Facebook check in.nearby places, etc., doesn't work.It has in the past, but with recent FB update, no longer.I've checked everything on the phone, and FB - everything seems right.

Then I get a "Device Management is running" notification in my notification tray until I go into my tuning apps and force quit "HTCdm." Mostly the small pictures Avatars beside comments and such, doesnt show anymore. The small pictures are just blank often and they dont appear even if page is reloaded. Sometimes a few are loaded but many are missing, and often none of them loads. Not even my own. Doesnt matter if I use WiFi or mobile conecction
It used to work before but not since last one or two facbook app updates. Tried to delete the cahce files of the app but didnt help. If I uninstall updates will it not set it back to the very first version of the app? Thats not so good.
My Storm 9500 was dropped and now it doesn't work. Where can I send it for a repair?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI got a blackberry storm from my friend about 2 weeks ago. When I got it, it worked perfectly, I personalized eveyrthing and I loved the phone. However, this week I was at work and I'm pretty sure the phone died. The red light stayed on, and when I was charging it in my car, it wouldn't hold a charge. It didn't turn on for 2 days, other than the white screen with the battery. I did a few battery pulls and left it plugged in. Now, it turns on when it wants to but the touchscreen realizes that my finger is there, but it doesn't click. What should I do? I took it to verizon and since I don't have insurance on it, they won't give me a new one.

Now I Install Desktop manager version 5.0.1.28 on my new PC with windows 7 64-bit and it doesn't work. It looks like it synchronize but when you look in the Calander of both PC and BB nothing changend. I'll ask Vodafone in Holland for a solution. They say that it's a software problem what is not fixed for the moment. Wait for new software. I don't believe this. (Excuses for my bath English).

If I type: The program sam is made in The software corrects it automatically to: The program Sam is made in Erasing the word and typing again will not work as it will be capitalized. What works is pausing after writing the word sam and then chosing from the popup that allows a choice of sam or Sam.This was not the case in 4.7 . If it is of any importance, I use multitap.

Since then I replaced my battery and the phone came on with the clock and then the screen showed up. and could not do anything. Then the screen went black. Now when I try to recharge it only a green light appears and nothing else. Did I kill my battery and is the phone no longer good or it's just my screen and i can replace it.
