Okay so I have until the 24th to return my new phone. And I'm wondering if I do decide to return it and go back to my 3GS, will I get my upgrade back? Because ideally I would like to get the white one when they finally release it. Does anyone know if this is possible?!

I am pre-ordering for home delivery and am thinking to get 2 white iPhone 4's. My girlfriend definitely wants white and I am leaning towards white. If I dont like it can I return it to get black for free or for any cost?

How can I ensure they are deleted permanently? Do I need to sync to Itunes, or will that bring them back again (I have gone through and deleted yet again from my iphone but dont want them to come back) I don't want them to transfer onto my ipad so I haven't linked my ipad and iphone yet.

I am trying to figure out if it is me or do other people have their homescreen crash when returnig back to it from about anything? By crashing I mean that you return from the camera, online, text message, or whatever and your homescreen has to rebuild itself. Mine is doing it more than its not and was wondering if its an app i have installed or do others crash too?

I have just upgraded the firmware and have lost everything that was on my phone. I have tried to restore from back up but keeps coming up with "itunes could not restore the iphone "#######" because the back up session failed.
The back up was done just couple minutes before i upgraded and i have also tried previous back ups but none of them work.
Is there going to be a way to get the back up working?
Is there any one else with similiar troubles?

I shipped my IP4 back to apple.com (unopened...wife wants to wait for white) for a refund. Knuckleheads at AT&T can't give me a straight answer on how to revert her status to upgrade eligible.Anyone already go through this and can share their experience?

I have upgraded the software - having backed up my phone using the backup and restore facility. The old backup software was removed so i downloaded a new one from sony website. However this downloads but will not install - says 'Application not installed' with a tick by it ! and so I can;t restore my phone information.

I am wondering about my upcoming ATT Premier order for an iphone. I plan on ordering it on a new line, then going to ATT and switching sims to my primary line. Now I wonder if when I go into an Apple store in case my phone has any issues, will it matter what line its on or where I bought it from? I have been using iPhoto in order to have different photo albums on my iPhone. Well, now iOS has the option to create new albums within the Photos app. So I am hoping to be able to use this route instead of going through iPhoto since it takes a lot longer.. However, when I created the albums in iPhoto, I chose the option to delete the photos from the iPhone and just keep them in an iPhoto album and sync them that way. How do I get these deleted photos, which are still in iPhoto, back into my Camera Roll on my iPhone so I can recatagorize them again with the Photos app?

Ok heres my problem. About 2 weeks ago i went to the Apple store because i got an iPhone 4 with probably the worst proximity sensor on the planet. Literally i hold it up to my face and dont move a muscle and the screen flashes on and off. Its literally caused me to add calls at 3 a.m and hang up on 50% of my calls. So i asked if i could swap it out and the guy working said i should wait for the software update and getting a new phone would still have the same problem. So the problem is now my 30 days is up, and what if the update doesnt fix it? Do you think theyll still let me return it? ATT store wouldnt let me swap out either.

View 14 Replies View RelatedI need help clarifying return procedure. It late and I can't call ATT, hoping someone in similar situation could help me. I bought the phone from ATT in-store. I had it exchange from Apple, the replacement still have the reception problem along with new problems. Can I return the phone? It have a different serial number now and I still have my genius bar replacement confirmation paper.
Also this phone was an add in line, so if I return the phone does this mean I lose the number? I would like to keep this line. Just returning the phone until everything get better then I rebuy.
Is this a bug in the OS? Is this a common issue and is Apple going to update their OS to fix this? I have tried restarting the phone and deleting the last app downloaded just in case but still automatically going to homescreen with any app. It seems to be an OS issue but not sure.
