I have had my Phone for 1 1/2 years yesterday the headphone jack stopped working. I tried master reboot, different head phones nothing works is it a phone issue or a software issue?
View 3 RepliesI have an Atrix 4g and my friend gave me his Iphone 4s Headphones.It can play music just fine but I want more functionality out of it.
I'm too cheap to buy new headphones. On the iphone headphones there is a 2 button controller (+ and -) that does not work.I would like it to control my Atrix volume and perhaps select the next/previous track.I went to the marketplace and tested that app "Headset button controller" but it doesn't work.Is there any other way for me to get the full functionality out of these iphone 4s headphones?
When I try to use the radio feature with my jaybird freedom bt headphones and says to plug in headphones to listen to radio. Will this not work?

View 8 Replies View RelatedSome keys in the keyboard don't work in my Atrix. Keys y, h, and b to be specific. I tried 3 different keyboards. The keys work OK when flipped horizontal. This makes me wonder if its a hardware problem as the keys y,b, and h are in a almost straight line on the keyboard.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI'm currently using software version 2.3.6 (GINGERBREAD) and my phone keeps telling me that my phone is ready to update to 67.21.125.en.US (ICE CREAM SANDWICH - US). I am able to download it, and when it restarts my phone the little android unpacking symbol shows up like it is installing just fine. When it finishes all the normal startup screens are displayed, but when the phone is ready to use, it says update failed. I'm not sure why this is happening. I've tried it while charging, while not charging, while on WIFI, while using only cell data, while in airplain mode, and every other way I can think of. Motorolla even lists it as being available to update as of October 12th this year, but I'm still not able to get it working.

Facebook messages do not load through Atrix's Motoblur's messaging widget. The updates seem to be fine, though the contact's pictures do not come up. I deleted group messages from my Facebook homepage (not all of them, just the visible ones on the front page) and I also checked my IMEI, but still nothing.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've had my Atrix for a couple of months now and I noticed this problem back within the first 30 days but thought it was an issue with our network at work..ie the wrong password. After getting our tech guys to set the right password I have tried to connect to the WiFi at work but it gets to the point of obtaining an IP address and disconnects. I know the password is right because my co workers newish laptop will connect and another coworkers Iphone 3GS will connect.
My Atrix will connect at home, Applebees guest and the local hospitals guest connection. The work connection is secured with WPA/WPA2 PSK according to my phone. It's a small work place and really the only person that would every use the connection would be me and honestly I'm a little peeved that I can't get it to connect. The routers are probably about 3 years old so I'm not sure what that would have on them but they should work just fine with this phone. I can't really log into the routers and change anything there because of some other things that are networked into the system. Are there any setting I can change in my phone that might force it to work?
I just got the car dock, which I really like (I had one of my original Atrix 4G) I was wondering if anyone had a recomendation for a protective case for the phone that will work with the car dock. I prefer the thinner silicon varity, buy I really want one that will fit with the car dock. Looking at the dock there seems to be a removable insert to be able to accomodate a thicker case.

Any advice how to make it work as it's not safe to unlocked the phone while driving and make a call (though true the data of the phone is much more safer than the driver now!)
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a few problems with the Atrix 2 and curious if others see these things.First...I really like this phone. I like the size, the weight, the speed, the apps, etc. was annoying enough that I decided to use my bluetooth headset. The sound improved immeasurably by doing that. But, I noticed that while at work, listening to music, that I couldn't turn on wifi while I had bluetooth engaged. The music would haltingly play, like a skipping disk, until, finally, after about 30 seconds it stops altogether. As soon as I turned off wifi, the bluetooth playing would reengage where it left off and play perfectly.I also notice that with the plugged in mic or with my bluetooth headphones connected, if a call comes in while I'm listening to something, about 1/2 the time, the phone wouldn't ring or vibrate.
View 4 Replies View RelatedThe app works normally in portrait mode (showing artists or songs or whatever I choose) but when I flip it to landscape mode, it just shows the blank grey/blue screen that is the background on the music app home page (where you can choose now playing, library, internet radio, etc.) and it just sits there... doesn't load anything at all.
This is an exceptionally frustrating problem for me as I use my Atrix with an HD dock and the cardock (meaning I have to basically unmount my phone from the car dock to get a different artist. If I use the (useless) music launcher in the cardock home page, I can get to the now playing screen and pick the "smart DJ" button to get a new list of songs, but it'd be really nice if I could choose an artist I wanted to listen to (or a playlist, or a song for that matter) without having to take my phone out of the cardock, flip it to portrait mode, and then place it back in the cardock (quite dangerous while driving I might add)
My volume buttons no longer work on my Moto Atrix phone. I was thinking about taking apart my phone but taking off the back does not make it any easier to get to where the volume buttons are.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a Pattern Setup as my lock screen for my phone, and 2 out of the 3 times I try to unlock it, it doesn't work. I try to drag the pattern out, but it thinks i lifted my finger and the lines go red, like when you guess the wrong pattern, and the lines go crazy, shooting to random dots on the lock screen, making it very tempremental. When this occurs i just click the lock button to shut the screen off, and then try again. Even after I do this, it still won't work and the lock screen will go crazy.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have set my Wifi Sleep Policy to "Never", because i like to strem my music with DLNA App to my HiFi, and i'm also downloading with Torrent App some TV Shows.Music Streamin works fine with Original DLNA app from Atrix, but only until the Display turns off. Then it stoped everything.I also set DLNA to never sleep and i also tried Battery set to "Performace". It simply doesn't work.With Torrent app from the Market also the same problem. I tried several apps. After the display is turned off there are no transfers.I own also Samsung Galaxy Tablet. With this device i don't have any of these problems.The funny thing is that the original DLNA app from Atrix simply don't stream the music after the display turnes off.

When I use voice control, the lines are up and down (almost like there is some type of noise) even though I am not speaking into it. Speakers are working, whether it's from music or using the phone. I've tried turning the phone on/off and it still does not work. Not sure what else to do. I just recently bought these headphones approx 4-5 months ago.

Anyone having problems with the n8 headphones. For 600 USD, i'm not impressed with the sound quality. The buttons do not work and it sounds like all the music is being played in a tunnel.
