When changing the options on your home screen I know that you can move the icons with the Zen mode. When you put the Today mode on (which I really like) is there a way to change or re-arrange those? I have looked but can not find where in the phone. I am glad there is an edit button, I forgot to add that I am using a Blackberry 8530 Curve from U.S. Cellular.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am looking for an alternative to the standard Motoblur homescreen/launcher. I have tried ADW Launcher and Launcher Pro, and am looking for some other options. I am mainly looking to add more then seven homescreens, either keep the standard motoblur look or switch to something that looks like stock Froyo/Gingerbread, have a 3D app drawrer, and keep my current homescreens (widgets, shortcuts, etc) in place, as both ADW and Launcher Pro have forced me to start from scratch. I would like something free (or at least with a free trial or free version) and I am not a root user.

Where we have the 6 set programs, the 6500 has a really handy scrollable list - there are too many useful programs for the six options to be sufficient.

View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter upgrading to v40, I've compared the new homescreen to the old homescreen and to the old homescreen with v21-31, these are my findings.
- The old homescreen on v40 does not have the email notification that Nokia introduced a short while ago and which was obviously VERY well recieved globally.
- The new homescreen on v40 has kinetic scrolling contacts which is, um, cute. It has the ability to control the music player (What I found to be very buggy, crashing it by simply pressing 'forward' when it's playing a folder with 1 song).
- The new homescreen on v40 does not have calendar and tasks, probably for the space the new music player-thing takes. This was my FAVORITE thing on the homescreen and I am sure I'm not alone.
I truly hope Nokia addresses these issues by either returning the email notifications to the old homescreen or somehow allowing to see the calendar and tasks on the new homescreen. Or both.

This started back when I upgraded BB AppworldPlease be aware,1.I have clicked the "Show all" button and it doesn't appear2. I have checked in all folders. 3. Multiple reinstalations, but no positive results 4. Several Device Reboots/Battery pulls/Factory Restarts were attempted, but no positive outcome 5. When I look under Application Management, Blackberry Appworld (3.1.4.25) IS InstalledIt seems that others are having this problem as well, but does anybody know how to fix this!

My blackberry is receiving the email of today and also the email of 2 months' ago (marked unread) . For example, it received new email of July 30 and automically load the old email of May 30 again to the blackberry. The loading of old mail happens everyday. View 12 Replies View RelatedI had to transfer my info to a new phone, now none of the calendar entries are showing on the home screen. i've got 2 new calendars that i've never seen before, device default and unknown. those are in addition to my email calendar. DD = green, my email = blue, and unknown = yellow. the original entires are all green and DO NOT show up on the homescreen. any new ones i enter are yellow and DO show on home screen. any ideas why this is happening? i have a lot of future entires that i dont want to re-enter.

I have also removed my battery while phone was on, but am still receiving message. Now when I go to Options, nowhere in there (and all files are as "show all") is there anything in regards to SMS text messages. I do have a folder named SMS but it is empty?All went squirrely after I did an update on OS 6, not an upgrade, just an update that was offered. As of now, I do not have any problems with those but I just can't find the option to set up my internet email. Whenever i go to the set up email option, it automatically shows me an enterprise email activation.
