I have a 9630 Tour that I am trying to unlock from Sprint, to use with AT&T. I have followed directions exactly- even spending hours researching my issue, and it seems to be fairly common, but I have yet to see an effective solution- Here goes:
When I type in MEPD, I get the next screen, as I should be getting. However, my display reads:
SIM Disabled
Network Disabled
Net Subset Disabled
Sev Provider Disabled
Corporate Disabled
I have seen several posts where Network reads Inactive instead of disabled, and am not sure if this is my problem or not, but when I type MEP2 on this screen, the window that should come up for my unlock code does NOT come up. I have read in several places to try MEPP2, or MEPE. Neither of these codes work.

I have recently bought a 2nd hand curve 8520 that's locked on to o2 its a birthday present for my niece but I need it to work on virgin media does any know a way I can get the mep2 code for either free or cheapish?

I have a N85 device which is locked only for Orange IL sim card. I called my operator support and center and they provided a SIM UNLOCK code which didn't unlocked my device. They said that there must be a problem with my device and it can't be unlocked.
My question is : Is it possible that I can't unlock my device ?
Just to make things clear I didn't use a hacked key from the web, I called Orange IL support center and they provided the unlock code ( I had to pay for that code).
How do I enter a phone unlocking code into my Xperia X8 I got the unlocking code from my service provider they told me to press the left arrow key then ** then left arrow key I have no idea where to find a left arrow key, the 2 arrow keys that I can see on my phone either deletes one of the stars or returnes to the home page from the keypad
Recently I bought A Samsung SGH A886. And I am currently in Contract with FIDO, knowing that this Phone was a ROGERS Phone. I bought it because a friend of mine told me that it's possible to unlock it. I`ve been trying to look for someone that can unlock it. But I've heard that all you need is a Code to Unlock the Phone permanently.
I Forgot my password(security code) of my Nokia N86 which i'd change and when i change my sim card,the handset prompts me to type the security code...

I reviewed many websites and found that bb5 models cannot be unlocked and the only solution for that is to get the handset flashed,i just want to know from Nokia Discussion board,is the flashing only solution available? or any other alternative?
Has anyone successfully unlocked the Tmobile Samsung Vibrant using a 3rd party unlock code source? I have purchased a code with ebay seller "unlockadic" and unlockallcellular.com. Hopefully one of these sources come through with the code.
My Tour has stopped giving me audible alerts when it is in the holster regardless of how I have the settings configured. Pulling the battery doesn't help. I have no custom profiles set up. I'm at a loss on this one. I've seen lots of older threads on this but nothing recent so I'm hoping that maybe there is now a fix. Any suggestions?
Recently purchased a used Blackberry 9530 which was not unlocked. Have received the code needed from a third party source, follow the instructions, but when I get to the point of typing MEP2, no popup screen appears to input the code. The phone was not active when purchased but did come with a Verizon SIM card and on it, it said Vodaphone. The phone is locked to Verizon. Also in the IMEI number there is a 03 in the middle instead of a 06.
Basically I want to be able to fully use my blackberry tour in Colombia, but again sprint would not unlock my phone. I heard I can get it unlocked with a code or get it flashed and release the pin. I really dont know what all that means lol so can someone guide me in the correct path to do all this? like what do I need to first, and when do i need to do it and by this I mean if I should do it before cancelling my services or after?
I'm on the o2 uk network, and have a BB Curve 9630 (I think lol, can't check as I'm using it to write this) my problem is my phone is letting me acess the net, send receive emails and use bbm, but can't send or receive texts or calls. I contacted o2 who said there's no prob with network and sim works in a different phone ok. I'm a pay as you go customer. I was looking for the same thing, to change imei to another BB curve I have that won't go on, but don't think that's gna happen. Ii checked status of unlocks/locks everything says disabled except network, that's saying inactive
I recently purchased 9630 through ebay without Quickstart Guide and any options.But Unique code is printed on the back of the Quickstart Guide as attached website. PIN# was not function.
During hard wire sync to desktop Outlook, I'm now receiving Intellisync error code 0x83860028 (never happened before now), and it aborts the synchronization. Can't find reference to this code anywhere, and don't know what's causing it (it stops after reviewing all Outlook contact records). The error occurs on two separate BB's with different contact lists.
As many of the rest of you have done, I mindlessly upgraded to OS 5.0, and am working on the new features. Here's something that puzzles me, though. Now when I dial a number from my contact list (even one in my own city and area code), my BB puts a +1 (country code for the usa) in front of the number.As I don't recall seeing this before, is this something new? Or do I have a setting wrong (which I'll discover on my bill in a few days).
I have tried the other day to change the phone security code from the standard 12345 to something else. However when I try to do that I get en "Code Error " on the phone. I would like to mention that the code was never changed and that this phone is brand new (less then 3 weeks old)I have tried in different way from the *#7780# and it asked me to put in the new code and I put 12345 and the I went to change it to something else I get the same "Code error".Also I have tried the *#7370# code which was supposed to reset it, however this failed also.
I know that with the BlackBerry you can rewrite the whole phone software, can the Ovi do the same thing?I have tried to call Nokia and ask for guidance, however they are saying that the CODE WAS CHANGED and that I have to remember the code, which is completly not true.
I had two year plan with voda fone, that just finised a month ago, but my blackberry bold 9000 is still locked. I contacted them to get unloced, followed the procedure:Handset Unlock Procedure for IMEI: <Personal Content Removed> Your unlock code is: <Personal Content Removed> he unlocking code that I received from vodafone website does not work on my blackberry, and keeps asking to enter Network MEP code. every time I enter, it asks again and number of tries left is decreased by one. Taken my mobile to vodafone store, but no luck. Blackberry website asks for partner code!Is there any solution that blackberry provides to its customers at all, or just roaming around and keep doing hit and try? by the way, i am business customer with top of the range plan $99 per month, and what I am getting back is a very poor service! Any way to come out of this and get the right unlocking code (as voda fone said the unlocking code is wront).
I down loaded theAT&T Code reader, but when I go to a QR code, it tries to find the website but always comes back "Website unavaible" but I can get it on my daughter's I-phone ....
While i was using my Nokia 1208 last night, it spontaneously turned off. When i turned it back on and typed in my PIN, it requested a security code. The default 12345 wouldn't work and i have never changed the code. This is the 2nd time this has happened to me and the first time it was just impossible to fix it so i bought a new 1. Can some please help or post of you have had a similar problem!
I'm having trouble unlocking my samsung bebold from tmobile to put on the rogers network in canada. I did get an unlock code fro tmobile with instructions but it doesn't work!! I really want to use my phone.
I always have my Tour on vibrate only. The problem is that it seems like it works sporadically. Sometimes it works wonderful, and sometimes it doesn't vibrate at all when I get a new notification such as email, text or whatever. Other times it will randomly vibrate 5-6 times just for 1 text.
