IPhone 4 :: Keeps Shutting Off Every Time When Not Plugged Into Charger
Jul 2, 2014
My ihpone4 keeps shutting off everytime it is not plugged in to a charger.
It has 100% battery so I know that the battery isn't "dead." I have pressed the home button and lock button together to restart the whole phone multiple times. Doesn't make a difference (and frankly that doesn't even work if not plugged in). Â
My iphone shuts off randomly even though it is fully charged. It then will not turn back on unless it is plugged into a power outlet. Is it the operating system or is the phone broken? It says I need to restore which I have already and I also have updated.
I just picked up the iPhone 3gs on Monday and have two questions that. Forgot to find out before I got the phone. I bought a white iPhone 3gs and wanted to know is the phone still plagued with overheating and discoloration problems? Second question I am wondering if I buy a mophie juice pack air a coupple of months would that negatively affect my battery on the iPhone. What I mean by this is I heard that aged four hundred complete charges and draining of the iPhone battery the phones battery only holds 80% of the charge it use to. My question is does using a charger help increase time it takes the iphont to reach 400 chargeres quicker than it would if I did not use the charger?
I have my iphone 4s plugged in my charger. I attempted to charge it using different wires and to no avail. My battery continues to drain. What should I do?
I replaced my batter on my iphone 3gs and then it will only turn on when i connect it to a power source. After it has turned on you can take it off charge and it will stay on...
I've noticed that when I use the TomTom app on my iPhone while plugged into my Griffin Powerjolt SE, the battery will actually drain. It seems to drain more slowly than when the iPhone isn't plugged in at all, but nevertheless it drains. From 100%, my phone recently dropped to about 75% for an hour and a half car ride. If I just leave the phone in sleep or playing the iPod, the phone charges. Is this something anyone else has observed? Is there a fix for this?
Also, I'm realizing now that I've always been plugging into the cigarette lighter since that's closest to the dash. Should I be plugging into the socket labeled 12V Power Port?
My 3gs will now only turn on if it is plugged into the wall charger. When it finally turns on, it gives me the "Requires Activation" message then a screen comes up that says plug phone into itunes. Plugged into my Mac Computer, and doesnt even recognize it. Also immediately after taking phone off wall charger, it shuts off.
My screen went black won't come back on when I plug the charger up it makes the sound like its charging but it makes the noise over and over... I have tried restarting the phone and nothing!
I am posting this thread for a friend who is having some serious issues with her BB 9700. It is a phone that was purchased from TMOBILE that was unlocked so that she can use with her Service provider. During this week gone, she plugged her bb into her PC and an error came up. the PC asked if to fix the error or contnue without scanning. She selected the latter. Then yesterday, when she plugged her phone in to charge it immediately shut off. After putting it back on she plugged it in again to charge and the same thing happened again. Since then, she is unable open her pictures in her media folder- She can only preview it.Also when she tries to send a picture via BBM she only sees two of the pictures that she has on her phone and is unable to select any of them to send to a contact. She also isn't able to change her profile picture in BBM.She has done countless battery pulls and the issues stated still exists. she was however able to charge her phone without it shutting down this morning. But all other issues mentioned still exists. She is running the OS that came with her Phone 5.0.0.330. She had an issue with her Phone previously and when she took it into our service provider they had to downgrade her OS back to stock for it to function properly. If anyone has any solution to the problems stated please reply to this post. Any help would be deeply appreciated. If anyone has had a similar problem and was able to fix it please let me know what u did. Also if anyone has any solutions that they think may help please let me know.

9700 Blackberry decided to turn itself off as it was plugged into the charger. Now it won't turn on fully. It gets 2/3rds of the way along the horizontal loading line then turns off . Red light comes on for a few seconds then the phone tries to start again and the process repeats. I've removed battery and sim but doesn't change anything.
After I came home from work yesterday I decided to go charge my BB, but unfortunately what would always happen was that whenever I plugged in the charger, a red light would appear to blink on my BB and it wouldn't turn on or work, I then decided to let it charge over night to see if that would do the trick. Later this morning I checked on my Torch again to find out that it wouldn't even turn on still. I tried connecting it to the computer to see if it could charge from there but no luck was found. do a quick pull out of the battery and put it back in to see if a reboot would fix the problem, no luck. They then told me to do the same thing, only this time when the red light appears I'd hold the space button so that the BB would boot into safe mode, no luck. He then told me too try to reload the OS of my BB through BB Desktop Manager. Too bad I couldn't even connect my handheld to my computer.
see if there's anything else that I could do that would fix my BB. Note that I'd like a way in which I don't need to wipe my BB's memory, since I haven't backed up the data yet(I just bought this 2 days ago). But if I have too, I will.

Is the S6 OK to leave phone plugged in even after full charge, for even long durations. For example overnight?I couldn't find a thread in s6 forums so I want to make sure the responses would apply to s6.
It's faint, but whenever I plug my phone into the charger, the charger makes this high pitched buzzing/whistling noise. I checked with multiple outlets and it does it for each one. Is this normal and/or safe? I just don't want the charger not be fully charging my battery, and have my overall battery life be affected, and I want to know if it's a safety issue.
After my battery reach 45-50% it shuts off automatically and when i plugged the charger the battery is at 0%. i replaced the battery already but i dont think it is a battery problem.
My Samsung Freeform will only go on when the charger is plugged in and then unless I;m pressing buttons and navigating the phone it turns off. It will not stay on with the charger plugged in nor will it charge. The phone was working fine when I took it back from an Ex-girlfriend.I took the battery out to get the ECN # and when I put it back in it wouldn't turn on. I also tried resetting the phone in the Menu > phone settings > security > reset phone but iy didn't make a difference.
I have an E815 that if set on Vibrate or Silent, when the charger is plugged in, it will change to LOUD. Is there a way to have it retain whatever ring style it is set at when the charger is plugged in?
A couple weeks ago the Xoom stopped charging. I took it to work to look at it and then it just started charging at work. I brought it home and it was charging again at home too. I thought it must have been some fluke. Only now it is doing it again. I have tried dozens of outlets, and they work for any other device but not for the Xoom. It won't charge.
I got dis phone off of ebay last friday. the phone was working fine until today. So this is wat happened i went to take my phone out the case cuz it was vibrating wen i pull it out it slipps out of my hand nd falls on the floor the backpiece came out the batterry came out. so it put everything bak in its place and the phone does not want to turn on. there is no light no anything i have it plugged to the charger but there is no responce. wat should i do?
