I can be reading news on the web & my browser will tell me it's closing unexpectedly.I don't use facebook, twitter, or any social programs. I have updated software (even though phone didn't see the new firmware) & it didn't help. My 9800 only did this if I opened too many pages. Only 1 page runnning when this happens
View 9 RepliesMainly happens while on facebook mobile, and will occure while typing completely randomly. The reply from support is simply update software, I can't see why I have to do all this, as apart from anything else I don't currently have a phone line for internet due to illegal BT sales activity! It is also suggested that I send phone off in a jiffy bag to be repaired if unsuccessful, and what do I do for a phone in the mean time?? Not only that they suggest that it will cost me if it is not a fault they cover.

I'm not doing anything that could be considered memory or processor intensive.

When I closed the software update and started to use the opera mini and Nokia store, the Nokia store app is closing on its own. Other problems with fp2 are, camera takes long time to open. Gallery opens but we cannot tap on images, same thing with thumbnail image in the camera sometimes.

Whenever I click on a mailto: link, my browser starts opening new tabs uncontrollably until I turn off my radio, which will stop the problem with however many tabs are open at the time. View 3 Replies View Relatedopying contacts from a Bold 9810 to another 9810.Using the BB Desktop Software I did a full backup of the device (which contained 400+ contacts), then did a full restore on a new 9810, but only 200 contacts were copied over.Next I tried to do a selective restore, but although the 400+ contacts were in the file, it was grayed out and could not be selected. How can I get all the contacts into the new 9810. (Side note: I was able to restore the 400+ contacts to a BB Bold).

The big problem: while it is shut down, people can call me, and I never see it (the phone doesn't ring, and after openning it I see no missed calls. It even happened to me not to ever receive messages sent while the iphone was dead.I have firstly tried to change my battery. The I tried to reboot (press and hold Lock&Home buttons), then I tried to reset it (to factory settings) from the iTunes. It did not help. Can anybody give me a hint about what else should I try?

After that, it started to crash and crash over and over with doing automatic restart. I took it to the warranty company which is Axiom in the UAE, well they format it and the same problem still there. View 2 Replies View RelatedI am using 64gb class 10 sandisk sd card. So after updating to lollipop i have been getting these errors frequently and i have to restart the handset to fix it temporarily. I had this issue on kitkat as well but happened only rarely like once ot twice in 5 months.
These two things happened unfortunately,
1) I had dropped my phone on carpet from 2 feet after lollipop update. I wonder if the phone couldn't handle it and the connector for the sd slot has loosened.
2) Few days back i removed the sd card without unmounting it from settings and immediately got the error and kept happening after that.
3) I have tried 3 different cards and all give the same error while writing files or making changes on them.
4) this error also popped up weirdly last night without the sd card, but only once.
Recently, my unlocked jailbroken iPhone 3GS kept on shutting off out of the blue, and did so on a pretty regular basis (I only let this happen for a day or so before I took action, did research, and fixed it). It would say there was 37% of the battery power left, then 5%, then 17%, and then it would shut off. It was as if it didn't remember how much of the battery was left. Never had that happen before.
I did some research online and talked to some guys at Fry's. Some people online said it might be because it got wet or that it just needed to be re-jailbroken. The guy at Fry's suggested that I re-jailbreak it. I didn't really care to do that, as I am running 3.0.1, and did not want to go through the hassle if finding the new jailbreak for the latest version of the OS. Plus, I either want to wait for OS 4.0 to come out (hopefully June 7 at WWDC) and jailbreak that when it comes out, or if Steve Jobs rocks our world and releases the iPhone 4G at WWDC, then I'll buy that.
I recently updated my iPhone 4 to iOS 5.1 version, and now all the apps are running for a while, but then are closed unexpectedly, I tried to restart my iPhone, then I tried to reset the iPhone and then restore the backed up configuration, but the problem persists. All the applications run only just for a moment.

Sometimes when my iPhone 4s rings and it is in my pocket, I reach for it and when I pull it out the screen is zoomed in and nothing I do short of shutting it down will make it zoom out to normal. Is there a problem with this phone? In this state, I cannot answer it and it is very difficult to move the screen around to get to the shutdown slider.
