BB Storm :: Dial Pad Is Not Responding, Only "0" Is Working?
Feb 12, 2012In BB the dial pad is not responding, only "0" is working no other keys are responding like 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9...rest of tuch screen is working fine.

All of the 12 buttons are shown on the screen, but buttons 1 through 9 and * and # do not work when they are selected and pressed down.The "0+" key still works and shows the 0 in the number display when selected and pressed down.

Jan 22, 2010Today the dialing features on my relatively new (summer 2009) Storm started going strange. When in the phone dialing screen, if I press and hold a number key with an associated speed dial number, the phone would dial another number elsewhere on the speed dial list (e.g. press and hold "3" made the phone speed dial the phone number assigned to "5"). After removing and replacing the battery and rebooting, the trouble didn't clear.In fact, things got stranger. The phone would not dial voicemail when the "1" key was held down (even though the speed dial list still listed the correct number, etc.) When I cleared and tried to refill my speed dial list, no number keys on the keypad would make the speed dial spring into action. But, pressing and holding the "3" key did make the phone ask if I wished to assign a speed dial to the number "5" as though that were the key I'd been pressing.Suggestions?

Dec 31, 2010I've acquired the handset yesterday and I have tried the "card in front battery trick" but nothing works, the four knobs on the button and the knobs on the side works, everything is visible with the screen it is showing everything just perfect and it isn't "sticking" or "laggy" but when I touch the screen it just isn't responding no matter where I touch it and also how hard I press.

I use an application which some times would not respond and can't be close from the menu as the menue is not pop up when i press the bb key. When this app stucks touch screen won't work fine and when am pressing an icon, phone highlights another icon.
Is there any method to close this stuck app other than removing the battary.

Apr 12, 2011I am desperate for some kind of help or advice, my bb storm 2 9550 screen is not responding, i can't get to access any of my applications on the phone. the only thing that works is the power on n off button, i tried taking the battery out n even reloading the phone but nothing works. i am missin all my calls, can;t get to read my messages or mails and this is driving me nuts. i live in the caribbean, the phone was bought in the u.s, my carrier presently is GT&T but in the u.s it works with Verizon wireless.

May 14, 2011I have a blackberry style, 9670 and i can't dial using numbers the only number that works is 0.when i want to make an outgoing call i can only call people that are in my contacts. So in order for me to call someone who isn't in my contacts i need to add them to my contacts which i don't exactly want to keep adding every number to my phone book, it's annoying.

Feb 5, 2010Space bar problem does not end with stop working here and there, my brother has a E71 and he can use space bar in home screen for searching the contact names, which makes it much much easier but in E72 u can't use it because it becomes Symbol botton instead "WEIRD"
example: if you have a name like: Megan Fox (YOU WISH) - in E71 write " m (space) f" and there you go buy with E72 if you hit space bar the Symbol block pups up " WEIRD " so you only can search eather first or last name "BAD"...i tested this on few E72s (i made sure it's not only mine)DO SOMETHING Nokia !! we (Nokia fans) are getting beat up, it's been so long and E72 really needs an UPDATE!!!!!

Oct 20, 2011Just recently my voice-dial over my bluetooth stopped working - when I hit the button on my headset, all it does it redial the last number I had dialed. I'm not aware of any phone updates since it last worked. I've powered the phone off and on and still no luck. It was bad enough when I had to "wake it up" in order to use it. This is very frustrating - when I'm driving, I'm on the highway. I'm not stopping regularly for traffic lights so I can dial!

Bolt works for me but browser does not. I can't even change my default browser to browser anymore or even change it to bolt. It just gives me option of hotspot and web2go. How do I fix this problem? Going to HRT and registering still will not give me my browser back or the option to pick it as default browser like I previously had.

Nov 1, 2011I am facing the same issue on my 5 day old 9900. The touch screen just stopped working on the 2nd day & it has come up since then. I have tried the following to correct the issue but, no success:
1. Cold Reboot (Pull battery when device is on)
2. Simple Reboot (Pull battery when device is OFF)
3. Remove battery then, SIM & SD Card, plug in battery then pull it again & put everything back in
None of these worked, my OS version is v7.0.0.261 Bundle 1346 Platform 5.0.0.464 Should I update my phone software? Each time I try to check for an upgrade it says you have the latest one.

May 16, 2010I've seen a few posts like this but nothing recently. I have a mere 3 BB Msgr contacts, all of which have worked fine the last several months. Suddenly this week, I cannot communicate with one contact, but can with the others. Re-inviting problem contact via email or PIN does not work - invitation never received. Also tried being invited by other BB contact, I never receive the invite. Have tried the trouble shooting described (deleted pending invites, battery reboot, reinvite) to no avail. Now I have stopped getting messages from other 2 BB contacts and am wondering if they have suddenly stopped working also.Any ideas how to fix, and why this drop-off would occur?

Sep 3, 2011Ok so I just got the droid phone called the Atrix and after setting up my applications I then tried going to my photo gallery supplied on the phone to look through my photos, but when clicking on the gallery it acts as if it is loading, but then a notifications pops up that says "Sorry Activity Gallerys is not responding." I dont understand why it is saying that or how to fix it seeing as how this phone is BRAND NEW!!! I do know that my memory card did have alot of photos saved on it but I dont see how that should matter!!! If I go to my files and then click on the different folders that hold my photos I am able to get to them but not through the gallery

Why doesn't the browser and BBM work with my new Storm? Do I need to contact Fido so that they can put the Storm's pin in their system or something?
