I use the auto on and off. I have only had the phone 2 weeks. The problem I have is that it turns it self off and when It should come on in the morning it fails to turn back on, now I plug my phone into power to find out the battery has drain through the night even when switch off, this is a massive pain because I use it has my alarm clock as well but bed cause of this problem the alarm isn't going off.

I always set it to 2G and the battery lasted for 3 days. after the update I lost the 2G only option. Now when set on 2G&3G the battery only last 1.25 days.
View 5 Replies View RelatedIt has previously glitched when turning on, but it always does turn on. It's fully charged, I had it charging all night and in the morning it worked fine. I was turning in on and off a couple time during the day and it started fine. Went to turn in on later and nothing happened. Nothing lit up or anything. I took out the battery and put it back in and nothing. I tried charging it for hours and still nothing. I've only had it about 5 months and the battery seems fine.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI just had to have Verizon send me my 3rd one since December cause mine keep shutting themselves off and then won't come back on at all. Then I changed batteries from the 1st phone that was left over and put it in the 2nd worked for a little while and then wouldn't send or receive messages or calls. I took the battery out and rebooted it again and I plugged into the computer and did an update and still nothing that's when all of a suddent it shut itself off and wouldn't come back on which is what the 1st one did. Is anyone else having this kind of trouble? Other than this I love my BB but this is the 1st one I have had and it isn't making a good first impression.

After I turn it back on i get the symbol in the top right that says "off" which according to the starting guide book says "Your connection to the wireless network is turned off" The only way i can fix this is pulling the battery. Is there a way to get back on after my phone is charged besides pulling the battery??

After 6 Months of receiving the phone it developed a fault, i have returned it for repairs on a number of occasions and the reoccurring problem has never been solved & fixed . After eighteen months the phone will still not turn on and when it does work it turns off within one hour of it working, i have been to the Vodafone shop in Torquay South Devon and they supplied me with a new battery to try but it still switches itself off . I ave talked to Vodafone and i was told a fault has been found on this particular model of handset. After 24 months of having this contract phone i have now upgraded to a BlackBerry Torch . I would like to return the 9500 handset to get a free full repair or a replacement as i now need to use both phones. This phone has also had problems with freezing and locking up

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to use standard 3.5mm jack headphones on my curve. However for a start they don't seem to fit very well (they don't go all the way down). Secondly when in all they way all I get is a kind of a low clicking noise. If I pull the connector out slightly I can just about get it to play but the sound quality is poor. Does this ring any bells? Same thing happens with multiple headphones and whether I'm playing an MP3 or using the radio. The OS is 7.10 bundle 1319.

Location services are on and GPS is set to Device, I refresh the GPS and it fails to locate. Doesn't matter whether I'm inside or out, it times-out and fails.
I've tried the GPS diagnostics and it just says the same thing; that it couldn't find my location. My network supports GPS as I used it on my old 9300, so I'm a little stumped.
Also, BlackBerry maps refuses to search, just saying 'Unknown Error'. Possibly connected?
I bought a curve 9320 with which i got a 6 months free Black berry services ( BBS).For the activation of BBS i have sent a msg BBSFREE at 121 but my services is not activated.After calling in customer care they told me that they have activated my services on their hand and told me that you will have to register your phone to avail services.I donno how to register phone to activate my BBS.

I paired the Playbook with a friends phone (9360) which operates on a different system 7.1 Bundle 1133. And this works fine and we can access the emails and the device and playbook work fine.
I just got dis BB curve and I noticed it didn't ring for long.so I took another fone and called my number.I could hear it ringing on d other fone but my BB wasn't ringing,not even an incoming call alert till about the third ring.I tried with several phones and the same thing happened.it annoys me coz by the tym my BB rings and I have 2 pick up,the caller is hanging up coz it rang for long.

Also as soon as I brought the phone I downloaded the Blackberry Desktop Support software. The desktop software and the storage options on the phone both say that I have a 14.4MB remaining on the phone storage and 1.4GB remaining on my memory card. When I attempt to download apps on the phone through my Wi-Fi it says that there is not enough space remaining. I assume that the phone only attempts to download the app to the device memory. Is there a way that I can get the phone to automatically download the app directly to my memory card? Or is there some other problem which is stopping me downloading apps?

I am new user of Blackberry, but I am fond of the system and I want to continue to use it.Unfortunately, I have a problem. I donīt have BIS/BBS but my phone has a Wi-Fi! Every time I connect on my Wi-Fi there is only browser in the phone which is working. None of my applications (App world, Googlemaps, LogicMail, Twitter, Facebook, RSS etc.) work. The only solution seems to be to restart my phone completely. Then everything is fine except Gmaps and RSS (- there is still an announcement: please ensure that your device is connected to the wireless network and try again). I donīt understand it. If I turn on Wi-Fi, it everything should work normally.I am also an iOS user and on Apple devices wi-fi works just great with every application, no need to restart the device.
