I had an Iphone 4 that more times got the apps "big" and than I can't close it down...now I`ve got an iPhone 5 and thought that there would be no more problems, but this one is doing the same.
View 10 RepliesI recently updated my iPhone 4 to iOS 5.1 version, and now all the apps are running for a while, but then are closed unexpectedly, I tried to restart my iPhone, then I tried to reset the iPhone and then restore the backed up configuration, but the problem persists. All the applications run only just for a moment.

everyone noticed his after I installed the app called System which shows you running apps, disk procces, memory use and graphs it all out nicely.I noticed while having the System app open and double clickeing the home button to bring up the recently opened list, when I close them one by one I can see my free memory increasing.So does this mean that the apparently closed appe are still running and taking up memory space.I also noticed that in the procces window that maps is constantly running along with the phone process.

View 1 Replies View RelatedA Couple of days ago when I had my headphones in and was listening to music on pandora I switched to youtube to listen to something and when I do that pandora automatically stopped playing, like it's supposed to. I then closed the pandora app and was watching a youtube video. In the middle of the video my music from pandora started playing, when the app was closed. I pressed no buttons or anything to make it play that music. The app was closed. Since then it's been happening more often. Sometimes itll be my itunes music that will randomly started playing when I'm watching a youtube video, and the itunes app is closed. And I'll try to make it stop by opening and closing it again but then when I go to youtube it'll start playing again and I can't make it stop. Does this sound like some sort of water damage to my headphone jack or maybe a problem with my headphones?

For example, it was fully charged at 0930 this morning, and now at 17:50, the battery has a quater left.I have closed out of the internet, my apps are logged out, there is nothing running on it out of the ordinary, I dont understand what is happening. It has been like this since day 1. Initially I put it down to me using th ephone so much because it was my 'new toy' but now I rarely pick it up. I misplaced it today for approximately 4 hours so it had no use what so ever yet the battery is still nearly flat!

View 24 Replies View RelatedI upgraded my iphone 3gs to iOS4, all was fine i thought until i wanted to watch the french get knocked out the world cup using the itv world cup 2010 app i open the app, it then closes immediately! so i turn off phone, turned it back on then opened the app again, it attempts to open, then it closes after a couple of seconds
so i delete the app from the iphone, and also my itunes library. then i re-downloaded it.
synced my iphone and then checked the app again and it still WON'T open! so i tried my other apps and the only other one i can see that also closes upon opening is the BatteryDoctor Pro app which i paid for! is anyone else having this problem?
i think i have a bizzare problem, my business partners iphone will only recive emails when her outlook is closed.
we both have iphones and my emails send and recive fine. the only thing differnt is that i use outlook 2010 and she uses outlook 07 is there a setting i have over looked in outlook?

I just set up my yahoo email on nokia messaging all good so far but my phone keep syncing my email on each time i set even if email app is still closed, is that good?
I mean if i close the email app also the sync should be disabled right? but on my phone it still syncing even if email app is closed. This is annoing coz night i want to disable the email sync, i don't want to be waked by new emails sound.
How do you force an app closed on the 5800? I thought there was a way to navigate to an Options->Exit menu item after pressing and holding the Menu key for a list of running apps, but I can't seem to find it any more. Is it just me or did this change in the latest firmware update?

Close some applications and try again" n the maps app got closed. but my phone memory has abt 33 mb of free space n memory card has 1.2 gb.

View 2 Replies View RelatedAbout an hour ago my phone started acting weird. Everytime I tried to use the keyboard it closed whatever I was doign down (I was trying to send a text, but it closed down google and anything else I tried to experiment using the keyboard with).
So I tried turning it off and on again. Then I took the battery out for a couple of minutes (and put it back in)I was just thinking about a system reset when it stopped turning on. I get a couple of flashing red lights sometimes. Occasionally it turns on, same keyboard problem, black screen within a minute.
I try and use the PC companion to update the software, but it connects, then tells me to pull the bar down from the top and click connect - there is no bar. It's just the charging screen. Turning the phone back on disconnects it.

I use Apple's iSync to synchronize contacts & calendar with Address Book and i Cal on my Mac PowerBook G4 running OSX Leopard.This morning, I synced the phone and computer as I always do, but got an error message that "Device synchronization failed" without further explanation. When I tried syncing again, I got a warning message that "The phone could not store some of your calendar events. The following events will not be synchronized:..." Concurrently, the phone showed the error message "Application Closed: CalendarServerThread". After wards, the phone calendar just shows up as blank and won't respond to input (I can't change the date, although I can access the menu). The calendar works again once I delete all entries.
I've done a full reset of the phone, yet the problem is still happening. Can anyone help me?
My BB torch 9800 browser gets closed automatically as I enter text in field for facebook or twitter. Also, the text field gets blue and i can only enter text upto certain characters not even a complete line and browser gets closed.
