I have a blackberry 8900. How do you connect to a closed network via ADSL? The wifi does connect to the router, and I am able to browse the net. The ADSL also allows access to a closed network, but I am unable to access the closed network.why? if i can access the internet via router, why can i not access the closed network?

I have an iPhone 3G that was working fine until a couple of weeks ago but now the Wi-Fi Network connection does not work with my Internet at home and presumeably also with other open Networks (say at the Cafes, Coaches etc.).

From time to time my N8(Belle) will not connect to my WiFi. When I look at the wifi-list my network is listed as "known", but not connected to. When I press on it the only options are Details and Delete the AP. I can't force the phone to connect to a specific AP, which would be nice.If I turn the phone off and on again, it finds the Wifi and connects to it just fine. But it really shouldn't be necessary to reboot it in the first place.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy phone connects to my home wifi network, but then when I go to open and use any app internet related, it doesn't work and says to check my connection. The sync icon in the top screen is constantly going, so I thought maybe it would have something to do with that (I am really not good with anything technology related so I don't know). I did a hard reset and nothing changed. Also, I am able to connect wirelessly on my laptop and other devices. It was honestly working one minute, not working the next. I didn't download or make any changes to anything on my phone.

I have uninstalled all apps and still no solution. I know others on here have had similar problems has a solution been found. I have switched the Wifi sleep to never. I have installed wifi fix which resolves it temporarily but then the connection falls off.

I did not have any problems with whatsapp at the beginning but when I tried to take a photo and send it, my bb rebooted and then I started having that problem. i tried adb, it says connection: closed.
so i tried fastboot oem unlock and suceeded
i try able to fastboot flash recovery.img to TWRP, but after flashed, the recovery is still stock recovery.
I go back to fastboot and saw unlock was not there anymore.
so why is the unlock doesn't stay and the flashing in fastboot doesn't get updated.?
I've recently bought a Nokia 5800 xm and have been able to connect it to my home internet using the wlan wifi.
I can only use the wifi if i go to settings>connectivity>wlan. If i go straight to internet, it tries to connect to t-mobile internet. This also happens when trying to use applications such as bbc iplayer and the ovi store.
Is there a way of setting the wifi connection as the default connection? If not, is there a way of setting up my applications so they connect using wifi?

I have Xperia Z2 D603 which I dropped and the back of it got cracked and now I have issues of network, my phone can't last even 10 min without losing the signal, and when I do have signal it is only 1 bar or 2 in the centre of city. It's happened before..But then I factory resetted my phone and it seemed alright for a couple of months but it then started back again today.Suddenly at some places I lose network signal (i.e. from my provider) and obviously it should come back when I go somewhere or whatever.But this time it won't even connect. I've shut down my phone, taken out the battery, taken out the SIM card..EVERYTHING. And I just can't seem to connect back to my network provider. (This isn't WI-FI I'm talking about - just basic network. I can't recieve texts, or anything - and everyone one in my house's network is working perfectly fine!)My phone runs on the original launcher and I only have a couple of apps on it (i.e. just normal whatsapp etc. - NO GAMES)It has about 500MB of free space on the SD Card too.

After disappearance of the indicator of a network it is impossible to make a call and to fulfil USSD-inquiry, while on other phone (other brand) with a SIM-card of the same operator the network works absolutely normally. The network appears only after device reboot, hand-held search of a network does not help even. Network miss is often observed at attempt to be connected to EDGE, also the signal can disappear and itself, without what or my operations, in a standby mode. Replacement of a SIM-card has not given any result. Phone works in a range 1800 MHz.
