is there anyway to change the in call settings on a BlackBerry Curve 9320?Everytime after I answer a call I keep hitting the mute button by accident? Is there anyway I can remove or change this?
View 1 RepliesI have just got a Curve 9320 for my 'tweenage' son and obviously wanted to set up some parental controls. However, it appears that the only setting there is on the phone is to completely block browser access, which somewhat defeats the object of getting him a contract that includes unlimited data. I have installed an app that can monitor phone usage, including logging websites visited - this works brilliantly on my Android phone but apparently the website tracker function won't work with Blackberrys. Is there any way of either restricting website access or tracking websites that he has visited (even though he may have already deleted browsing history)?

View 24 Replies View RelatedI was trying to get this new Facebook Places working and did something that seemed to work for a few 8520 users - Update the OS through the Desktop Software. I updated to the latest one and when I go Options > Advanced Options > Location Settings (It used to be GPS Settings or something similar, not Location Settings) I used to get GPS none and be able to switch my Location Services off and on. Since updating, I only get GPS none and Location Services off, no option to change either.
BB Maps used to find my location fine, Foursquare was good at finding very nearby locations so it must work using something other than GPS. I've updated everything only to try and get bloody FB Places working and it's not even worth it, I can't even use BB Maps now!I've tried re-installing maps and Foursquare but neither can find my location anymore so I believe it was something to do with the update.
Call forwarding Curve absoluty will not take a new number all I can do is turn forwarding off or use the phone number that is in the drop down menu in the last step.

When I change the email server on the adavanced options I got an error that says something like: error connecting with the server. And the change I did is not saved. I need to do this because my email is not been hosted with my domain.

Also I cannot view my network and connections to see whether my data service is turned on. I am currently not receiving data on my device. This is alarming as I spent a small fortune to acquire this device today. Again I discovered to my horror the earpiece jack does not hold in the port of my device and unable to listen to music via handsfree. The options icon on the home screen does not open at all when I touch it.Instead it freezes. Same with the network and connections options under network connections.

After installing I have some problems like - While on call the options (Spkr, Mute, Hold, Add Participant) on the screen are being disappeared and some times the screen get struck-up for long time without any response.
And to resolve the above problems temporarily I am hard rebooting mobile. Just now I removed OS and reinstalled OS 6 to fix this problem, hope it will fix those bugs.

I am facing an issue with my phone/call options, when I want to search a contact from my phone/call options (rather than contacts page) the keypad doesn't pop-up. So all the way I need to goto contacts page in Extras to place a call.Â

This is very frustrating! My phone has recently started ringing when I'm receiving incoming call but the screen remains idle and doesn't display who's calling. It also doesn't display the answer/ignore options and will continue to ring until I switch the phone off! I have also been receiving 'Unknown' calls from known numbers too.
I have looked through your forums and have read the Settings/Personalisation/Manage Notifications fix. I am in the UK however and my settings don't appear to have these options at all. I am a carer for my 2 year old daughter and depend on my phone for doctor/hospital appointments, physio, emergencies etc. I have a few months left on the contract and if I am very tempted to settle contract early as the phone is no use to me while it is doing this.
I had this problem previously and was waiting for Lollipop thinking it will get solved, but it looks like I might have a faulty proximity sensor. When I'm in a call, sometimes I hear the sound of pressing a button, and when I take the phone away from my ear to check what happened, I keep finding the Notification Panel open with different options activated / deactivated. Sometimes I find it directly in Settings, in Battery Usage, in Date/Time, I think it depends on which option is pressed in the Notification Panel.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to use standard 3.5mm jack headphones on my curve. However for a start they don't seem to fit very well (they don't go all the way down). Secondly when in all they way all I get is a kind of a low clicking noise. If I pull the connector out slightly I can just about get it to play but the sound quality is poor. Does this ring any bells? Same thing happens with multiple headphones and whether I'm playing an MP3 or using the radio. The OS is 7.10 bundle 1319.

My phone is currently completely dead, and has been for 1 day now and I have tried multiple chargers. Location services are on and GPS is set to Device, I refresh the GPS and it fails to locate. Doesn't matter whether I'm inside or out, it times-out and fails.
I've tried the GPS diagnostics and it just says the same thing; that it couldn't find my location. My network supports GPS as I used it on my old 9300, so I'm a little stumped.
Also, BlackBerry maps refuses to search, just saying 'Unknown Error'. Possibly connected?
I bought a curve 9320 with which i got a 6 months free Black berry services ( BBS).For the activation of BBS i have sent a msg BBSFREE at 121 but my services is not activated.After calling in customer care they told me that they have activated my services on their hand and told me that you will have to register your phone to avail services.I donno how to register phone to activate my BBS.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm having issues pairing my device (9320) with my new Blackberry Playbook. The software on my phone is 7.1 Bundle 2039. I can pair both devices together through Blackberry Bridge but it shows that I've recieved new emails but doesnt let me open them.
I paired the Playbook with a friends phone (9360) which operates on a different system 7.1 Bundle 1133. And this works fine and we can access the emails and the device and playbook work fine.
I just got dis BB curve and I noticed it didn't ring for long.so I took another fone and called my number.I could hear it ringing on d other fone but my BB wasn't ringing,not even an incoming call alert till about the third ring.I tried with several phones and the same thing happened.it annoys me coz by the tym my BB rings and I have 2 pick up,the caller is hanging up coz it rang for long.
