My 3g is on its last leg - I have been meaning to purchase an iPhone 4 for quite some time now but antennagate has me on the fence -if I pull the trigger now, with AT&T's 30 day return policy, could I potentially exchange this phone for a new one if the iPhone 4 is in fact refreshed.
I stress out way too much about Apple product purchases
I have three POP3 comcast accts set up, currently scheduled to refresh every 10 mins.The application is just not loading new emails; even when I try to manually refresh the refresh icon just spins ans spins with no progress- not good.

Word on the street is that there may be a refreshed Samsung Galaxy Nexus coming. I wasrReading over at Android and Me and this thread caught my attention:The rumors state that there is going to be a refreshed camera. Possibly along the way of 8.0MP. On top of that, the processors are scheduled to be refreshed using The faster SGX544 GPU is included with Texas Instruments upcoming OMAP4470 processor. This is the successor to the original OMAP4460 found in the Galaxy Nexus, that includes the older SGX540 GPU.With the Sprint version of the Galaxy Nexus coming soon we'll have to wait and see if they are in fact getting a refreshed model or the LTE based model that Verizon has currently, Either way, I hope they do launch a refresh on the HSPA+ line as well. I use the Galaxy Nexus and while I love the phone, I wish the camera was better. Faster is always better as well so I'll take the processor bump.
View 6 Replies View RelatedDue to some AT&T glitch I was one of the few that couldn't pre-order until about 5 hours ago. Now the iPhone is only shipping by July 14th. If I go ahead and order one on Apple's website for my line will I still be able to wait in line on launch day and buy a phone for that same line (with my upgrade) or will I then be forced to pay the $599/$699 price point (due to me having already ordered one on Apple's site)?
Right now I'm eligible for the $199/$299 price point.

I ordered the Defender for my Iphone 4 2 days ago and got it today - That's fast shipping (paid for 3 day shipping).I love this case, but having never owned one of these cases in the past, I was instantly overwhelmed with how to break it down to put the phone into it. The directions are pictures on the inside of the box and not very clear. This is my only complaint.I eventually figured it out and I can tell you it is the best case I have ever owned. It does add bulk, but it has a nice tactile feel to it and access to all ports. The incuded holster with belt clip is rock soild. If I knew how to upload pictures here, I would post some.

Yesterday my cell service dropped has it has been doing every once in a while lately except that this time around I had to reboot the my iphone unlocked 3gs (3.1.3) for it to come back. Today it did it again, I rebooted, the service never came back and my wifi went away.
I used to have the wifi problem before so I uninstalled blacksn0w and it came back. How ever, even after several attempts at reinstalling blacksn0w and several reboots in between, my cell service is gone for good.
Any advice? This has never happened to me before, I am ready to unjailbreak and start all over again, but I would rather not.
Also, every time I install blacksn0w now the phone says " Searching..." and my wifi stops working. It is also worth noting that I have not installed anything new at all on my phone lately.
Anyone have any wisdom for me?

I have done a restore and the messages reappear. The phone then freezes, needs to be manually restarted and has deleted the messages again. When I restore again, it goes through the same process. how to restore the phone and prevent the freezing?
