IPhone :: 4 Apps Closed Unexpectedly IOS 5.1
Apr 26, 2012I recently updated my iPhone 4 to iOS 5.1 version, and now all the apps are running for a while, but then are closed unexpectedly, I tried to restart my iPhone, then I tried to reset the iPhone and then restore the backed up configuration, but the problem persists. All the applications run only just for a moment.

Mar 6, 2011Mainly happens while on facebook mobile, and will occure while typing completely randomly. The reply from support is simply update software, I can't see why I have to do all this, as apart from anything else I don't currently have a phone line for internet due to illegal BT sales activity! It is also suggested that I send phone off in a jiffy bag to be repaired if unsuccessful, and what do I do for a phone in the mean time?? Not only that they suggest that it will cost me if it is not a fault they cover.

Jan 16, 2012I can be reading news on the web & my browser will tell me it's closing unexpectedly.I don't use facebook, twitter, or any social programs. I have updated software (even though phone didn't see the new firmware) & it didn't help. My 9800 only did this if I opened too many pages. Only 1 page runnning when this happens

Jun 6, 2011have a Xoom that is consistently force closing the browser when I visit certain javascript animation sites, including our own web site with animations.(Animations built using jquery 1.4.4 but tested on 1.6.1 as well.) These sites did not cause force closes previous to the Android 3.1 update. However, Adobe Flash support is also lost if OpenGL is disabled.

May 12, 2012I have had a Bold 9900 since April 2012, the battery life on it is incredibly short and my patience with it is beginning to match. For example, it was fully charged at 0930 this morning, and now at 17:50, the battery has a quater left.I have closed out of the internet, my apps are logged out, there is nothing running on it out of the ordinary, I dont understand what is happening. It has been like this since day 1. Initially I put it down to me using th ephone so much because it was my 'new toy' but now I rarely pick it up. I misplaced it today for approximately 4 hours so it had no use what so ever yet the battery is still nearly flat!

Aug 29, 2011Normally the tray stays on my home screen permanently with one row of icons, and when I open the tray the rest appear. I liked this setting and found it easy to manage. However, while playing about with whether to show 1 icon etc, when the tray is closed it completely collapses now? I've changed it back to default tray setting, but it still hasn't fixed? How do I fix this, without putting it back to factory settings? (as I have a number of txt messages that I need to keep saved).

Jun 22, 2010I upgraded my iphone 3gs to iOS4, all was fine i thought until i wanted to watch the french get knocked out the world cup using the itv world cup 2010 app i open the app, it then closes immediately! so i turn off phone, turned it back on then opened the app again, it attempts to open, then it closes after a couple of seconds
so i delete the app from the iphone, and also my itunes library. then i re-downloaded it.
synced my iphone and then checked the app again and it still WON'T open! so i tried my other apps and the only other one i can see that also closes upon opening is the BatteryDoctor Pro app which i paid for! is anyone else having this problem?

May 17, 2012About an hour ago my phone started acting weird. Everytime I tried to use the keyboard it closed whatever I was doign down (I was trying to send a text, but it closed down google and anything else I tried to experiment using the keyboard with).
So I tried turning it off and on again. Then I took the battery out for a couple of minutes (and put it back in)I was just thinking about a system reset when it stopped turning on. I get a couple of flashing red lights sometimes. Occasionally it turns on, same keyboard problem, black screen within a minute.
I try and use the PC companion to update the software, but it connects, then tells me to pull the bar down from the top and click connect - there is no bar. It's just the charging screen. Turning the phone back on disconnects it.

The big problem: while it is shut down, people can call me, and I never see it (the phone doesn't ring, and after openning it I see no missed calls. The I tried to reboot (press and hold Lock&Home buttons), then I tried to reset it (to factory settings) from the iTunes. It did not help. Can anybody give me a hint about what else should I try?

In my office, where are deployed 5 computers (one of this is a notebook), my phone reboots randomly as the battery would have been removed. Outside from this room it works perfectly well. It seems like some kind of noise interferes with the device.

I use Apple's iSync to synchronize contacts & calendar with Address Book and i Cal on my Mac PowerBook G4 running OSX Leopard.This morning, I synced the phone and computer as I always do, but got an error message that "Device synchronization failed" without further explanation. When I tried syncing again, I got a warning message that "The phone could not store some of your calendar events. The following events will not be synchronized:..." Concurrently, the phone showed the error message "Application Closed: CalendarServerThread". After wards, the phone calendar just shows up as blank and won't respond to input (I can't change the date, although I can access the menu). The calendar works again once I delete all entries.
I've done a full reset of the phone, yet the problem is still happening. Can anyone help me?
