IPhone :: I Pre-order Today / Can I Still Try To Buy One On Launch?
Jun 16, 2010Due to some AT&T glitch I was one of the few that couldn't pre-order until about 5 hours ago. Now the iPhone is only shipping by July 14th. If I go ahead and order one on Apple's website for my line will I still be able to wait in line on launch day and buy a phone for that same line (with my upgrade) or will I then be forced to pay the $599/$699 price point (due to me having already ordered one on Apple's site)?
Right now I'm eligible for the $199/$299 price point.
Appreciate you taking the time to read this and thank you for any help you can provide.

Jul 22, 2010I ordered the Defender for my Iphone 4 2 days ago and got it today - That's fast shipping (paid for 3 day shipping).I love this case, but having never owned one of these cases in the past, I was instantly overwhelmed with how to break it down to put the phone into it. The directions are pictures on the inside of the box and not very clear. This is my only complaint.I eventually figured it out and I can tell you it is the best case I have ever owned. It does add bulk, but it has a nice tactile feel to it and access to all ports. The incuded holster with belt clip is rock soild. If I knew how to upload pictures here, I would post some.

Sep 6, 2010My 3g is on its last leg - I have been meaning to purchase an iPhone 4 for quite some time now but antennagate has me on the fence -if I pull the trigger now, with AT&T's 30 day return policy, could I potentially exchange this phone for a new one if the iPhone 4 is in fact refreshed.

IPhone :: Blacksnow Quit Working Today
Apr 19, 2010Yesterday my cell service dropped has it has been doing every once in a while lately except that this time around I had to reboot the my iphone unlocked 3gs (3.1.3) for it to come back. Today it did it again, I rebooted, the service never came back and my wifi went away.
I used to have the wifi problem before so I uninstalled blacksn0w and it came back. How ever, even after several attempts at reinstalling blacksn0w and several reboots in between, my cell service is gone for good.
Any advice? This has never happened to me before, I am ready to unjailbreak and start all over again, but I would rather not.
Also, every time I install blacksn0w now the phone says " Searching..." and my wifi stops working. It is also worth noting that I have not installed anything new at all on my phone lately.
Anyone have any wisdom for me?

Aug 11, 2010I got a new N97 mini yesterday to replace my N97 original. Its having way to many issues.Anyway, after updating the Ovi Maps application on the phone I tried to synch my Ovi Maps favorites as I have done many times before. The process starts, but then just stops 10% on the way giving the message "Synch was not completed". I tried with my old N97 and the same message there. Which leads me to think its the service and not my devices.I live in Norway, so maybe its a regional thing, but if you guys can just make a quick test and se if you can sync your ovi maps favorites today. Or if you get the same error message as me.

The Tour from Verizon has the same two themes that the Curve 2 has with one MAJOR difference. I can not find the "Today" option on the Tour. On the curve it is as simple as going to the layout option, but I can not find this option on the Tour. What am I missing? Is there a trick, or did they really not add a Today feature to the defaults for the Tour?

Nov 18, 2010I have a problem with the notifications that show up on the 'today view' on my bold 9780. After I have read a text message, the notification for that message often stays frozen on the 'today view', even after I delete the message to which it applies.When I click on the notification, it takes me to a blank message with the name of the person who sent me the text at the top. There is no option to delete the notification or the blank message that it takes me to!The first two times it happened, I had to turn off the phone and remove the battery each time to fix the problem. Now it has happened a third and fourth time and I don't want to have to keep removing the battery to sort it out. Each time it has been a text message notification that has frozen, I'm not sure why.
