Feb 27, 2012how can i fix my blachberry 8520? after i delete a theme, it hangs and it only displays the homescreen.. the keypad and the trackpad does not function..

Nokia :: 5800 - Compared The New Homescreen To The Old Homescreen
Jan 15, 2010After upgrading to v40, I've compared the new homescreen to the old homescreen and to the old homescreen with v21-31, these are my findings.
- The old homescreen on v40 does not have the email notification that Nokia introduced a short while ago and which was obviously VERY well recieved globally.
- The new homescreen on v40 has kinetic scrolling contacts which is, um, cute. It has the ability to control the music player (What I found to be very buggy, crashing it by simply pressing 'forward' when it's playing a folder with 1 song).
- The new homescreen on v40 does not have calendar and tasks, probably for the space the new music player-thing takes. This was my FAVORITE thing on the homescreen and I am sure I'm not alone.
I truly hope Nokia addresses these issues by either returning the email notifications to the old homescreen or somehow allowing to see the calendar and tasks on the new homescreen. Or both.
BB Curve :: 8520 Screen Displays Error 552?
Jun 2, 2012i just bought a blackberry bold 9790 operating on OS 7. however, i found that rim released the OS 7.1 with so many new features; i have been trying to upgrade my OS but the software keeps saying "there are no updates for your blackberry" although blackberry's website says that any OS 7 device can upgrade to 7.1.

Feb 3, 2011I've had my 8900 for two years. I really love the phone, but around the beginning of December 2010, it started doing something funky. It seems that when I am either talking on the phone for a long period of time (around 15 minutes or so) or in the middle of a movie or while taking a video, the phone will go to a plain white screen, and it is impossible to turn it off or have any other interaction. In short, it freezes on that white screen. At other times, it will power itself off, and it also appears frozen, with no possible interaction. In either case, when I remove the battery for a few minutes and replace it, sometimes it comes back on, and other times I have to plug it into a charger, whether it's a USB cable or AC charger. In any case, I may have started with a full battery, but after this, the battery now only shows three and a half of five battery blocks. This is not limited to the OS, since it happened with the original OS back in December (4.6) and continues to occur now that I have upgraded to OS 5. It seems to be hardware related.

Jun 12, 2011My wife has a bb 9300 3g on os6 and everything has been fine.However somehow she has screwed up the wi-fi settings.The phone will not connect to our home router and displays the rror message " failed to obtain an IP address".I hve tried everything on the phone from
- Removing the wi-fi setting and reentering them.
- Entering the details manually
- Removing the battery and rebooting the phone
- Reinstally the os over the computer
Nothing seems to work. I know the router is fine as I have the same phone and it connects ok along with several other devices.Has anyone any suggestions before I reset the phone to factory setting?

Nov 5, 2012I've pulled the battery and it will start up, verify the security settings and go into the setup screen. At this point it becomes completely unresponsive. Pulling the battery and leaving it a week sometimes brings it back to life and it works fine for a day or so then it's starts having a mind of it's own again and hangs.As an example yesterday I got it working fine, charged it overnight and set my alarm, this morning at 6.30 the alarm went of and the whole phone was unresponsive I had to pull the battery in the end.
