my BB curve 9360 freezes for 10 mins quite regularly, bought it only 2 months back.It reboots itself automatically no. of times without any reason.I clear the cache from browser and other apps regularly, is it because of too many apps installed? I was told by someone that many people having this model of blackberry are facing the same problem, is it so? what can be done about it ?
My blackberry battery died one afternoon and when i started to charge it, the reboot screen kept appearing followed by the red LED light before attempting to reboot again. i have tried installing the new software but it is still rebooting half way stopping, LED light comes on and the whole process continues. the bb is only 2 months old and hasnt been dropped or damaged in any way. could the battery need replaced?
My phone seems to have a mind of its own recently. It is sometimes hangs. It also sometime reboots itself even when not touching it. What can I do to fix this problem?
Tried a few searches, but didn't find anything specific to the subject.Received my Lumia 920 last night, and since then it has either hung or rebooted randomly over a dozen times. It seems to happen mostly when navigating through screens or accessing apps. It will sit and stream music from the Nokia Music service fine... I have to perform a reset to recover the phone when it hangs.
I bought a new Nokia 5800 express music less than a week ago. Right from day one I got problems like auto reboot and mobile hang often. My phone came with software v 40.0.0.005. I took it to the showroom where I bought this phone and they advised me to update latest software and that will solve the issue. I updated to v 50.0.005. But within another one hour I ended up with same problem. I am seeing pink horizontal lines before reboot. It automatically reboots while messaging and when I try to do something with maps. It hangs often when I see any video file. I took it to nokia care again but they formatted my mobile and installed v 50.0.005 but am having the same problem again. How do I solve this issue. Is there any option to claim for a refund?? Any option to replace handset?? Preferably different model? I find lot of problem in using this phone which is not user friendly.
I am experiencing frequent system hangs and following reboots, as many as 4 reboots during the after work surfing sessions.
I have not been able to find a pattern, in the beginning I thought that it was connected to the browser, so I installed firefox, but the problem persists.
My curve 9380 is hanging again n again dono why? I am using excessive messages thru it. Do it affects the performance of a cellphone? It has started few days back only.
My company just recently singed a contract with AT&T. Nearly all the employees were provided with Blackberry Curve 9360's. We use an Exchange Server (remote desktop)and Microsoft Outlook. Is there a way to sync the Curve 9360 with an Exchange Server (remote desktop) and Microsoft Outlook?
I've pulled the battery and it will start up, verify the security settings and go into the setup screen. At this point it becomes completely unresponsive. Pulling the battery and leaving it a week sometimes brings it back to life and it works fine for a day or so then it's starts having a mind of it's own again and hangs. As an example yesterday I got it working fine, charged it overnight and set my alarm, this morning at 6.30 the alarm went of and the whole phone was unresponsive I had to pull the battery in the end.
Sometimes when I try and end a call the blackberry does not let me do it and hangs and displays the clock cursor. This is annoying and only happens sometimes and only if I hang up the call first.
how can i fix my blachberry 8520? after i delete a theme, it hangs and it only displays the homescreen.. the keypad and the trackpad does not function..
I am using 8310 curve which reboots 10 to 15 times a day, it doesn't reboot in standby mode or while plugged in PC through USB, but if I use it randomly as like hearing music or making a call or texting anyone it reboots,
Lately my blackberry has been shutting down then the red lights comes on for a few seconds then an hour glass shows up for a few seconds more then it reboots and it only reboots then when it turns back on I have no battery what so ever after it reboots even if the battery on full there would be noting left of the battery after rebooting I've called my service provider and they told me my software was corrupted so reinstalled the software as they told me and that still didn't work. It doesn't reboot while its on the charger though.
I am experiencing a rather strange behavior from my phone. In my office, where are deployed 5 computers (one of this is a notebook), my phone reboots randomly as the battery would have been removed. Outside from this room it works perfectly well. It seems like some kind of noise interferes with the device.
My Curve 9220 is getting hung sometimes when a call comes in. No key reacts. Only thing I am able to do is shutting the phone down, taking out the cell and reinserting. After that its working fine again. As of now its only during incoming calls.
My Sprint 8350 reboots several times during the day either while listening to MP3 files or just sitting on my desk. This is the second one I have that is doing the same thing. Sprint first told me that I needed to clear the log file using Alt LGLG and deleting the file. Next I was told to update the OS which I did. Lastly, they told me to clear the emails I receive and that should fix the problem. Now with my second phone it is doing all of the same thing.
I went to update my software direct from my phone and now my phone keeps rebooting and will not finish updating. My carrier is ATT. I have tried taking out the battery and it keeps doing it. I'm not sure where to go from here.
Everytime my phone reboots, i lose contact that i have entered recently. I have checked the database size and there is not even an address book mentioned. When I back up to laptop, it does not back up contacts, Been to Sprint repair center and all they did was delete all my contacts and i have to recreate
My 2 yr old Curve 8530 has recently started to reboot about 5 minutes into any and all phone calls. When rebooting is completed, the battery has been exhausted and needs to be recharged to perform any functions.
Rebooting does NOT occur during any other function use.
Im looking for help I purchased a 9360 the othe day and can't get over how hot the back becomes, and how poor the battery life is. I have taken the first one back to the shop and they couldn't get over it either so swapped it for another one. The replacement is just the same Is anyone else having the same problems or know if there is a cure/fix for this.
Whenever I reboot my 8330 (battery pull or alt+shift+del), it always comes back up with the data connection off, and i have to go Manage Connections and turn it on. Every time, without fail. I can't find a setting for this. Is there a way to stop this from happening?
However the last few weeks, it's been cutting out, Crashing, freezes up. Boots up, goes to the White Screen and goe's black, doesn't come on for at least 5 minutes before it boots up.I've been trying to reload its software but unable to because the phone freezes up and cuts off. So i have no clue what to do at this point. It has little episodes where it spazzes out goes white and the screen flickers for 20 seconds and shuts off. Battery pulls have been tried to fix the issue but even that isn't even working.i'm a Blackberry Guru myself but i've never seen this issue ever before on my Curve 3G. The odd occasional crash maybe due to over load on the memory, but this is getting beyond a joke, i can't even boot it up for at least 10 minutes or even a minute after it boots up it goes like Hell is decending into the thing.
UPDATE: I'm also being informed i'm not the only one with this issue, a fair few blackberries have gone insane in my area. Like if a hacker is tapping into the software and destroying it inside out with a virus or something. < An idea but not accurate.
