BB Curve :: Back Up - How To View The Ipd File
Nov 22, 2011I have just backed up the data on my Curve 8520 to the PC. It has appeared as a 'Backup-(date).ipd file which is now saved on my PC. However when I try and open this file on the PC to view the addresses, pictures, notes etc that have been saved there from my mobile, Windows will not open the file as it does not have a file association for the ipd file. Seems to me that if I have backed up data from my phone to the PC, I should be able to view the data on the PC just as I do on the phone.

Mar 27, 2010I got the Curve 8530 on Verizon... I receive a text message from a person, go to the sms icon on my home screen and click on it. My bb shows the new message with the persons's name and a preview of the text. I click on it to view it but it doesnt open the conversation. Then I'll try an older conversation and it works fine. But what is strange is that it will only continue to happen to that one contact. So ill receive a new text from someone else and i can read it with no problems.

Jun 13, 2015I updated the Google Photo app last night as it has been pushing me to update and wouldn't work until I did. After the update, all of the previous photo edition options are gone (i.e. HDR, Dramatic, B&W, all of the vintage and frames, etc.) The only options available now are Auto, Light, Color, Pop and Vignette under settings and then when you pick the landscape picture icon, you have things like Mars, Phobos, Saturn, Ariel, Venus and Pluto. They just change the color of the pictures, don't add any effects.

Jun 2, 2012 backed up my photos to iCloud before exchanging for a new phone at telco centre. But when I on the new phone, I was only able to retrieve my photos up to 30 days back.the rest of it are not available in my Photo Stream. So i was thinking, ok seems like the rest of the photos are gone and there's nothng I can do.But recently, it says my iCloud is approaching its limit and when I checked, appararently there were several different back up on iCloud i have exchanged for a new phone 3 times). But the problem is, I cant retrieve any of those photos in the previous back up. N I don't think I can afford to reset the phone again as I've been using this new phone for quite some time.. So, how do i view the data that was previously backed up??

Mar 5, 2012Nokia N8 -- Belle Since updating to Belle, all my old videos I have filmed refuse to appear in teh normal Gallery. Any new videos I record go into teh Gallery as normal. Is there anyway to force teh gallery to rescan memory to fidn teh videos? It was fantastic having the videos and pictures in the same place sorted by date taken. Now it's just plain horrible. I thought about "syncing" the videos, backed up to my PC, to the phone using Nokia Suite, in the hope they would then appear in the Gallery, however it seems to insist on "transcoding" the videos! (Even though they were originally recorded on this phone!)

Jun 20, 2011New Blackberry Curve 9330 user.. all was going well until I downloaded a theme from Blackberry App World.. suddenly if I go to menu, Options.. all it opens up is the folder of themes.I finally got back to orig theme, deleted the downloaded theme, but my Options go no where now.Very afraid I've busted my new phone! Of all things to lose..OPTIONS!Any fix for this to return phone to original state or reconnect that icon to the actual Options?

Apr 20, 2011I have searched the forum in regards to the pop up saying my SIM Card is full delete messages etc., and I do know that I have gone back to Options (after reading it here) and said NO to saving messages on it. I have also removed my battery while phone was on, but am still receiving message.
