View 1 RepliesFor the last week or so the phone keeps shutting itself off and restarting only to go into a loop.
I then take battery out and start up again. It will get to the main screen and will just do the same thing again. After ages and ages of messing around it will then seem to be fine.
I've noticed it only seems to do it late in the evening and on the taskbar it keeps showing the gps satalite symbol. If the phone dnt show it then it dnt seem to shut down.
I always believed this phone to be of good reliability but its not. I will be phoning my operator as to me its a faulty phone. I do have anti virus apps which show no problem.
I had a contract with Vodafone over 2 years ago and decided on the BlackBerry Storm 9500 handset . After 6 Months of receiving the phone it developed a fault, i have returned it for repairs on a number of occasions and the reoccurring problem has never been solved & fixed . After eighteen months the phone will still not turn on and when it does work it turns off within one hour of it working, i have been to the Vodafone shop in Torquay South Devon and they supplied me with a new battery to try but it still switches itself off . I ave talked to Vodafone and i was told a fault has been found on this particular model of handset. After 24 months of having this contract phone i have now upgraded to a BlackBerry Torch . I would like to return the 9500 handset to get a free full repair or a replacement as i now need to use both phones. This phone has also had problems with freezing and locking up

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've had my HTC Desire HD for just under 2 weeks and it keeps turning itself off. It goes through phases - it will be ok for a couple of days then today for example - I keep putting it to one side after using it and then pick it up again and it has turned off. Today - it is restarting to the White / Green HTC logo screen then turning right off again. But then intermittently it is staying on for a little bit.
View 9 Replies View RelatedIt has previously glitched when turning on, but it always does turn on. It's fully charged, I had it charging all night and in the morning it worked fine. I was turning in on and off a couple time during the day and it started fine. Went to turn in on later and nothing happened. Nothing lit up or anything. I took out the battery and put it back in and nothing. I tried charging it for hours and still nothing. I've only had it about 5 months and the battery seems fine.

View 1 Replies View Relatedit makes it impossible to use the slide out keyboard in low light as i can't see the keys. i'm not good enough to know where they all are . i phoned htc uk ( milton keynes ) and they gave me a ticket # so i sent it back. got it back 2 weeks later . they told me they replaced the mother board and it was fixed. imagine my surprize when on first use the backlight kept going out. -problem not fixed. so back on the phone. they said to send it back, so another ticket # and another 2 week wait. guess what?- they replaced the mother board and guess what / it still didn't work. so back on the phone , they said to send it in and gave me a ticket # this time i insisted they replace the phone as it was the 3rd time for the same problem. i waited for a reply and after 2 days they said they will replace it in 5 days of receipt of my phone. so i sent it back. 7 days later they tell me they received it and i was to wait 5 working days for new one to arrive. guess what ?- 6 working days and nothing. i was on the phone today to them and they said that it will bee 10 working days as they needed parts for it. well i said i'm supposed to be getting a new 1 and they said they are putting it together.. what a load of bull$#!?. so i wrote them a letter.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've had my HTC Desire S for 14 days now and there is one thing in particular which I haven't been able to figure out:when I am writing a text message (sms, is it called that in english speaking countries?) using the T9 dictionary/input method (and the phone keyboard of course) I am presented with a number of words which could match the pressed keys. Fx. "4663" lets me choose between "Home", "Imod", "Hood", "Good" ect. Lets say I either forgot to choose a word and just went along with the default optione "Home" or actually wrongfully choose "Home" when I really wanted "Good".How do I get to choose again? Of course you could place the cursor behind the word, delete a few chars and then get the suggestions again, but it seems down right stupid that you cannot press and hold the word or similar to get the suggestions once more.

A quick flip of the keyboard in and back out and its fine again.
View 4 Replies View Relatedmy desire z has a problem that it will turn off unexpectedly and the only way to restart it is to unplug the battery and put it back on....it's very annoying since i can receive any calls when it is randomly off.
View 1 Replies View RelatedAround a week ago I used a friends 'selfie stick'. The same day I was walking around Windsor and noted that the phone had powered down. I tried pressing the power key, but the phone did not turn on. I took the battery out, replaced it and then the phone came back on.
The problem now seems to reoccur when I have put my phone in my back pocket and either walk some distance, or keep it in my back pocket in the car (for some reason).
Does anyone know how to disable the visual Charge status when plugged into the mains? find it annoying that it tells me what percentage the battery is in at night, I don't need to know this & i can't stand lights on at night lo
View 4 Replies View Relatedwhy my wallpaper reverts to the default HTC wallpaper every time I turn off my phone (Desire)? I have set up scenes on my phone and have a live wallpaper set into these, yet every time I turn off my phone it loses the live wallpaper and I have to select my scene again. As far as I can tell it does not change any of the other elements of the scene, just the wallpaper, although I have never really checked as I just re-select my chosen scene each time.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI just had to have Verizon send me my 3rd one since December cause mine keep shutting themselves off and then won't come back on at all. Then I changed batteries from the 1st phone that was left over and put it in the 2nd worked for a little while and then wouldn't send or receive messages or calls. I took the battery out and rebooted it again and I plugged into the computer and did an update and still nothing that's when all of a suddent it shut itself off and wouldn't come back on which is what the 1st one did. Is anyone else having this kind of trouble? Other than this I love my BB but this is the 1st one I have had and it isn't making a good first impression.
View 3 Replies View RelatedMy M7 died on me and never came back on, so I was wondering if this was an issue with the M8 too? Just the phone turning off and never coming back on. I had a friend whose Galaxy S3 did the same thing.
If it is, is it a very common issue for both the M7 & M8? I loved my M7 and should be upgrading soon, but idk if its a smart decision. Right now prices for both devices are doable, but is it worth it to even invest ~$200?
I would hate to sink in some money and have it blow up in my face again

View 1 Replies View RelatedJust recently my Bold 9650 has been periodically losing the radio connection. I usually only notice it when I attempt to place a call and get the 'radio connection off' message. When I attempt to restore the connection (via Quicklaunch) nothing happens. I have to do a hard reset to get the connection back which is a pain in the a**. I noticed it this time right after I was connected to Desktop Manager. Any correlation?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI brought a blackberry a couple of days ago and it has been fine. Then today it ran out of battery and so when I got home I put it on charge. It is not turning back on and has been charging for nearly 4 hours. I have tried the battery pull and still nothing. There is no lights and the screen is just blank. What should I do?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've had the G4 since it was launched and until now been very pleased. A couple of days ago it started to turn the screen on by itself every time it timed out or I pressed the lock button... Unless it's plugged into a charger. I've tried pulling the battery and uninstalling any recent apps I'd installed but to no avail. Annoyingly, by the time I got myself to carphone warehouse to get it sorted I was just outside my 28 days.
View 8 Replies View RelatedMy iphone shuts off randomly even though it is fully charged. It then will not turn back on unless it is plugged into a power outlet. Is it the operating system or is the phone broken? It says I need to restore which I have already and I also have updated.

Last week my iPhone froze and then it turned back on after 10 minutes, then the next day in school it just froze on the apple start up logo and it was getting really warm it turned off later because it ran out of battery. When I got home I charged it and it did the same all over again, and it still does it now, so I connected it to iTunes and tried to restore it but it says there's an error.
