Is it just me or are some of the pictures on the g3 quite grainy compared to other smartphone, especially while zooming in? Strange thing is, if I view a g3 photo on another device, it doesn't appear as grainy??
View 1 Repliesmy iPhone 4S pictures have ALWAYS been sharp and crystal clear but recently they are extremely grainy. I do not have anything blocking the camera lens and have even cleaned any smudges but I am experiencing the same thing. When I look at photos I took before compared to recent weeks, they are horrible! This is mainly happening to more indoor photos than outdoor photos.

Images in Safari always look grainy when zoomed in. On the other hand, text is always crystal clear. What causes this? Is there anything Apple can do to fix this?

View 4 Replies View RelatedMy screen recently started to play up.rather than the perfect bright picture I have a very grainy,barcode like mess on my phone.When i push the screen down with a little pressure it returns to normal but for a very limited time then it goes all wonky again. It feels like something has become loose inside the phone that keeps the screen working normally.It is getting worse and i dont want to lose my phone iv only had it 1 month! I have only dropped it once or twice no water has been near it and I cant think of anything else which may have caused this. Ill be gutted if it packs in on me. heard about a lot of problems with this phone my friends have the same problems as me.Has anybody else had this problem?can anyone recommend a solution to this?Please help.

I have seen pics with my n82 much smoother and vivid colors, and overall LESS THAN 1.5 mb in size. How is that possible? Here we have two 5 mp cameras, both takes the same pics, but the picture with smaller file size is better than with higher one. Is it the amount of grains/distortion the reason for more 'mb' in pics with k850i? Is there any way to take a pic with less than 10% grains?

It is using the 3.2 system and immediately when I turned it on I noticed that the boot up screen (blue honeycomb screen) was very blurry. Once it booted up I went on the browser and noticed that some of the ad boxes on the browser, dolphin and default were fuzzy and grainy. I also noticed that videos that opened and played from web pages were a little blurry. This is not the case with my friends aseus. We did a side by side. Is this normal for the xoom? Especially the blurry boot up screen?

They seem fine as they are however when I zoom into the photo by pinching out, the image becomes very pixelated. Not what I would have expected from a camera that seems to be widely reviewed as being one of the best in a smartphone.
I took the images in automatic mode. Is there something I need to do in the settings or manual mode to lesson the pixilation on zoomed in images?
My understanding is that the higher the megapixels, the less pixelated the image will be when zoomed in. This has a 16mp camera which I would have thought should result in minimal pixilation on zoomed in images, however they seem just as pixilated as zoomed in images taken with 8mp camera's or even lower than that.
How whenever you're surfing the Internet on chrome, and you go to zoom in a little bit on a webpage, and then you click on a link? You get a bubble magnifying that link so you can see it better? Is there anyway to turn that magnification off or disable it?
View 4 Replies View RelatedSometimes when my iPhone 4s rings and it is in my pocket, I reach for it and when I pull it out the screen is zoomed in and nothing I do short of shutting it down will make it zoom out to normal. Is there a problem with this phone? In this state, I cannot answer it and it is very difficult to move the screen around to get to the shutdown slider.

Is there a way to get the text in the browser to "reflow" when zooming in or out? It's a bit annoying to have to drag the screen back and forth when reading.I've had this 9900 for just about two weeks and I'm somewhat disappointed. This comes from a guy who, after using a BlackBerry device for four years, switched to Android last year, and could only dream of another BlackBerry.This thing is glitchy (if I brush the volume/mute buttons even lightly, it fires off a bunch of letters, it's crashed already a couple of times) and ridiculously slow when compared to my old Android device. If I had actually paid the $599 recommended retail device, I would have immediately demanded my money back and just learned to live with the crappy Android keyboard.Plus, T-Mobile has yet to provide update 7.1, allowing me to use the wi-fi hotspot capabilities, which I used REGULARLY on my Android for over a year..No WONDER RIM is in so much trouble.

View 1 Replies View RelatedNokia must of know about the zooming problem with the 6710 navigator.as you don't release a product on the market unless you have tested it first.so i think they knew about the problem but decided to ship it out any way and relyed on it's staff to solve the zooming problem with a software upgrade but that has not happened because there is no solution for it so nokia why don't you come clean and say there is a problem with it.I'm taken my second one back tomorrow maybe go for a different phone.

My question is about Nokia Maps for Web sites. If this isn't the appropriate forum please let me know where to post.I have the map at the middle of the lower 1/3 portion of the page. If the user starts scrolling the page with the mouse wheel and the mouse pointer ends up over the map, the scrolling automatically starts zooming out the map. This is a problem because the user expects to scroll the page, not the map. And what ends up happening is that the map is zoomed out all the way and the user cannot reach the end of the page unless he/she moves the mouse pointer outside the map.I would like to have the mouse scroll zoom the map only if the user first clicked on the map. Is there a way to do this.

But when it is in music player mode they turn the volume up and down perfectly fine. Any ideas how to fix it or is a trip to Nokia Care needed? Would upgrading the firmware do anything to solve the problem?
View 2 Replies View RelatedHas anyone else noticed that after you have shot a video while using the volume/zoom switch to zoom in and out that when you play back the video you can hear the clicking of the switch? If you use the slide zoom on screen, the microphone also picks up the noise from your finger moving across the screen using that method too. This is a major problem as you cannot hear what you have filmed when you play it back, when I took it back to the shop where I purchased it from to explain about it they checked all the other N8's in the shop and they too had the same fault. Come on Nokia you managed to be able to get it right on my old N95-00 without it making the clicking noises,so you must be able to sort it out on the N8, the videos at the moment are unwatchable as all you hear is click, click ,click where the zoom button has been pressed. I bought this phone mainly for the excellent camera/video but at the moment all I have is a very expensive touch screen phone

Also the phone guide tells you can select where to save the pictures by going to Settings - Application settings - camera - Photo or Video. Unfortunately in my N8 Belle there is no possibility to select any folder for saving the pictures. So I can not find the new pictures anywhere to remove them from the phone without using computer.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI use my Nokia phone camera a lot like taking pictures of furnitures, tools, appliances, and other items that I want to know the dimensions (measurements in inches or metric) of to study the pictured items at home. Sometime I carry with me a tape measure and I lay it along the lenght and/r height of the item just to get a rough measurement of the item's dimension.Is it possible for Nokia to develop a camera with a built-in measuring tape that shows up in the pictures taken? The measuring tape should be able to adjust to the distance between the camera and the object so that the actual dimension of the object is measured accurately. If I take a picture of crawling snake from 20 feet away the picture taken should be able to show the actual lenght of the snake.
