IPhone :: Zooming On 4s Camera By Pinching Screen
Apr 5, 2012I managed to zoom in yesterday by pinching the screen but now it won't let me zoom again. I've tried pinching it for about 100 years and i press and held the home and sleep/poweroff buttons until the apple sign came up, it still didn't do anything.

Apr 3, 2010Whenever the phone is in camera mode, the zoom buttons don't zoom in or out or do anything. But when it is in music player mode they turn the volume up and down perfectly fine. Any ideas how to fix it or is a trip to Nokia Care needed? Would upgrading the firmware do anything to solve the problem?

Jan 5, 2011Has anyone else noticed that after you have shot a video while using the volume/zoom switch to zoom in and out that when you play back the video you can hear the clicking of the switch? If you use the slide zoom on screen, the microphone also picks up the noise from your finger moving across the screen using that method too. This is a major problem as you cannot hear what you have filmed when you play it back, when I took it back to the shop where I purchased it from to explain about it they checked all the other N8's in the shop and they too had the same fault. Come on Nokia you managed to be able to get it right on my old N95-00 without it making the clicking noises,so you must be able to sort it out on the N8, the videos at the moment are unwatchable as all you hear is click, click ,click where the zoom button has been pressed. I bought this phone mainly for the excellent camera/video but at the moment all I have is a very expensive touch screen phone

Apr 14, 2012I have bought a C2-01 phone for use away from my home country and wish to disable all access to the internet as it would be extremely expensive. In Menu/Settings/Connectivity/Packet Data/Packet data conn./ I only have 2 selections "When needed" or "Always online", what is missing is "Never". The trouble is there are lots of internet accessing options within the phone menu system that use the internet and if you accidentally select one it will go "online" without asking.

Nov 8, 2015Had the G4 for a few days and Ive taken a few pictures today with the camera. They seem fine as they are however when I zoom into the photo by pinching out, the image becomes very pixelated. Not what I would have expected from a camera that seems to be widely reviewed as being one of the best in a smartphone.
I took the images in automatic mode. Is there something I need to do in the settings or manual mode to lesson the pixilation on zoomed in images?
My understanding is that the higher the megapixels, the less pixelated the image will be when zoomed in. This has a 16mp camera which I would have thought should result in minimal pixilation on zoomed in images, however they seem just as pixilated as zoomed in images taken with 8mp camera's or even lower than that.

If the user starts scrolling the page with the mouse wheel and the mouse pointer ends up over the map, the scrolling automatically starts zooming out the map. This is a problem because the user expects to scroll the page, not the map. And what ends up happening is that the map is zoomed out all the way and the user cannot reach the end of the page unless he/she moves the mouse pointer outside the map.I would like to have the mouse scroll zoom the map only if the user first clicked on the map. Is there a way to do this.
