I down loaded theAT&T Code reader, but when I go to a QR code, it tries to find the website but always comes back "Website unavaible" but I can get it on my daughter's I-phone ....
View 8 RepliesI purchased this MB886 from AT&T but never activated it with them. I went with Consumer Cellular since they do not have a contract requirement. My Sim card from Consumer Cellular worked with the phone but no other carrier Sim card will since it is locked. AT&T does not have the code to unlock this phone since I did not activate it with them. Motorola still has the code and they will not give it to me.

View 13 Replies View RelatedI've had two Atrix phones since March of this year. The first one was replaced for an issue unrelated to the topic of this post. Both of these devices demonstrated the following behavior:
Approximately every 15 to 25 power cycles, when the Motorola logo starts to animate the phone's LED will begin to blink in one of several colors. It stops blinking when the Motorola logo disappears. The blinking color is most often violet-purple. However, on at least three occasions I've seen it blink light blue and on one occasion it was blinking red.
The blinking LED at this stage of system initialization appears to be a color coded reporting mechanism to indicate a particular state of the phone (perhaps a failure code reporting feature). I'm guessing it's similar to the POST beep codes that a personal computer emits shortly after powered on to indicate such things as device failures, driver loading issues, or configuration problems.
I would like to know what these colors mean during this stage of the phone's booting process. That is, when I see the flashing LED during the Motorola logo animation, I want to know which part of the system is failing. There's no information on the web (including within this forum) that I've been able to locate on this and Motorola technical phone support personnel seem oblivious to the fact that this blinking color reporting even exists.
how to learn what these codes mean? As I've mentioned, both of my Atrix phones have demonstrated this behavior, so I presume all Atrix phones are equipped to demonstrate it as well under certain conditions. It's hard to imagine that Motorola engineers would have implemented a feature like this and then provided no information to anyone about what the color codes mean to make the feature useful.
I have had my Phone for 1 1/2 years yesterday the headphone jack stopped working. I tried master reboot, different head phones nothing works is it a phone issue or a software issue?
View 3 Replies View RelatedSome keys in the keyboard don't work in my Atrix. Keys y, h, and b to be specific. I tried 3 different keyboards. The keys work OK when flipped horizontal. This makes me wonder if its a hardware problem as the keys y,b, and h are in a almost straight line on the keyboard.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm currently using software version 2.3.6 (GINGERBREAD) and my phone keeps telling me that my phone is ready to update to 67.21.125.en.US (ICE CREAM SANDWICH - US). I am able to download it, and when it restarts my phone the little android unpacking symbol shows up like it is installing just fine. When it finishes all the normal startup screens are displayed, but when the phone is ready to use, it says update failed. I'm not sure why this is happening. I've tried it while charging, while not charging, while on WIFI, while using only cell data, while in airplain mode, and every other way I can think of. Motorolla even lists it as being available to update as of October 12th this year, but I'm still not able to get it working.

Facebook messages do not load through Atrix's Motoblur's messaging widget. The updates seem to be fine, though the contact's pictures do not come up. I deleted group messages from my Facebook homepage (not all of them, just the visible ones on the front page) and I also checked my IMEI, but still nothing.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've had my Atrix for a couple of months now and I noticed this problem back within the first 30 days but thought it was an issue with our network at work..ie the wrong password. After getting our tech guys to set the right password I have tried to connect to the WiFi at work but it gets to the point of obtaining an IP address and disconnects. I know the password is right because my co workers newish laptop will connect and another coworkers Iphone 3GS will connect.
My Atrix will connect at home, Applebees guest and the local hospitals guest connection. The work connection is secured with WPA/WPA2 PSK according to my phone. It's a small work place and really the only person that would every use the connection would be me and honestly I'm a little peeved that I can't get it to connect. The routers are probably about 3 years old so I'm not sure what that would have on them but they should work just fine with this phone. I can't really log into the routers and change anything there because of some other things that are networked into the system. Are there any setting I can change in my phone that might force it to work?
I just got the car dock, which I really like (I had one of my original Atrix 4G) I was wondering if anyone had a recomendation for a protective case for the phone that will work with the car dock. I prefer the thinner silicon varity, buy I really want one that will fit with the car dock. Looking at the dock there seems to be a removable insert to be able to accomodate a thicker case.

