BB Style :: BBM Not Working Today?
Sep 16, 2011Anybody know what is going on with BBM today? I was receiving this morning by my sent messages do not look as if they are being sent. The check mark appears but no D or R.

IPhone :: Blacksnow Quit Working Today
Apr 19, 2010Yesterday my cell service dropped has it has been doing every once in a while lately except that this time around I had to reboot the my iphone unlocked 3gs (3.1.3) for it to come back. Today it did it again, I rebooted, the service never came back and my wifi went away.
I used to have the wifi problem before so I uninstalled blacksn0w and it came back. How ever, even after several attempts at reinstalling blacksn0w and several reboots in between, my cell service is gone for good.
Any advice? This has never happened to me before, I am ready to unjailbreak and start all over again, but I would rather not.
Also, every time I install blacksn0w now the phone says " Searching..." and my wifi stops working. It is also worth noting that I have not installed anything new at all on my phone lately.
Anyone have any wisdom for me?

May 14, 2011I have a blackberry style, 9670 and i can't dial using numbers the only number that works is 0.when i want to make an outgoing call i can only call people that are in my contacts. So in order for me to call someone who isn't in my contacts i need to add them to my contacts which i don't exactly want to keep adding every number to my phone book, it's annoying.

Nov 13, 2010I've recently purchased the Style 9670 and am having an issue with MMS. With my old BB Pearl, there was a specific menu option to send an MMS (vs SMS), and there were folders for In/Out Box for MMS messages in the "View Folder" option under messages. The Style advertises that it can send MMS, and I have In/Out Box messages for MMS in my Folder View (in the Messages application), but there is absolutely no menu option that I can find anywhere to send an MMS message. It's not under "Messages" and it's not under "Text Messages". It also appears that I cannot receive a MMS. I'm not talking about just sending a picture or video via text. With the Pearl, MMS allowed you to send a text greater than 160 characters. I am on a BB Enterprise server at work, and my IT guy doesn't think its security settings that are interfering. Sprint says I'm on the correct data (BES) plan.

Jan 12, 2012Just before Christmas I download the newest version of BB app world. Version 3.1.056. As soon as it was done I wanted to check it out.I started the app, went through some of the required entries and then got to the legal page where you need to agree or disagree. Well of course I agreed.The paged said please wait (Hour glass) and voila I'm back at the agreement page. Humm, okay let's agree again, and again, and again, and again. Well it appears my clicking of agree doesn't register as an "AGREE" so I think the update didn't work right.
Delete the app and download it again, and again and again, and still unable to get pass the legal agreement page. Okay lets email BlackBerry support for help. weeks later I have no reply.
Currently I have no App world loaded on my phone and I'm looking for an older version to download for now so I can download apps.
BB Style :: Visual Voicemail Not Working
Jul 20, 2011When I get a notification for a visual voicemail, I get told that I can't download whatever needed to be downloaded and that I have to call my voice mail to retrieve my messages. How do I set the visual up correctly then and what am supposed to have downloaded?

I just replaced the phone after having the old one "reset" at a Sprint store. The problem was rectified for a while then returned. Feb 20, 2012So I have had my BB Style for almost one year. I have not had a problem with it until recently. Without downloading any new apps, i was all of a sudden needing to charge my phone at least twice a day. Furthermore BBM stopped working along with most of my apps. Lastly I was not receiving any emails on my phone either (recently received all of them yesterday from several days ago). Does this tend to happen when the battery needs to be replaced? I did reboot my phone and noticed my battery was running on the warm side.

Apr 9, 2012I have the BlackBerry Style, and am with Telus. I haven't upgraded to the newest OS but I have the one right before the current one. I have lots of free space on my phone and have no other apps than the ones that were installed on default.I have had absolutely no problems with my phone at all since day one, on Febuary 2011, until this evening when I came home from easter dinner and opened my phone (it was at half battery) and it made a beep and all of the displays went black and the keyboard light went off. I tried rebooting with removing the battery and placing it back in but nothing happened. I plugged it into my charger and I got a little red/orange light on the top right corner and left it for a half hour.
I returned after that and opened it to see if it reset and the internal and extrenal screens were black, no light on the keyboard, and the light had gone out when I took the charger out. Thinking it may have just been turned off I tried the power button to no avail, and then tried the battery reset again with the same results. I have tried this a few times now and the closest thing I have had to see it working is on the internal screen a little grey picture in the center of a battery with a lightning bolt in the middle, which is also grey. I assumed that it may have just been dead and was not getting power so I plugged it in when I saw the image and it just stayed like that for another hour until I tried to reset it once again. Nothing seems to be working. It doesn't make any noises or anything, it is almost as if all power to the LCD screens and keyboard is dead, but foor some reason, sometimes the light on the top right corner of the external screen will stay solid.

Dec 23, 2010I never had any problems with the Tour automatically rebooting when making/receiving a call when it is or isn't connected to Bluetooth. For the last few months, the phone will reboot as soon as I connect to a call. I don't think it's my car's Bluetooth since I never had an issue before but it's extremely annoying especially when I really need to make the call and it takes forever to reboot.

Jun 16, 2010Due to some AT&T glitch I was one of the few that couldn't pre-order until about 5 hours ago. Now the iPhone is only shipping by July 14th. If I go ahead and order one on Apple's website for my line will I still be able to wait in line on launch day and buy a phone for that same line (with my upgrade) or will I then be forced to pay the $599/$699 price point (due to me having already ordered one on Apple's site)?
Right now I'm eligible for the $199/$299 price point.

Jul 22, 2010I ordered the Defender for my Iphone 4 2 days ago and got it today - That's fast shipping (paid for 3 day shipping).I love this case, but having never owned one of these cases in the past, I was instantly overwhelmed with how to break it down to put the phone into it. The directions are pictures on the inside of the box and not very clear. This is my only complaint.I eventually figured it out and I can tell you it is the best case I have ever owned. It does add bulk, but it has a nice tactile feel to it and access to all ports. The incuded holster with belt clip is rock soild. If I knew how to upload pictures here, I would post some.

Aug 11, 2010I got a new N97 mini yesterday to replace my N97 original. Its having way to many issues.Anyway, after updating the Ovi Maps application on the phone I tried to synch my Ovi Maps favorites as I have done many times before. The process starts, but then just stops 10% on the way giving the message "Synch was not completed". I tried with my old N97 and the same message there. Which leads me to think its the service and not my devices.I live in Norway, so maybe its a regional thing, but if you guys can just make a quick test and se if you can sync your ovi maps favorites today. Or if you get the same error message as me.

The Tour from Verizon has the same two themes that the Curve 2 has with one MAJOR difference. I can not find the "Today" option on the Tour. On the curve it is as simple as going to the layout option, but I can not find this option on the Tour. What am I missing? Is there a trick, or did they really not add a Today feature to the defaults for the Tour?
