I am pre-ordering for home delivery and am thinking to get 2 white iPhone 4's. My girlfriend definitely wants white and I am leaning towards white. If I dont like it can I return it to get black for free or for any cost?

Now that you can't order white, are you going to go black instead? I mean they both have advantages...white shows less fingerprints and appears more "clean", but black makes video look better on the screen and is more sleek, and also probably won't show as much dirt.

3 days ago i was using my phone like normal when i got a white sceen, ive tried pulling the battery but it just goes straight back to the white screen. Does anybody have any idea on how to fix this? Bear in mind i cant connect to Blackberry Software Desktop because for some reason it wont recognise my device, i want to state the phone hasnt been dropped and hasnt been near any water, it just randonly went white.

The proximity sensor on the top does annoy me a little bit, but doesn't bother me too much. I'll be pre-ordering my white 32GB iPhone 4.

View 15 Replies View RelatedI currently have a White iPhone 4S 16GB, at the time I purchased it through Verizon they had told me that I had to get the White version since the Black version was still out of stock. I figured that I can use the 14 day guarantee to my advantage so that when the Black version came back into stock I could just swap it out, well that wasn't the case at all since it didnt come back into stock in that time frame. So I'm stuck with a White iPhone at the moment when I really just want the Black iPhone. I spoke with Verizon and they informed me that there was nothing else that they could do but that it was possible to bring my iPhone into a store and see if they would be willing to exchange it for the Black iPhone. Before I went into Apple and testing this theory out, does anyone here know if this is a plausible solution or am I basically just stuck with the iPhone that I have?

I am trying to figure out if it is me or do other people have their homescreen crash when returnig back to it from about anything? By crashing I mean that you return from the camera, online, text message, or whatever and your homescreen has to rebuild itself. Mine is doing it more than its not and was wondering if its an app i have installed or do others crash too?
View 14 Replies View RelatedI'm going to apple store, brent cross this thursday, and have phoned them up regarding this and they have told me they 'do not know yet'.I was wondering though, from your point of view, how would you see this: I have reserved a 32gb black phone. I did want a black but now that I've seen the white hands-on I think I would prefer it. I won't know until I go into the shop, however, and get my hands on either.I intend to be one of the first in line. I will wake up VERY early that day and drive myself down there. I have been saving up for 2 years to buy myself this phone and I think it'd be a waste if I didn't at least put in the effort on the morning to ensure the day went well. My only problem is, there will be two lines right? One for reservations and one for unreserved. I'm wondering if I could line up in reserved and then when the store opens and we find out what phones they have (whether white or not is available) if they will let me swap my reservation OR will they send me to the back of the unreserved line? And I'm worried what people will think if I bring my girlfriend with me and strategically place her at the front of the unreserved (without pushing in front of anyone ofc) and if they told me I needed to be unreserved to get a white I just swapped places with her (she wants a black one anyway but hasn't reserved)? In the end I didn't skip any lines and it's not like you moved back any number of places, and it's not like I didn't wait for the same time as you.

I was using my iphone to watch movies and programs the other night then my screen got lines coming half way across the screen at the bottom right hand corner. After they disapeared my phone screen went black and now it has white lines going side to side covering the screen. Every now and then the date and time pops up. I can still unlock my phone and use it but i cannot see anything, i can hear my messages coming through and i can answer the phone.Â

My 20 month old son picked up my father's brand new (2 weeks old) iphone 5S, and 5 minutes later we see he has somehow turned the screen completely black and white. No color remains. It is not the grayscale or the invert color options. He had just upgraded to iOS 8.1.1. How this happened? And how to get the color back?

First off I have a Iphone 3gs that got water damage.Everything works now except the LCD screen. When the phone is on all i see is a blank white screen(no apple logo while turning it on), but i can slide to unlock the phone, play music, and hear the phone lock when the sleep button is pressed. I have replaced the LCD but am not sure that the new one was faulty or not. Also i placed the motherboard in 91% alcohol through out the night for any corrosion that i could not see. I am not sure if I should replace the LCD again or if it is connector 1 corroded or what.
