IPhone 5 :: IOS 6 - Keeps Crashing To Homescreen When Try To Go On Safari
Jun 22, 2014
Every time I try to go on safari or some kind of app, my iPhone freezes and then crashes to the home screen. I can't screenshot or take pictures or download more apps. I also send messages to people, but they never get them, and I don't receive messages either. I know my phone is overcapacity because I have so many pictures, so I tried to back it up to icloud but it won't even let me do that because it keeps crashing. I tried to delete my pictures but it wouldn't let me do that either because it just freezes and crashes to the homescreen again. I also could not update to ios 7 because I don't have enough space. What do I do? Do I back it up to my computer on iTunes?
I have inadvertently removed Safari from my home screen dock. I don't know... but it's gone. I use it a lot so I want it back. I can use the search function and find Safari, but cannot figure out how to put it back in the dock with email, phone, and music!
this is starting to really bug me! i open any application and no more than 5 minutes later it quits to the homescreen. why? i turn phone of and on. no luck, i reset phone from holding power and home button.
Has anyone seen this? I am fully up-to-date on all software, and Safari (iOS) crashes every time I tap the bookmarks icon. Every time. It used to work fine, and I failed to notice when it started crashing.
I am trying to figure out if it is me or do other people have their homescreen crash when returnig back to it from about anything? By crashing I mean that you return from the camera, online, text message, or whatever and your homescreen has to rebuild itself. Mine is doing it more than its not and was wondering if its an app i have installed or do others crash too?
After upgrading to v40, I've compared the new homescreen to the old homescreen and to the old homescreen with v21-31, these are my findings.
- The old homescreen on v40 does not have the email notification that Nokia introduced a short while ago and which was obviously VERY well recieved globally.
- The new homescreen on v40 has kinetic scrolling contacts which is, um, cute. It has the ability to control the music player (What I found to be very buggy, crashing it by simply pressing 'forward' when it's playing a folder with 1 song).
- The new homescreen on v40 does not have calendar and tasks, probably for the space the new music player-thing takes. This was my FAVORITE thing on the homescreen and I am sure I'm not alone.
I truly hope Nokia addresses these issues by either returning the email notifications to the old homescreen or somehow allowing to see the calendar and tasks on the new homescreen. Or both.
I have been searching for something that can give me like "LockScreen" apps information, the calender, on the home screen, so the calender occupaies the first two or three rows with the calender information and the rest is for apps.I would rather have that then the information on the lockscreen, since I really love to keep my lockscreen clean =) Dont just want the ordinary calender, just showing the days, I want to be able to read the closesd appointment
i've got a lot of pics for my homescreen on my iPhone. Unfortunately it's very annoying to change the pics every second day.
Is there a program or app or maybe a preference to allow the phone to change selected pics for the homescreen itselfs? Every hour for example - like the screen on my macbook does?!
A search through the WWW show programms with "amazing HD-Wallpapers", but i can't change the pics. And no I don't want these pics on my homescreen
I updated my instagram app and when it got done updating it no longer showed, I went to the app store and it showed the option "open" and I touched it but nothing happened. I've tried turning the restrictions on and off but nothing happens.
I jailbroke my phone using jailbreakme.com. Come to find out you are unable to change the homescreen wallpaper. Between this forum and a website I found I was able to do a work around. But the website I found had told me to add a source which I did. Now when I go into Cydia it gives me an error saying something about along the lines of it is unable to fetch it. So assuming it is unable to fetch it I guess it's doing no good to have the source but when I go to manage and sources it is not listed. How can I get rid of this error?
The other day I reset my homescreen. Now a lot of my app icons are missing. When I look for them in the search function the come up and I can access them that way but I can't figure out how to get the actual icon back! They are definitely not hidden in any folders.
i want to download an app from the internet not from the app store and not from cydia.can i download an app from the internet through the iphone or through macbook and transfer it to iphone.my iphone is jailbroken
When i first got my iphone4s, i frequently visited a website called mastertoons.com to watch my favorite show (adventure time). After the new update, the screen that displays the video on the webpage does not show up, is there anything i can do to fix this? I have to be able to waych my show man..
No matter what website I go to with Safari, the button to 'upload' is always greyed out/unavailable for the last couple of days. What setting is affected to do this?
For the past 2 days, Safari has been 'timed out' and wont load pages like weather.com or mlb.comI took it to an ATT store and they said it's my case which I bought at best Buy almost 2 years ago for my I-P 4. I thought the 'antennae issues' were fixed a year ago. why Safari wont load websites? It works ok on wi-fi
Purchased an iPhone 5s yesterday at Best Buy to replace my iPhone 4s and extending my Sprint contract. Realized last night that I don't have Safari on this phone.
I just got my new iPhone 6 and can't open safari. Every time it tries to open from either the app icon or within another app it crashes. It is a blank website in safari and then closes itself 5-10 sec later. I have cleared safari data history and downloaded chrome, but all of the apps default into chrome for links.
