my desire z has a problem that it will turn off unexpectedly and the only way to restart it is to unplug the battery and put it back on....it's very annoying since i can receive any calls when it is randomly off.
using a HTC Desire HD using Andoid 2.21 and everytime I try to add text to a text message or when I connect to the internet I get the error message. The application Message(process com.android.mms)has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. With a force close button

Now my phone won't turn on at all I have tried the battery pull, used both the wall and USB chargers nothings working.

Does anyone know how to disable the visual Charge status when plugged into the mains? find it annoying that it tells me what percentage the battery is in at night, I don't need to know this & i can't stand lights on at night lo
why my wallpaper reverts to the default HTC wallpaper every time I turn off my phone (Desire)? I have set up scenes on my phone and have a live wallpaper set into these, yet every time I turn off my phone it loses the live wallpaper and I have to select my scene again. As far as I can tell it does not change any of the other elements of the scene, just the wallpaper, although I have never really checked as I just re-select my chosen scene each time.
For some reason, everytime I answer my Desire S, it has started to come on with the speaker. I have to press the speaker off button to take calls privately. Is there a method to allow me the option to take a call and then turn the speaker on when I need to.
I just downloaded handcent. It's an app for texting that I like better then the default messages app. When I get a text, I get a notification on both the messages and handcent. Is there a way i can delete messages or disable it in anyway so that i don't get the double notification?
I have HTC Desire. I had some videos and pictures in my mobile. I never deleted them from my mobile, I just transferred them to my PC and with transfer they disappear. I can't see them in Gallery any more. Luckily due to the backup software Astro, i have got my Pictures back but I can't locate my videos anywhere. To remind you, I just transferred them, not deleted them from mobile.
The HTC desire and HT Sync work well with Contacts, Photos and Calendar. But with documents, the synchronisation appears to be from the PC to the Desire and not the other way round. Thus it appears to copy rather than synchronise.
On my PC and Galaxy Tab 10.1, when connected to my home router, I get about 1.5 mbps for my download speed. On the HTC I get less than 500 kbps. Anyone any ideas on how I can improve the download speed on the Desire, or is this the speed which it is supposed to operate at?
I cannot open it unless I charge it (even if it has 80% battery). The big problem: while it is shut down, people can call me, and I never see it (the phone doesn't ring, and after openning it I see no missed calls. It even happened to me not to ever receive messages sent while the iphone was dead.I have firstly tried to change my battery. The I tried to reboot (press and hold Lock&Home buttons), then I tried to reset it (to factory settings) from the iTunes. It did not help. Can anybody give me a hint about what else should I try?
I am experiencing a rather strange behavior from my phone. In my office, where are deployed 5 computers (one of this is a notebook), my phone reboots randomly as the battery would have been removed. Outside from this room it works perfectly well. It seems like some kind of noise interferes with the device.
for like the past week my sensation has been telling me that "htc sense has stopped unexpectedly" it does it in random places, nothing i have been able to track. then whenever im done doing whatever im doing and push the home button the white HTC splash screen pops up with the green writing and then starts loading as if i had just restarted the phone
When I use the web browser on my new E72 it closes unexpectedly and somewhat randomly. All software is up to date. I discovered that if I go to the following website I can make it close/crash every time:
My newly bought BB Curve 8520 unexpectedly turns off in the middle of doing anything on it, most especially when am connected to Social Networking Sites. I heard there is an outage in the BIS but even if am texting, it suddenly turns off and then turn back on. I already rebooted it by getting the battery off the phone and the sim too for 30 seconds but no avail.
I bought the same BB 9860.when I got it before three weeks, it was working fine till the 3rd day of using it. After that, it started to crash and crash over and over with doing automatic restart. I took it to the warranty company which is Axiom in the UAE, well they format it and the same problem still there. Then I returned back to them, so they finally replaced it with NEW one with new PIN code, but guess what... The same problem happened AGAIN !! just by today, it crashed six times !! and yesterday it freeze up completely, so I had to pull out the battery.
Some of my friends told me that the memory card (4GB) might bethe problem, so I bought new one with 8 GB space but still suffering. This is an evidence that the software itself is NOT WORKING as it should be.What kind of mobile phone that will fail you down more than five times in a day ?It's expensive, It's new, I paid money for it, so why I can't get benefit of my spending?
i'm using sony erricson xperia mini mobile phone...i got the error com.android.phone has been stopped unexpectedly with force close message,if i give the force close...it appears again and again, network has been lost(no tower). i gave factory restore default, after giving this all application lost and mobile working. suppose i restart the mobile means the same error has been occuring.
I am using 64gb class 10 sandisk sd card. So after updating to lollipop i have been getting these errors frequently and i have to restart the handset to fix it temporarily. I had this issue on kitkat as well but happened only rarely like once ot twice in 5 months.
These two things happened unfortunately,
1) I had dropped my phone on carpet from 2 feet after lollipop update. I wonder if the phone couldn't handle it and the connector for the sd slot has loosened.
2) Few days back i removed the sd card without unmounting it from settings and immediately got the error and kept happening after that.
3) I have tried 3 different cards and all give the same error while writing files or making changes on them.
4) this error also popped up weirdly last night without the sd card, but only once.
Recently, my unlocked jailbroken iPhone 3GS kept on shutting off out of the blue, and did so on a pretty regular basis (I only let this happen for a day or so before I took action, did research, and fixed it). It would say there was 37% of the battery power left, then 5%, then 17%, and then it would shut off. It was as if it didn't remember how much of the battery was left. Never had that happen before.
I did some research online and talked to some guys at Fry's. Some people online said it might be because it got wet or that it just needed to be re-jailbroken. The guy at Fry's suggested that I re-jailbreak it. I didn't really care to do that, as I am running 3.0.1, and did not want to go through the hassle if finding the new jailbreak for the latest version of the OS. Plus, I either want to wait for OS 4.0 to come out (hopefully June 7 at WWDC) and jailbreak that when it comes out, or if Steve Jobs rocks our world and releases the iPhone 4G at WWDC, then I'll buy that.
I recently updated my iPhone 4 to iOS 5.1 version, and now all the apps are running for a while, but then are closed unexpectedly, I tried to restart my iPhone, then I tried to reset the iPhone and then restore the backed up configuration, but the problem persists. All the applications run only just for a moment.
Sometimes when my iPhone 4s rings and it is in my pocket, I reach for it and when I pull it out the screen is zoomed in and nothing I do short of shutting it down will make it zoom out to normal. Is there a problem with this phone? In this state, I cannot answer it and it is very difficult to move the screen around to get to the shutdown slider.
i Have x10 Mini. After i upgraded to 2.1 most of the time when i dial or receive a call an error message shows "Card Removed Unexpectedly" then if i try to re-insert the card the phone gets hanged i have to reset it.I am using 8 GB Sandisk card.
within a month i got this problem 2 times.1st time i factory reseted my phone but this time i dont wanna do it...b'coz i have many important messages...i have read many forums regarding "Messages has stopped unexpectedly "...most of them suggested to uninstall antivirus or task killer and restart phone...but none of these had worked...
Whenever I take a picture with my 4S (OS 5.1) the camera automatically closes it out and goes back to main screen. I can't access my photos except thru photostream w/o it closing out. I tried to hard reset it but it did not fix the problem.
