My iphone shuts off randomly even though it is fully charged. It then will not turn back on unless it is plugged into a power outlet. Is it the operating system or is the phone broken? It says I need to restore which I have already and I also have updated.

My ihpone4 keeps shutting off everytime it is not plugged in to a charger.
It has 100% battery so I know that the battery isn't "dead." I have pressed the home button and lock button together to restart the whole phone multiple times. Doesn't make a difference (and frankly that doesn't even work if not plugged in). Â
I Had this phone when it came out, within 2 months I started having problems. Including it's broken 4 chargers. (When I say broken, I mean it ruins the inside of the charger) and then I went to the apple store they said it was a hardware issue and without asking if I backed anything up, restarts my phone, as if it were in the new settings. Then after that 3 months later it started having problems again. Now It won't stop shutting off without me touching it. I have AppleCare+ should I just go back in, but I don't want them just to restart it again.

I am posting this thread for a friend who is having some serious issues with her BB 9700. It is a phone that was purchased from TMOBILE that was unlocked so that she can use with her Service provider. During this week gone, she plugged her bb into her PC and an error came up. the PC asked if to fix the error or contnue without scanning. She selected the latter. Then yesterday, when she plugged her phone in to charge it immediately shut off. After putting it back on she plugged it in again to charge and the same thing happened again. Since then, she is unable open her pictures in her media folder- She can only preview it.Also when she tries to send a picture via BBM she only sees two of the pictures that she has on her phone and is unable to select any of them to send to a contact.She also isn't able to change her profile picture in BBM.She has done countless battery pulls and the issues stated still exists. she was however able to charge her phone without it shutting down this morning. But all other issues mentioned still exists.She is running the OS that came with her Phone 5.0.0.330. She had an issue with her Phone previously and when she took it into our service provider they had to downgrade her OS back to stock for it to function properly.If anyone has any solution to the problems stated please reply to this post. Any help would be deeply appreciated. If anyone has had a similar problem and was able to fix it please let me know what u did. Also if anyone has any solutions that they think may help please let me know.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI can't really seem to find the actual term, but the case is every time I unlock my phone the speakers seem to turn on for a moment, then shut down again, the problem is I always have the phone on vibrate, nevertheless this sound keeps appearing after doing certain actions, it's like a static noise, followed by a sound that resembles the speakers powering off. It's almost unhearable unless you pay attention, otherwise the speakers are flawless. Could fix some actions displaying it by going to settings, sound, and unticking pull-to-refresh sounds, however, the sound persists on unlocking screen.

After 6 Months of receiving the phone it developed a fault, i have returned it for repairs on a number of occasions and the reoccurring problem has never been solved & fixed . After eighteen months the phone will still not turn on and when it does work it turns off within one hour of it working, i have been to the Vodafone shop in Torquay South Devon and they supplied me with a new battery to try but it still switches itself off . I ave talked to Vodafone and i was told a fault has been found on this particular model of handset. After 24 months of having this contract phone i have now upgraded to a BlackBerry Torch . I would like to return the 9500 handset to get a free full repair or a replacement as i now need to use both phones. This phone has also had problems with freezing and locking up

Last week my iPhone froze and then it turned back on after 10 minutes, then the next day in school it just froze on the apple start up logo and it was getting really warm it turned off later because it ran out of battery. When I got home I charged it and it did the same all over again, and it still does it now, so I connected it to iTunes and tried to restore it but it says there's an error.

I try to turn my Iphone 4S off, i swip the "Turn off" bar, it turns off, then within seconds its turning itself back on. Why does this happen? Just got a new iPhone 4 the other day. I was charging the phone and it fell, only a couple feet at most. There is a small crack in the back of the phone now, and it won't turn on anymore. My friend has a iPhone 4 as well and we swapped out the battery and the back housing (just to make sure that the crack didnt short anything out) but the symptoms persist.
I have it plugged into the wall charger now, tried doing a hard reset (holding home and power for some time) but nothing. This is very frustrating to think that the iPhone 4 is this fragile. Does anyone have any suggestions that I could try to get this device back up and running? Any help at all would be very appreciated.
I just had to have Verizon send me my 3rd one since December cause mine keep shutting themselves off and then won't come back on at all. Then I changed batteries from the 1st phone that was left over and put it in the 2nd worked for a little while and then wouldn't send or receive messages or calls. I took the battery out and rebooted it again and I plugged into the computer and did an update and still nothing that's when all of a suddent it shut itself off and wouldn't come back on which is what the 1st one did. Is anyone else having this kind of trouble? Other than this I love my BB but this is the 1st one I have had and it isn't making a good first impression.

I use the auto on and off. I have only had the phone 2 weeks. The problem I have is that it turns it self off and when It should come on in the morning it fails to turn back on, now I plug my phone into power to find out the battery has drain through the night even when switch off, this is a massive pain because I use it has my alarm clock as well but bed cause of this problem the alarm isn't going off.

I usually only notice it when I attempt to place a call and get the 'radio connection off' message. When I attempt to restore the connection (via Quicklaunch) nothing happens. I've tried pulling the battery and uninstalling any recent apps I'd installed but to no avail.
