Sometimes when my iPhone 4s rings and it is in my pocket, I reach for it and when I pull it out the screen is zoomed in and nothing I do short of shutting it down will make it zoom out to normal. Is there a problem with this phone? In this state, I cannot answer it and it is very difficult to move the screen around to get to the shutdown slider.
View 2 RepliesI managed to zoom in yesterday by pinching the screen but now it won't let me zoom again. I've tried pinching it for about 100 years and i press and held the home and sleep/poweroff buttons until the apple sign came up, it still didn't do anything.

Since I upgrade my iPhone 5s to iOS 8.1.x, I started noticing some issues. While playing any game, screen will tilt unexpectedly. Similarly, during chatting or checking some Apps, screen turns upside down. Even the camera takes pictures upside down.

In non-workout mode, my MotoACTV screen unexpectedly goes dark after only a few seconds.
In workout mode the screen dims, a lot, after only a few seconds. For example: If I set the timeout for 30 minutes, it runs the full 30 minutes and goes dark. No problem so far, right?
But when I "wake up" the device by hitting the power button, the screen goes dark again (or dims in workout mode) in about two seconds and will not return to normal unless I go back into settings and reconfigure the timer.
I tried a factory reset, unchecking the workout screen timeout, no difference. Also, why is it that some uploaded workouts say "no raw data available"?

And since then it is not rceiving or sending any signal. It is also not getting connected to the PC. My repeated attempts by switching it OFF-on have yielded no results. That sorry window doesnot allow me to access anything in the mobile but for some duration of milliseconds when it is force closed with the option tab.

They seem fine as they are however when I zoom into the photo by pinching out, the image becomes very pixelated. Not what I would have expected from a camera that seems to be widely reviewed as being one of the best in a smartphone.
I took the images in automatic mode. Is there something I need to do in the settings or manual mode to lesson the pixilation on zoomed in images?
My understanding is that the higher the megapixels, the less pixelated the image will be when zoomed in. This has a 16mp camera which I would have thought should result in minimal pixilation on zoomed in images, however they seem just as pixilated as zoomed in images taken with 8mp camera's or even lower than that.
How whenever you're surfing the Internet on chrome, and you go to zoom in a little bit on a webpage, and then you click on a link? You get a bubble magnifying that link so you can see it better? Is there anyway to turn that magnification off or disable it?

The big problem: while it is shut down, people can call me, and I never see it (the phone doesn't ring, and after openning it I see no missed calls. It even happened to me not to ever receive messages sent while the iphone was dead.I have firstly tried to change my battery. The I tried to reboot (press and hold Lock&Home buttons), then I tried to reset it (to factory settings) from the iTunes. It did not help. Can anybody give me a hint about what else should I try?

I'm playing around with the video camera on my phone. How do you zoom in and out while recording a video? I've tried moving the track pad up and down but that did not work for zooming in or out. I can zoom in and out just find with the camera for taking photos. Now I just need to figure out how to do this while taking a video.

View 1 Replies View RelatedRecently, my unlocked jailbroken iPhone 3GS kept on shutting off out of the blue, and did so on a pretty regular basis (I only let this happen for a day or so before I took action, did research, and fixed it). It would say there was 37% of the battery power left, then 5%, then 17%, and then it would shut off. It was as if it didn't remember how much of the battery was left. Never had that happen before.
I did some research online and talked to some guys at Fry's. Some people online said it might be because it got wet or that it just needed to be re-jailbroken. The guy at Fry's suggested that I re-jailbreak it. I didn't really care to do that, as I am running 3.0.1, and did not want to go through the hassle if finding the new jailbreak for the latest version of the OS. Plus, I either want to wait for OS 4.0 to come out (hopefully June 7 at WWDC) and jailbreak that when it comes out, or if Steve Jobs rocks our world and releases the iPhone 4G at WWDC, then I'll buy that.
I recently updated my iPhone 4 to iOS 5.1 version, and now all the apps are running for a while, but then are closed unexpectedly, I tried to restart my iPhone, then I tried to reset the iPhone and then restore the backed up configuration, but the problem persists. My question is about Nokia Maps for Web sites. If this isn't the appropriate forum please let me know where to post.I have the map at the middle of the lower 1/3 portion of the page. If the user starts scrolling the page with the mouse wheel and the mouse pointer ends up over the map, the scrolling automatically starts zooming out the map. This is a problem because the user expects to scroll the page, not the map. And what ends up happening is that the map is zoomed out all the way and the user cannot reach the end of the page unless he/she moves the mouse pointer outside the map.I would like to have the mouse scroll zoom the map only if the user first clicked on the map. Is there a way to do this.

Whenever the phone is in camera mode, the zoom buttons don't zoom in or out or do anything. But when it is in music player mode they turn the volume up and down perfectly fine. Any ideas how to fix it or is a trip to Nokia Care needed? Would upgrading the firmware do anything to solve the problem?
View 2 Replies View RelatedHas anyone else noticed that after you have shot a video while using the volume/zoom switch to zoom in and out that when you play back the video you can hear the clicking of the switch? If you use the slide zoom on screen, the microphone also picks up the noise from your finger moving across the screen using that method too. This is a major problem as you cannot hear what you have filmed when you play it back, when I took it back to the shop where I purchased it from to explain about it they checked all the other N8's in the shop and they too had the same fault. Come on Nokia you managed to be able to get it right on my old N95-00 without it making the clicking noises,so you must be able to sort it out on the N8, the videos at the moment are unwatchable as all you hear is click, click ,click where the zoom button has been pressed.
