When checking for system update, all I get is perpetual checking for update... it doesn't give you the up to date message anymore. Have tried #35468# for log in, but no help. Thought service updates were still being supported?

My GPS worked splendidly for about a year with the Droid X. Now it really doesn't work at all. On Google Maps the circle never goes below a kilometer, and even with that it is usually wrong. When I try and use it to Navigate, it never tells me where to turn and I get lost because it isn't getting a signal.
I checked, and all settings were on for GPS. I restarted the phone and pulled the battery. I installed GPS Status and tried to Manage A-GPS state. First I reset, and that didn't work. Then I Downloaded and that didn't work either. The app thinks it is doing something but no satellites show up and the radar even outdoors and even not moving.
My home button doesn't work anymore. how to make it work again?

I have a few problems with the Atrix 2 and curious if others see these things.First...I really like this phone. I like the size, the weight, the speed, the apps, etc. was annoying enough that I decided to use my bluetooth headset. The sound improved immeasurably by doing that. But, I noticed that while at work, listening to music, that I couldn't turn on wifi while I had bluetooth engaged. The music would haltingly play, like a skipping disk, until, finally, after about 30 seconds it stops altogether. As soon as I turned off wifi, the bluetooth playing would reengage where it left off and play perfectly.I also notice that with the plugged in mic or with my bluetooth headphones connected, if a call comes in while I'm listening to something, about 1/2 the time, the phone wouldn't ring or vibrate.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a Pattern Setup as my lock screen for my phone, and 2 out of the 3 times I try to unlock it, it doesn't work. I try to drag the pattern out, but it thinks i lifted my finger and the lines go red, like when you guess the wrong pattern, and the lines go crazy, shooting to random dots on the lock screen, making it very tempremental. When this occurs i just click the lock button to shut the screen off, and then try again. Even after I do this, it still won't work and the lock screen will go crazy.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have set my Wifi Sleep Policy to "Never", because i like to strem my music with DLNA App to my HiFi, and i'm also downloading with Torrent App some TV Shows.Music Streamin works fine with Original DLNA app from Atrix, but only until the Display turns off. Then it stoped everything.I also set DLNA to never sleep and i also tried Battery set to "Performace". It simply doesn't work.With Torrent app from the Market also the same problem. I tried several apps. After the display is turned off there are no transfers.I own also Samsung Galaxy Tablet. With this device i don't have any of these problems.The funny thing is that the original DLNA app from Atrix simply don't stream the music after the display turnes off.

Then I get a "Device Management is running" notification in my notification tray until I go into my tuning apps and force quit "HTCdm." It happens time after time, I've tried soft and hard restarting the phone.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm currently using software version 2.3.6 (GINGERBREAD) and my phone keeps telling me that my phone is ready to update to 67.21.125.en.US (ICE CREAM SANDWICH - US). I am able to download it, and when it restarts my phone the little android unpacking symbol shows up like it is installing just fine. When it finishes all the normal startup screens are displayed, but when the phone is ready to use, it says update failed. I'm not sure why this is happening. I've tried it while charging, while not charging, while on WIFI, while using only cell data, while in airplain mode, and every other way I can think of. Motorolla even lists it as being available to update as of October 12th this year, but I'm still not able to get it working.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI updated my Blackberry 8900 Curve over the weekend to v5.0.0.1036(Platform 5.2.0.104) Provider is [URL] This updated was offered when connecting my device to BlackBerry Desktop Application.
After this update successfully took place I discovered the problem that the upper top right button (usually used to mute) does not send my device to standby anymore when being pressed longer than 3 seconds. This function worked perfectly prior to this update. Unfortunately I did not know on what version I was before, but as I`m doing updates on a more of less regular base I assume it was the prior available one.
Together with this problem I discovered something that is also working different than before. When I press the keyboard lock button (upper top left button) the lock now gets activated directly and the screen turns black. Before this update took place the owner details were showing up when pressing this button and the screen turns dark after the defined time to go off. The owner details are added correctly and show up when going to properties-owner.
I did a secure delete (security options - security delete) of the device and started from scratch twice already, but the problem remains the same.
Is there any way to get at least the standby working again. I´m using an case-mate holster with build in battery allow me to recharge my BB when no power plug is avail. Unfortunately this one does not have a magnet that send the device to standby automatically when plugged into the holster, so this manual standby option is important for me to extend battery life.

Just did an OS upgrade on my 9800 when I saw an upgrade alert on BlackBerry Desktop Software.The OS after upgrade is 6.0 bundle 2342 (v6.0.0.526 platform 6.6.0.195)Now when I run my application to do the voice record (WAV format, not AMR ), I keep getting an error "Requested bitrate is not supported", I tried different bitrate (8000,16000, 44100, 48000....), none of them supported.I used to use bitrate=8000 for recording and it worked, but now it throw above exception.I even change encoding bit from 16 to 8bit, channel from 1 to 2, didn't work.

After installing the phone from the box all worked fine. Then suddenly message reminder stopped working despite all the settings are correct. After a complete reset (factory settings) all worked fine again for a few days and now again message reminder is not working.
