Apr 19, 2011Our facility uses Exchange Server 2003, and I have not had problems with my Corporate Sync e-mail since receiving Froyo back in September. If I was sitting at my desk, I would consistently get a push notification on my phone a few seconds before I saw a new e-mail pop up on the Web Access client on my PC. It was great.All of a sudden, I am getting nothing. I missed several important e-mails over the weekend, and my phone will not show new messages unless I open the E-mail client and manually Refresh.
I have removed/re-added the Account a couple of times, but that doesn't seem to do any good. I have a colleague who has an Incredible, and his work e-mails are working just fine, so I wouldn't think it would be a problem with the Exchange server. The login/password aren't wrong, since I can Refresh and receive my new messages, but why would the push e-mail just halt? Are there known problems on the Blur servers? If so, is there a way we can find out about that without having to just miss a bunch of e-mails?

Aug 20, 2011According to the Atrix support page, to delete a Motoblur account I must contact my provider. My provider is AT&T and they told me they have no access to my Blur account and are therefore unable to delete it. So:
Did the CSR I reached have the wrong answer and should AT&T be able to delete my account, and if so to whom should I direct my inquiry?If not, how DO I delete the account? I already have been given the "create a new account" advice, which is obvious, but I don't care for having accounts of any kind lying around dormant. Aug 4, 2011I am having an issue where if I am using the email client with my work MS Exchange email. If I try to forward an email with an attachment from my phone, the message sends but is hung up in the outbox and I receive message failed retry.The phone continues to resend(successfully) every ~3 minutes and continues to disply message failed to send notification in the notification bar.
There is no way to delete the message from outbox (i try and says can't be deleted while sending) or otherwise stop this retry function.I have now send 20+ large emails to 2 different people.The only way I have found to fix is to delete the account and setup again.

This needs to be done, occasionally, in order to freshly repopulate the contacts, and not end up with duplicates in the phone. When I add any new songs to my library and then sync, the new song is added to my phone. However, when I delete a song from my library (and computer), that song won't get deleted from my phone after sync. I can manually delete songs on phone from WMP but I would like if I don't have to keep track if the sync works correctly.

Nov 22, 2012I'm currently using software version 2.3.6 (GINGERBREAD) and my phone keeps telling me that my phone is ready to update to 67.21.125.en.US (ICE CREAM SANDWICH - US). I am able to download it, and when it restarts my phone the little android unpacking symbol shows up like it is installing just fine. When it finishes all the normal startup screens are displayed, but when the phone is ready to use, it says update failed. I'm not sure why this is happening. I've tried it while charging, while not charging, while on WIFI, while using only cell data, while in airplain mode, and every other way I can think of. Motorolla even lists it as being available to update as of October 12th this year, but I'm still not able to get it working.

The updates seem to be fine, though the contact's pictures do not come up. Oct 11, 2011I've had my Atrix for a couple of months now and I noticed this problem back within the first 30 days but thought it was an issue with our network at work..ie the wrong password. After getting our tech guys to set the right password I have tried to connect to the WiFi at work but it gets to the point of obtaining an IP address and disconnects. I know the password is right because my co workers newish laptop will connect and another coworkers Iphone 3GS will connect.
My Atrix will connect at home, Applebees guest and the local hospitals guest connection. The work connection is secured with WPA/WPA2 PSK according to my phone. It's a small work place and really the only person that would every use the connection would be me and honestly I'm a little peeved that I can't get it to connect. The routers are probably about 3 years old so I'm not sure what that would have on them but they should work just fine with this phone. I can't really log into the routers and change anything there because of some other things that are networked into the system. Are there any setting I can change in my phone that might force it to work?

Sep 27, 2012I just got the car dock, which I really like (I had one of my original Atrix 4G) I was wondering if anyone had a recomendation for a protective case for the phone that will work with the car dock. I prefer the thinner silicon varity, buy I really want one that will fit with the car dock. Looking at the dock there seems to be a removable insert to be able to accomodate a thicker case.

Nov 21, 2011I have a few problems with the Atrix 2 and curious if others see these things.First...I really like this phone. I like the size, the weight, the speed, the apps, etc. was annoying enough that I decided to use my bluetooth headset. The sound improved immeasurably by doing that. But, I noticed that while at work, listening to music, that I couldn't turn on wifi while I had bluetooth engaged. The music would haltingly play, like a skipping disk, until, finally, after about 30 seconds it stops altogether. As soon as I turned off wifi, the bluetooth playing would reengage where it left off and play perfectly.I also notice that with the plugged in mic or with my bluetooth headphones connected, if a call comes in while I'm listening to something, about 1/2 the time, the phone wouldn't ring or vibrate.

Dec 13, 2011The app works normally in portrait mode (showing artists or songs or whatever I choose) but when I flip it to landscape mode, it just shows the blank grey/blue screen that is the background on the music app home page (where you can choose now playing, library, internet radio, etc.) and it just sits there... doesn't load anything at all.
This is an exceptionally frustrating problem for me as I use my Atrix with an HD dock and the cardock (meaning I have to basically unmount my phone from the car dock to get a different artist. If I use the (useless) music launcher in the cardock home page, I can get to the now playing screen and pick the "smart DJ" button to get a new list of songs, but it'd be really nice if I could choose an artist I wanted to listen to (or a playlist, or a song for that matter) without having to take my phone out of the cardock, flip it to portrait mode, and then place it back in the cardock (quite dangerous while driving I might add)

Jul 19, 2012I have a Pattern Setup as my lock screen for my phone, and 2 out of the 3 times I try to unlock it, it doesn't work. I try to drag the pattern out, but it thinks i lifted my finger and the lines go red, like when you guess the wrong pattern, and the lines go crazy, shooting to random dots on the lock screen, making it very tempremental. When this occurs i just click the lock button to shut the screen off, and then try again. Even after I do this, it still won't work and the lock screen will go crazy.
