Nov 23, 2015Okay, so I have a Droid Turbo, the ballistic nylon kind. And every time I try to send a message, it keeps saying "Unfortunately, messaging has stopped," and takes me back to the messaging screen where I can see all the messages I have. The text I tried to send then says its still sending and I have to try two or three times before it will work. I deleted nearly all of my apps, turned my phone off and on again, and deleted nearly all of my messages. It just now started doing this and is beyond frustrating. I do not know what to do. I couldn't find any other people with this same problem. What do I do?

Aug 3, 2011I down loaded an app that required a barcode scanner. After installing the app. I noticed that when I clicked on the Camera Widget. The phone app would hang and force a close or indicate the camera App had failed to initialize. After some trouble shooting and back off the 2 apps I loaded I am still having intermitted issue with the camera app hanging or not initializing. how to reinitalize / reinstall the camera app without wiping out the phone and starting over?

May 23, 2011It's a Droid 2 Global, running Android 2.2, System version is 2.4.330.A956.Verizon.en.US. This is my second device, same problem. When using GPS for anything (and I mean anything) it throws errors into logcat, showing specifically:
DATE TIME [ERROR] AKMD2(1167) x = x-axis y = y-axis z = z-axis
I can attest that this does not happen on the Droid X, which is virtually the same hardware/software. Hard reset, wiping the phone, factory reset, et al, all of those are not the solution. AKMD2 is part of the Droid 2 Global operating system. It's how this device's version of Android communicates with the GPS/compass hardware, a "driver" if you will. Every D2G has AKMD2, and this is my 2nd one showing an error.
Motorola Electrify :: Searches / Connects Then Immediately Disconnects From Home WiFi
Feb 5, 2012My daughter (who lives in another town) and I just switched from Samsung Mesmerize to Electrify phones. We both have D-Link DIR-655 routers in our homes. Although we had no problem using wifi with our old phones, the Electrify searches, connects and then immediately disconnects. I've spent hours checking out the router software as the admin, checking on line to see if others have reported this and I've tried every combination of options on the Electrify. We're both running Win7 and both use our routers successfully on other wireless devices in our homes.

2. Often when I try and dial people it doesnt activate a call and will just stay on the same screen. Following this it will either then dial about 10 seconds later after I've given up, or just crash.
3. It now has a tendency of just turning itself off during calls.
4. It often is unresponsive when I reply to texts. I'll use the keypad to text words, and it will be registering the keystrokes as it will be giving me predictive text suggestions, but not actually recording the words.

Jun 3, 2011I switched from an iPhone to this Motorola Defy one week ago, I purchased a 16 gig memory card to match the memory of the iPhone, and loaded about 10 gigs of music onto it. This froze my phone upon reading the card. I downgraded to an 8 gig card and loaded around 4 gigs of music, which also froze the phone. This time, however I was able to start playing the music before eventually freezing. I deleted all except 1.5 gigs of the music and now it works fine; however this is a waste of my money purchasing a large memory card; or even switching from the iPhone in the first place.

Mar 26, 2012I think I will need to bring this to an Apple store for investigations, but would anyone have any hints to what might be causing this issue? For about two days, when I shut down the phone, it immediately starts itself up. Ironically when its plugged into my MBP using the USB cable and I shut it down then, it will remain powered off. The minute I remove the USB cable phone starts up. I performed a full restore, including DFU mode and nothing. Secondly, the battery is draining at an incredible pace. i.e I charge it at night to 100%, than by morning (7 to 8 hours later), its at 70%. I have maybe 3 or 4 notifications running with Bluetooth off. I can't imagine this being a sudden issue especially where in the past the phone can be in standby for days.
To put it shortly, is it a deffective connector or battery? Either way I am in Warranty mode till Oct 2012, so hopefully can get a replacement if faulty hardware.

May 8, 2012Well, the title explains the situation best. Many people have encountered this same problem and most of them had the problem solved with a few exceptions. I guess I fall in the exceptions category.
I bought a C5-03 last month. I am planning to visit the UK and my flight is tomorrow. So I downloaded the map the whole UK with voice files for female voice and with street names, just a few days ago. I didn't install any app since then and didn't even connect to the internet with the phone. I used the system for few hours in total and got acquainted. Last night, when I entered Ovi Maps, it just closed after 3~5 seconds, without giving any chance to select any menu or option.
I browsed for solutions on the net but none of them worked. So far I have tried formatting the memory card, restoring factory settings, reinstalling phone software through Nokia suite 3.4 but none of them seems to work. Someone claimed the problem to be solved through reinstalling the OVI Maps software, but I couldn't even find any entry for Ovi Maps on my phone, neither on applications manager nor with other uninstallers.

Galaxy S6 :: Onedrive Starts Downloading Immediately
Jul 17, 2015I started using Onedrive and enabled automatic upload with wifi. I noticed when taking pictures and connected to wifi that Onedrive starts downloading almost immediately. Is there anyway to have the Onedrive App download at specific times (or even have any options) or should I look at a different App on the market that might handle uploads more to my preferences? I don't need my phone hanging on uploads as I'm trying to take pictures.
I guess the other option is to take it off automatic and just remember to do it myself every now and then.
