I have a strange problem with my Xperia X10....the call is getting disconnected immediately as soon as I dial the number.Also checked if its is an issue with the sim card but its giving problems to other sim cards also.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am using my Samsung Galaxy S5 (Verizon) for my work and I recently noticed a flaw in the phone. Here is the scenario:
1) Dial a phone number and begin your call # 1.
2) While keeping the call # 1 active, ask someone to give you a call.
3) Accept the incoming call # 2, and speak for a few seconds.
4) Disconnect or 'End' the call # 2.
5) This will also end the call # 1 and you have lost both calls.
Here is another scenario:
1) Dial a phone number and begin your call # 1.
2) While keeping the call # 1 active, ask someone to give you a call.
3) Accept the incoming call # 2, and speak for a few seconds.
4) SWAP the calls from #2 to #1
5) End the call #1.
6) This will also end the call # 2 and you have lost both calls.
BOTTOM LINE: Disconnecting any one call during call waiting will automatically disconnect the other call as well.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI read that to properly disconnect the X10 USB connection in Windows, you first need to click the 'safely remove device' menu entry in Windows, and then tap the 'Turn off USB storage' option in the phone. Now I've already done this in Windows 7, but I use Linux Ubuntu 11.04 as my primary OS, and in there as soon as I click the 'safely remove device' option, the phone icon in PC disappears (as it happens when I safely remove other devices), as does the 'Turn off USB storage' option in the phone. Is this also a safe way to disconnect the USB connection for X10, or might I corrupt something in the phone by doing so?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have Volvo V40 and when I step in my car with my bluetooth enabled already, I see on my Z3 Bluetooth connect sand then disconnect. This repeats all the time. When I then disable bluetooth, wait a while and enable bluetooth again, the problem is gone. I don't know for sure, but what I have see on my car's phone menu, although I get these disconnects on my phone , the disconnects are not noticed by my car. But again, I didn't look into that yet.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have successfully paired my z3 to my laptop and once I connect wirelessly everything is fine and I can use my laptop to view all the files on my phone. However the connecting does not keep, especially if i try to move items from one folder to another, it simply disconnects and doesnt reconnect unless I do it manually.
This is preventing me from doing anything that MTP has to offer so it is actually a pretty useless application for me.
I have made sure my phone doesnt go idle during this time so it's not that.

I just got the Z3 and am having an issue with my contacts. When I go to select a contact to call it displays the fax number as default to call. Is there a away to change that? It does it for all contacts that have a fax number, the Phone icon shows up beside the fax number.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI think I will need to bring this to an Apple store for investigations, but would anyone have any hints to what might be causing this issue? For about two days, when I shut down the phone, it immediately starts itself up. Ironically when its plugged into my MBP using the USB cable and I shut it down then, it will remain powered off. The minute I remove the USB cable phone starts up. I performed a full restore, including DFU mode and nothing. Secondly, the battery is draining at an incredible pace. i.e I charge it at night to 100%, than by morning (7 to 8 hours later), its at 70%. I have maybe 3 or 4 notifications running with Bluetooth off. I can't imagine this being a sudden issue especially where in the past the phone can be in standby for days.
To put it shortly, is it a deffective connector or battery? Either way I am in Warranty mode till Oct 2012, so hopefully can get a replacement if faulty hardware.

View 4 Replies View RelatedWell, the title explains the situation best. Many people have encountered this same problem and most of them had the problem solved with a few exceptions. I guess I fall in the exceptions category.
I bought a C5-03 last month. I am planning to visit the UK and my flight is tomorrow. So I downloaded the map the whole UK with voice files for female voice and with street names, just a few days ago. I didn't install any app since then and didn't even connect to the internet with the phone. I used the system for few hours in total and got acquainted. Last night, when I entered Ovi Maps, it just closed after 3~5 seconds, without giving any chance to select any menu or option.
I browsed for solutions on the net but none of them worked. So far I have tried formatting the memory card, restoring factory settings, reinstalling phone software through Nokia suite 3.4 but none of them seems to work. Someone claimed the problem to be solved through reinstalling the OVI Maps software, but I couldn't even find any entry for Ovi Maps on my phone, neither on applications manager nor with other uninstallers.
I have it on 95% of the time. Set it to "immediately".
Only way I have found to make it last through the day at work.
I started using Onedrive and enabled automatic upload with wifi. I noticed when taking pictures and connected to wifi that Onedrive starts downloading almost immediately. Is there anyway to have the Onedrive App download at specific times (or even have any options) or should I look at a different App on the market that might handle uploads more to my preferences? I don't need my phone hanging on uploads as I'm trying to take pictures.
I guess the other option is to take it off automatic and just remember to do it myself every now and then.
