I jailbroke my phone using jailbreakme.com. Come to find out you are unable to change the homescreen wallpaper. Between this forum and a website I found I was able to do a work around. But the website I found had told me to add a source which I did. Now when I go into Cydia it gives me an error saying something about along the lines of it is unable to fetch it. So assuming it is unable to fetch it I guess it's doing no good to have the source but when I go to manage and sources it is not listed. How can I get rid of this error?
The touchpad had broken so I sent the phone to repair. They also did a software upload . Now I can't change the background: there is a red screen with a white write that says: "lite version: 3 days remaining. Battery level xx%". When I set a photo as wallpaper after 2 minuts returns that screen.
After updating my Galaxy S6 (SM-G920F) to 5.1.1, the homescreen wallpaper always resets to the stock Samsung WP every after reboot. I use themes downloaded from the Theme Store. Everything else remains applied (lockscreen WP, icons, etc.)
one of the first things I did when I was setting up my new Nokia X6 was to delete all the factory images. One of which I think was being used as the Homescreen Wallpaper. I was playing last night and tried a Photo as Wallpaper but the fit is Stretched to whole screen and I can't see how to change it. I was wondering if anyone knew how to get the Default back on or even where I could download the default from on the web.
may i know how to change the lock screen wallpaper without changing the main screen wallpaper?and without using 3rd party app.if must using 3rd party apps to do it, which apps is suitable for changing lock screen wallpaper beside GO locker?
i've got a lot of pics for my homescreen on my iPhone. Unfortunately it's very annoying to change the pics every second day.
Is there a program or app or maybe a preference to allow the phone to change selected pics for the homescreen itselfs? Every hour for example - like the screen on my macbook does?!
A search through the WWW show programms with "amazing HD-Wallpapers", but i can't change the pics. And no I don't want these pics on my homescreen
So I've had this phone for about 4 days and no matter what I do I can't stop it from changing my wallpaper automatically. I've checked every option. I thought was because I had installed nova launcher so I switched it back t normal for awhile....but no change. How to stop this...
I was able to download the Captain America Theme, after the theme store being down, but I want to change the lock screen wallpaper only, but every time I change the wallpaper it only affects the home screen.
I have a Galaxy S5 and I have tried changing the lock screen wallpaper using the common method described (ie. tapping on a spot on homescreen and clicking set wallpaper for). The problem is, when I do that, it does not give me the option of homescreen/lockscreen, but says "select wallpaper from" (options: gallary, live wallpapers, wallpapers). When I choose from pics in my gallary, it automatically sets it as homescreen wallpaper (no option for lockscreen).
The only time it works for the lockscreen is when it's in the "wallpaper" folder (the one with preset Samsung wallpapers). I've tried looking for this folder to add pictures to it, but I can't seem to locate the folder. So, where this folder is located or better yet, know of another way in which to set the wallpaper for the lockscreen from the gallery or other folders?
I switched on my phone and found that the wallpaper and icon positions had changed since I had switched it off overnight. No one had access to my phone. It was very annoying - How did this happen?
I've noticed since the GDR3 update that i'm no longer able to update my lockscreen wallpaper photo. If I select Twitter, Facebook or Bing as the lock screen it changes over fine, but in Photo it always defaults that the Yellow Car photo no matter what photo I choose.
I have just started to see this problem, it has worked ok since I had the phone. Basically I am unable to add any shortcut to the Orange homescreen, I understand you can only have 4 and have removed all existing shortcuts to make sure, I can drag applications onto the homescreen but when i tap on the 'add shortcut' icon nothing happens, I have tried a soft reset & this did not work either, I am reluctant to do a hard reset because I don't want to have to re-install/configure everything again.

I have a storm 2 9520. After charging my phone up today I have noticed an error, a very annoying error infact! I have done several battery pulls but I am unable to see my homescreen. Nothing I do loads up my homescreen. If I was to navigate I need to hold down the BB key or press the green button to make a call. Also I can not bring up any icons at all.
After upgrading to v40, I've compared the new homescreen to the old homescreen and to the old homescreen with v21-31, these are my findings.
- The old homescreen on v40 does not have the email notification that Nokia introduced a short while ago and which was obviously VERY well recieved globally.
- The new homescreen on v40 has kinetic scrolling contacts which is, um, cute. It has the ability to control the music player (What I found to be very buggy, crashing it by simply pressing 'forward' when it's playing a folder with 1 song).
- The new homescreen on v40 does not have calendar and tasks, probably for the space the new music player-thing takes. This was my FAVORITE thing on the homescreen and I am sure I'm not alone.
I truly hope Nokia addresses these issues by either returning the email notifications to the old homescreen or somehow allowing to see the calendar and tasks on the new homescreen. Or both.
should do have a permanent wallpaper on my screen except the one that came with the phone, everytime i set a wallpaper of my choice and after some applications and downloads it reverts back to the wallpaper that came with the handset, i have already tried so many times without real success
I have changed my apple id and now I cant change it on my iphone so everytime I go to update my apps I cant and i cant purchase anything from the apps store
