I am experiencing a rather strange behavior from my phone. In my office, where are deployed 5 computers (one of this is a notebook), my phone reboots randomly as the battery would have been removed. Outside from this room it works perfectly well. It seems like some kind of noise interferes with the device.

I heard there is an outage in the BIS but even if am texting, it suddenly turns off and then turn back on. I already rebooted it by getting the battery off the phone and the sim too for 30 seconds but no avail.

View 1 Replies View RelatedLately my blackberry has been shutting down then the red lights comes on for a few seconds then an hour glass shows up for a few seconds more then it reboots and it only reboots then when it turns back on I have no battery what so ever after it reboots even if the battery on full there would be noting left of the battery after rebooting I've called my service provider and they told me my software was corrupted so reinstalled the software as they told me and that still didn't work. It doesn't reboot while its on the charger though.

View 9 Replies View RelatedMy Sprint 8350 reboots several times during the day either while listening to MP3 files or just sitting on my desk. This is the second one I have that is doing the same thing. Sprint first told me that I needed to clear the log file using Alt LGLG and deleting the file. Next I was told to update the OS which I did. Lastly, they told me to clear the emails I receive and that should fix the problem. Now with my second phone it is doing all of the same thing.

View 5 Replies View RelatedMy 2 yr old Curve 8530 has recently started to reboot about 5 minutes into any and all phone calls. When rebooting is completed, the battery has been exhausted and needs to be recharged to perform any functions.
Rebooting does NOT occur during any other function use.
Whenever I reboot my 8330 (battery pull or alt+shift+del), it always comes back up with the data connection off, and i have to go Manage Connections and turn it on. Every time, without fail. I can't find a setting for this. Is there a way to stop this from happening?

View 1 Replies View RelatedHowever the last few weeks, it's been cutting out, Crashing, freezes up. Boots up, goes to the White Screen and goe's black, doesn't come on for at least 5 minutes before it boots up.I've been trying to reload its software but unable to because the phone freezes up and cuts off. So i have no clue what to do at this point. It has little episodes where it spazzes out goes white and the screen flickers for 20 seconds and shuts off. Battery pulls have been tried to fix the issue but even that isn't even working.i'm a Blackberry Guru myself but i've never seen this issue ever before on my Curve 3G. The odd occasional crash maybe due to over load on the memory, but this is getting beyond a joke, i can't even boot it up for at least 10 minutes or even a minute after it boots up it goes like Hell is decending into the thing.
UPDATE: I'm also being informed i'm not the only one with this issue, a fair few blackberries have gone insane in my area. Like if a hacker is tapping into the software and destroying it inside out with a virus or something. < An idea but not accurate.
My blackberry battery died one afternoon and when i started to charge it, the reboot screen kept appearing followed by the red LED light before attempting to reboot again. i have tried installing the new software but it is still rebooting half way stopping, LED light comes on and the whole process continues. the bb is only 2 months old and hasnt been dropped or damaged in any way. could the battery need replaced?

After the upgrade the phone now reboots everytime I try to view a video from the internet?
My phone is suffering from the infamous white screen of death about once a day now. The only response I can then get from it is if I do a battery pull. When I return the battery the phone starts to reboot but never finishes and just turns off and is unresponsive to any buttons. The only way I have found to remedy this is by charging the phone. It then turns on as normal. I will make a point of noting that my phone is never out of battery when this happens. When I go to charge it, it starts off at whatever percentage of full it was previously on.

The big problem: while it is shut down, people can call me, and I never see it (the phone doesn't ring, and after openning it I see no missed calls. It even happened to me not to ever receive messages sent while the iphone was dead.I have firstly tried to change my battery. The I tried to reboot (press and hold Lock&Home buttons), then I tried to reset it (to factory settings) from the iTunes. It did not help. Can anybody give me a hint about what else should I try?

The 8530 that I've had since Jan 01 is better, it only does it now and then when it is tethered to my pc.. Rendering it just about useless for my business activities. US Cellular is at a loss. I bought the same BB 9860.when I got it before three weeks, it was working fine till the 3rd day of using it. After that, it started to crash and crash over and over with doing automatic restart. I took it to the warranty company which is Axiom in the UAE, well they format it and the same problem still there. Then I returned back to them, so they finally replaced it with NEW one with new PIN code, but guess what... The same problem happened AGAIN !! just by today, it crashed six times !! and yesterday it freeze up completely, so I had to pull out the battery.
Some of my friends told me that the memory card (4GB) might bethe problem, so I bought new one with 8 GB space but still suffering.
This is an evidence that the software itself is NOT WORKING as it should be.What kind of mobile phone that will fail you down more than five times in a day ?It's expensive, It's new, I paid money for it, so why I can't get benefit of my spending?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am using 64gb class 10 sandisk sd card. So after updating to lollipop i have been getting these errors frequently and i have to restart the handset to fix it temporarily. I had this issue on kitkat as well but happened only rarely like once ot twice in 5 months.
These two things happened unfortunately,
1) I had dropped my phone on carpet from 2 feet after lollipop update. I wonder if the phone couldn't handle it and the connector for the sd slot has loosened.
2) Few days back i removed the sd card without unmounting it from settings and immediately got the error and kept happening after that.
3) I have tried 3 different cards and all give the same error while writing files or making changes on them.
4) this error also popped up weirdly last night without the sd card, but only once.
Recently, my unlocked jailbroken iPhone 3GS kept on shutting off out of the blue, and did so on a pretty regular basis (I only let this happen for a day or so before I took action, did research, and fixed it). It would say there was 37% of the battery power left, then 5%, then 17%, and then it would shut off. It was as if it didn't remember how much of the battery was left. Never had that happen before.
I did some research online and talked to some guys at Fry's. Some people online said it might be because it got wet or that it just needed to be re-jailbroken. The guy at Fry's suggested that I re-jailbreak it. I didn't really care to do that, as I am running 3.0.1, and did not want to go through the hassle if finding the new jailbreak for the latest version of the OS. Plus, I either want to wait for OS 4.0 to come out (hopefully June 7 at WWDC) and jailbreak that when it comes out, or if Steve Jobs rocks our world and releases the iPhone 4G at WWDC, then I'll buy that.
I recently updated my iPhone 4 to iOS 5.1 version, and now all the apps are running for a while, but then are closed unexpectedly, I tried to restart my iPhone, then I tried to reset the iPhone and then restore the backed up configuration, but the problem persists. All the applications run only just for a moment.

Sometimes when my iPhone 4s rings and it is in my pocket, I reach for it and when I pull it out the screen is zoomed in and nothing I do short of shutting it down will make it zoom out to normal. Is there a problem with this phone? In this state, I cannot answer it and it is very difficult to move the screen around to get to the shutdown slider.
