Has anyone managed to get Skype contact sync to work with their Atrix? I added the Skype account but it doesn't seem to synchronize any contacts. I've also had the account mysteriously vanish from the list of accounts.how to get this working?

View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a few problems with the Atrix 2 and curious if others see these things.First...I really like this phone. I like the size, the weight, the speed, the apps, etc. was annoying enough that I decided to use my bluetooth headset. The sound improved immeasurably by doing that. But, I noticed that while at work, listening to music, that I couldn't turn on wifi while I had bluetooth engaged. The music would haltingly play, like a skipping disk, until, finally, after about 30 seconds it stops altogether. As soon as I turned off wifi, the bluetooth playing would reengage where it left off and play perfectly.I also notice that with the plugged in mic or with my bluetooth headphones connected, if a call comes in while I'm listening to something, about 1/2 the time, the phone wouldn't ring or vibrate.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Pattern Setup as my lock screen for my phone, and 2 out of the 3 times I try to unlock it, it doesn't work. I try to drag the pattern out, but it thinks i lifted my finger and the lines go red, like when you guess the wrong pattern, and the lines go crazy, shooting to random dots on the lock screen, making it very tempremental. When this occurs i just click the lock button to shut the screen off, and then try again. Even after I do this, it still won't work and the lock screen will go crazy.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have set my Wifi Sleep Policy to "Never", because i like to strem my music with DLNA App to my HiFi, and i'm also downloading with Torrent App some TV Shows.Music Streamin works fine with Original DLNA app from Atrix, but only until the Display turns off. Then it stoped everything.I also set DLNA to never sleep and i also tried Battery set to "Performace". It simply doesn't work.With Torrent app from the Market also the same problem. I tried several apps. After the display is turned off there are no transfers.I own also Samsung Galaxy Tablet. With this device i don't have any of these problems.The funny thing is that the original DLNA app from Atrix simply don't stream the music after the display turnes off.

View 3 Replies View RelatedIt doesn't seem to properly work with background sync. I have an action set up so that when I plug it in to charge my phone, it is supposed to turn background sync and wifi on. The wifi comes on, but the sync does not. I have to manually turn it on.
View 2 Replies View RelatedRunning 4.1.83 update. Prior to this update, Skype didn't work at all. Just static for the folks I was trying to talk to. I just removed Skype. After the update I re-installed, Skype and great, it works. It's important as I talk to a friend in South Africa fairly frequently. Then I started noticing reboots / crashes. Phone just restarts, big old Red M logo advertises the fact the phone has just fell over and is restarting. I think I'm noticing a pattern. I've started leaving Skype running in background so I can get incoming calls from my South African friend. Every time that I've noticed a reboot, Skype was running. It could also be related to poor signal strength. By the way, I'm using Skype over my WAN data, not Wifi. Is there a way to get a crash log from the system.

Yesterday, I could hear on switching on the speaker but after doing a factory reset I can't hear any sound. Mic is working fine as the person on the other end can hear me properly. I am US military stationed in the UAE, and the freedom police here have determined that people who live here should not be able to use Skype. We all get around this by using VPNs, but it doesn't seem to be working on my phone. Using the VPN on my router and the home wireless network, I got all the way to the download skype for Android button. When I tried to select my phone as the intended device, I got a message that said this country doesn't allow Skype, and it would not install. just push a button on the phone and do Skype to Skype, or even Skype to telephone with my family back in the US instead of firing up the computer. Can I perhaps download to my computer then use a cable to install on the phone?
View 6 Replies View RelatedFrom time to time, I experience that my Xperia X10 does not automatically sync e-mail accounts (using the supplied/standard e-mail application). I've set up a number of e-mail acocunts (6) with different update rates ranging from 15 to 60 minutes. I can go in to one of the accounts, whereby it syncs and I can see that I have received a number of new e-mails (for a period more than 6-12 hours, without receiving any type of notification.
This is really annoying since I miss important emails. What can be done to ensure that they sync automatically and that I receive notifications?
I read on Skype's website that Tegra 2 devices such as the Atrix can't do video calling because the chipset doesn't have NEON technology support. Is this something that can be changed with a software update, or is this something that Tegra 2 devices will never be able to have?

so, after some battery pull, decided to re-install the original SO. now i can see the name of my carrier and the full power of signal but i'm not able to make/receive phone call or text messages because it says: no service available.
i looked for any number to contact but i didn't find anything.
i've bought this 9800 to replace my iphone but i think i'll keep my iphone: with apple a problem like this will be solved calling the support center and receiving a new phone, with the blackberry.. it's better not to know! (one frriend of mine sent the bb to the support and it come back after 2 month still not working) any number to contact? or any person who wnat to buy my torch?

The account is well configured and the sync starts and ends "fine".
I have iphone with 5.1 and latest version of itunes and use a gmail account. I was using gmail directly to sync mail and calendar but this didn't (or at least I could find a way to) sync my gmail contacts to my phone contacts so i decided to use Exchange. I deleted my gmail account from my phone and added the Exchange account, following all the instructions on many websites like this one [url]. I selected 'ON' for mail, contacts and calendars. When I refresh contacts and calendar on iphone nothing happens. When I go in mail and refresh that it comes up with 'Cannot Get Mail. The connection to the server failed.'. I deleted the account and reset up in case i messed anything up but it's still not working.

I normally sync the agenda between outlook 2003 and C7 with Ovi-suite.After update to symbian Anna it doesn't work.Strange is that Ovi suite gives the number of events that did not sync.So he can recognize them, but can't sync.

1. What is the proper name for those "quick connect" icons?

Atrix 4G contacts:
1) you can export all of your contacts easily using " Phone Portal " which comes with Atrix 4G
2) you don't have to download, install nor purchase anything
3) i've written and attached Microsoft Word doc on how to export contacts
4) I've also stored doc " Atrix 4G Exporting Contacts to PC.doc " under my user name5)
5) Procedure i've listed is the easiest i've found so far for Atrix 4G
6) There are many more items you can perform from Phone Portal, but this discussion is only on exporting contacts from Atrix 4G to PC