I like the size, the weight, the speed, the apps, etc. was annoying enough that I decided to use my bluetooth headset. The sound improved immeasurably by doing that. But, I noticed that while at work, listening to music, that I couldn't turn on wifi while I had bluetooth engaged. The music would haltingly play, like a skipping disk, until, finally, after about 30 seconds it stops altogether. As soon as I turned off wifi, the bluetooth playing would reengage where it left off and play perfectly.I also notice that with the plugged in mic or with my bluetooth headphones connected, if a call comes in while I'm listening to something, about 1/2 the time, the phone wouldn't ring or vibrate.
View 4 Replies View RelatedThe app works normally in portrait mode (showing artists or songs or whatever I choose) but when I flip it to landscape mode, it just shows the blank grey/blue screen that is the background on the music app home page (where you can choose now playing, library, internet radio, etc.) and it just sits there... doesn't load anything at all.
This is an exceptionally frustrating problem for me as I use my Atrix with an HD dock and the cardock (meaning I have to basically unmount my phone from the car dock to get a different artist. If I use the (useless) music launcher in the cardock home page, I can get to the now playing screen and pick the "smart DJ" button to get a new list of songs, but it'd be really nice if I could choose an artist I wanted to listen to (or a playlist, or a song for that matter) without having to take my phone out of the cardock, flip it to portrait mode, and then place it back in the cardock (quite dangerous while driving I might add)
My volume buttons no longer work on my Moto Atrix phone. I was thinking about taking apart my phone but taking off the back does not make it any easier to get to where the volume buttons are.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a Pattern Setup as my lock screen for my phone, and 2 out of the 3 times I try to unlock it, it doesn't work. I try to drag the pattern out, but it thinks i lifted my finger and the lines go red, like when you guess the wrong pattern, and the lines go crazy, shooting to random dots on the lock screen, making it very tempremental. When this occurs i just click the lock button to shut the screen off, and then try again. Even after I do this, it still won't work and the lock screen will go crazy.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have set my Wifi Sleep Policy to "Never", because i like to strem my music with DLNA App to my HiFi, and i'm also downloading with Torrent App some TV Shows.Music Streamin works fine with Original DLNA app from Atrix, but only until the Display turns off. Then it stoped everything.I also set DLNA to never sleep and i also tried Battery set to "Performace". It simply doesn't work.With Torrent app from the Market also the same problem. I tried several apps. After the display is turned off there are no transfers.I own also Samsung Galaxy Tablet. With this device i don't have any of these problems.The funny thing is that the original DLNA app from Atrix simply don't stream the music after the display turnes off.

View 3 Replies View RelatedFor the last several weeks neither the WiFi nor the Bluetooth will turn on. When selecting to turn on WiFi is starts to turn on then stops and displays Error. About 75% of the time after attempting to turn on the WiFi the phone will reboot. I have factory reset the phone and the WiFi and Bluetooth will work once after the reset but once the phone sleeps neither WiFi nor Bluetooth will operate. This is even after a power down. I have checked my settings and can't find anything that would cause this.

I would like to mention that the code was never changed and that this phone is brand new (less then 3 weeks old)I have tried in different way from the *#7780# and it asked me to put in the new code and I put 12345 and the I went to change it to something else I get the same "Code error".Also I have tried the *#7370# code which was supposed to reset it, however this failed also.

I had two year plan with voda fone, that just finised a month ago, but my blackberry bold 9000 is still locked. I contacted them to get unloced, followed the procedure:Handset Unlock Procedure for IMEI: <Personal Content Removed> Your unlock code is: <Personal Content Removed> he unlocking code that I received from vodafone website does not work on my blackberry, and keeps asking to enter Network MEP code. every time I enter, it asks again and number of tries left is decreased by one. Taken my mobile to vodafone store, but no luck. Blackberry website asks for partner code!Is there any solution that blackberry provides to its customers at all, or just roaming around and keep doing hit and try? by the way, i am business customer with top of the range plan $99 per month, and what I am getting back is a very poor service! View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a 9630 Tour that I am trying to unlock from Sprint, to use with AT&T. I have followed directions exactly- even spending hours researching my issue, and it seems to be fairly common, but I have yet to see an effective solution- Here goes:
When I type in MEPD, I get the next screen, as I should be getting. However, my display reads:
SIM Disabled
Network Disabled
Net Subset Disabled
Sev Provider Disabled
Corporate Disabled
I have seen several posts where Network reads Inactive instead of disabled, and am not sure if this is my problem or not, but when I type MEP2 on this screen, the window that should come up for my unlock code does NOT come up. I have read in several places to try MEPP2, or MEPE. Neither of these codes work.
All USSD codes (*566# , *123# etc) does not work on my BB 9650. How to resolve this problem? I'm using GSM grameenphone network in Bangladesh.
