I have a blackberry style, 9670 and i can't dial using numbers the only number that works is 0.when i want to make an outgoing call i can only call people that are in my contacts. So in order for me to call someone who isn't in my contacts i need to add them to my contacts which i don't exactly want to keep adding every number to my phone book, it's annoying.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've recently purchased the Style 9670 and am having an issue with MMS. With my old BB Pearl, there was a specific menu option to send an MMS (vs SMS), and there were folders for In/Out Box for MMS messages in the "View Folder" option under messages. The Style advertises that it can send MMS, and I have In/Out Box messages for MMS in my Folder View (in the Messages application), but there is absolutely no menu option that I can find anywhere to send an MMS message. It's not under "Messages" and it's not under "Text Messages". It also appears that I cannot receive a MMS. I'm not talking about just sending a picture or video via text. With the Pearl, MMS allowed you to send a text greater than 160 characters. I am on a BB Enterprise server at work, and my IT guy doesn't think its security settings that are interfering. Sprint says I'm on the correct data (BES) plan.
View 5 Replies View RelatedSpace bar problem does not end with stop working here and there, my brother has a E71 and he can use space bar in home screen for searching the contact names, which makes it much much easier but in E72 u can't use it because it becomes Symbol botton instead "WEIRD"
example: if you have a name like: Megan Fox (YOU WISH) - in E71 write " m (space) f" and there you go buy with E72 if you hit space bar the Symbol block pups up " WEIRD " so you only can search eather first or last name "BAD"...i tested this on few E72s (i made sure it's not only mine)DO SOMETHING Nokia !! we (Nokia fans) are getting beat up, it's been so long and E72 really needs an UPDATE!!!!!
Just before Christmas I download the newest version of BB app world. Version 3.1.056. As soon as it was done I wanted to check it out.I started the app, went through some of the required entries and then got to the legal page where you need to agree or disagree. Well of course I agreed.The paged said please wait (Hour glass) and voila I'm back at the agreement page. Humm, okay let's agree again, and again, and again, and again. Well it appears my clicking of agree doesn't register as an "AGREE" so I think the update didn't work right.
Delete the app and download it again, and again and again, and still unable to get pass the legal agreement page. Okay lets email BlackBerry support for help. weeks later I have no reply.
Currently I have no App world loaded on my phone and I'm looking for an older version to download for now so I can download apps.
When I get a notification for a visual voicemail, I get told that I can't download whatever needed to be downloaded and that I have to call my voice mail to retrieve my messages. How do I set the visual up correctly then and what am supposed to have downloaded?

I just replaced the phone after having the old one "reset" at a Sprint store. The problem was rectified for a while then returned. I just got a new phone and after a few days, I'm having the same problem.

Without downloading any new apps, i was all of a sudden needing to charge my phone at least twice a day. Furthermore BBM stopped working along with most of my apps. Lastly I was not receiving any emails on my phone either (recently received all of them yesterday from several days ago). Does this tend to happen when the battery needs to be replaced? I did reboot my phone and noticed my battery was running on the warm side.
View 1 Replies View RelatedJust recently my voice-dial over my bluetooth stopped working - when I hit the button on my headset, all it does it redial the last number I had dialed. I'm not aware of any phone updates since it last worked. I've powered the phone off and on and still no luck. It was bad enough when I had to "wake it up" in order to use it. This is very frustrating - when I'm driving, I'm on the highway. I'm not stopping regularly for traffic lights so I can dial!

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have the BlackBerry Style, and am with Telus. I haven't upgraded to the newest OS but I have the one right before the current one. I have lots of free space on my phone and have no other apps than the ones that were installed on default.I have had absolutely no problems with my phone at all since day one, on Febuary 2011, until this evening when I came home from easter dinner and opened my phone (it was at half battery) and it made a beep and all of the displays went black and the keyboard light went off. I tried rebooting with removing the battery and placing it back in but nothing happened. I plugged it into my charger and I got a little red/orange light on the top right corner and left it for a half hour.
I returned after that and opened it to see if it reset and the internal and extrenal screens were black, no light on the keyboard, and the light had gone out when I took the charger out. Thinking it may have just been turned off I tried the power button to no avail, and then tried the battery reset again with the same results. I have tried this a few times now and the closest thing I have had to see it working is on the internal screen a little grey picture in the center of a battery with a lightning bolt in the middle, which is also grey. I assumed that it may have just been dead and was not getting power so I plugged it in when I saw the image and it just stayed like that for another hour until I tried to reset it once again. Nothing seems to be working. It doesn't make any noises or anything, it is almost as if all power to the LCD screens and keyboard is dead, but foor some reason, sometimes the light on the top right corner of the external screen will stay solid.
How do I get my trackpad to operate again? I stays stuck on one app and I cannot move it around to select other apps. Cannot access contacts or e-mails.

For the last few months, the phone will reboot as soon as I connect to a call. I don't think it's my car's Bluetooth since I never had an issue before but it's extremely annoying especially when I really need to make the call and it takes forever to reboot.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI recently got a Galaxy S6 and noticed that when I swipe to call the phone does nothing on the first try (except for showing the green bar with the words "call"). Sometimes it opens the calling screen for a millisecond but then reverts back to contacts. On the second try however it does connect the call. The same happens when I'm in the phone dialer. I'll type in the number, press dial and then it just goes back to the dial screen as if I didn't type in anything. After typing in the number and pressing dial a second time does the phone actually call the number.
It also sometimes happen that the phone will call (showing calling), but the call never connects. After ending the call and redialing does the call go through and connect.
