned my phone off and on again, and deleted nearly all of my messages. It just now started doing this and is beyond frustrating. I do not know what to do. The phone app would hang and force a close or indicate the camera App had failed to initialize. View 12 Replies View RelatedIt's a Droid 2 Global, running Android 2.2, System version is 2.4.330.A956.Verizon.en.US. This is my second device, same problem. When using GPS for anything (and I mean anything) it throws errors into logcat, showing specifically:
DATE TIME [ERROR] AKMD2(1167) x = x-axis y = y-axis z = z-axis
I can attest that this does not happen on the Droid X, which is virtually the same hardware/software. Hard reset, wiping the phone, factory reset, et al, all of those are not the solution. AKMD2 is part of the Droid 2 Global operating system. It's how this device's version of Android communicates with the GPS/compass hardware, a "driver" if you will. Every D2G has AKMD2, and this is my 2nd one showing an error.
Okay so I have until the 24th to return my new phone. And I'm wondering if I do decide to return it and go back to my 3GS, will I get my upgrade back? Because ideally I would like to get the white one when they finally release it. Does anyone know if this is possible?!

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm going to buy S6 but I would only go for the unlocked/non-carrier version so I'm still waiting. During the time, I try S6/edge several times at Bestbuy and did find something very strange when I swipe the screen left or right. I didn't realize it's the problem(actually I was thinking my finger was too dry) until I tried the S5 right next to it and didn't find anything wrong.
It happens when you swipe left back to Homescreen from magazine app(Flipboard integrated). It's playing animation and don't let you do anything during this animation. So basically if you swipe left twice quickly, it is supposed to go to the second screen on the right but it didn't. That works fine on S5 but not on S6. On S6 the second swipe(or any extra swipe after that but before the animation is over) didn't work and didn't react to your finger until the animation is played completely. I am not sure if it's the problem of display phones or a general problem.
However, after numerous nag popups, I relented, and allowed the OTA update to ICS.As far as I can tell, the update went well.However, now every time I (re-)boot, and occasionally at other times, I get this error popup:Unfortunately, Homescreen has stoppedK]I click on theI deleted all my widgets. Re-booted.rror. Recreated all my widgets, now using the updated built-in ICS ones instead of the GB ones. Re-bootedWent into Manage Apps, to Homescreen, and did a CLEAR DATA. I can't access my setting menu, press the left "button" and the settings option is there I press it and the menu pops up for about a second then goes back to the home screen, if I go in through apps menu its the same, its a stock S2 about a month old on T mobile uk.
