I'm having trouble unlocking my samsung bebold from tmobile to put on the rogers network in canada. I did get an unlock code fro tmobile with instructions but it doesn't work!! I really want to use my phone.

Unfortunately, it is locked to the O2 network and I need it on the orange network.Learning via google, I have rooted the phone, and tried the 'Galaxy S2 sim unlock' application to find the unlock code but it came back with the following message 'cannot find unlock code' Just wondering is there something I have done wrong? Also have an annoying yellow triangle with an exclamation mark that comes up every time the phone is rebooted.

It takes me 7 tries to unlock the phone and then the screen doesn't want to work when I tap on it. I'm on my 3rd htc sensation the first two had the same problem htc really needs to fix these problems . I called htc yesterday to tell them all my problems and they told me I was only the second person to call about it.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a Pattern Setup as my lock screen for my phone, and 2 out of the 3 times I try to unlock it, it doesn't work. I try to drag the pattern out, but it thinks i lifted my finger and the lines go red, like when you guess the wrong pattern, and the lines go crazy, shooting to random dots on the lock screen, making it very tempremental. When this occurs i just click the lock button to shut the screen off, and then try again. Even after I do this, it still won't work and the lock screen will go crazy.

View 15 Replies View Relatedi unlocked my BlackBerry Torch at ProMobileMotion.com which was recommended somewhere on these forums , i used to have an issue with my Unlocked Torch before going there, i wasn't able to recieve or send MMS or use the browser, after getting the unlock from that site, everything works including facebook FINALLY! My question is, when i go over seas, which i tend to do at least once a year, and i put a new sim card in, will i need to reconfigure my settings again? or will the browser and mms automatically work with no issue?

Then, trying to follow another's step-by-step instructions, I'm still having trouble following along. Here's my step-by-step to the point that I get lost. Open Menu, tap Settings, tap Messaging, scroll down to Messaging Settings, tap Multimedia Message, tap MMS Profiles... and this is where it gets confusing for me. Whether I try to edit one of the preset profiles, or add my own, these are the lines I'm offered to work with:
editing the MEdia Net profile -
Set Name
Access Name
Auth Type
User ID
Password (user ID and PW aren't able to be edited in this profile)
Protocol (either HTTP or WAP)
Home URL
Proxy Address
Linger Time (sec.)
Advanced Settings
And in the Adv Settings, I have -
Static IP (to check, or unckeck, a box)
Local Phone IP (not highlighted, ie, able to be edited)
Static DNS (to check, or uncheck, a box)

Server 2 (neither server lines are able to be edited in this profile)
Traffic Class (down arrow sellection, with Subscribed as the only selection available)
And in adding a new profile, everything that was previously unable to be edited, can now be: User ID, Password, Static IP #, and Servers 1 & 2 #'s. I've tried every combination of URLs that I could find:

And I'm striking out everywhere. I'm hoping someone understands the babble I've typed in here, and can make sense enough of this to be able to help me. I don't care about getting on the internet with the phone (no data plan), but I just want to be able to send/receive pics and videos.
I've recently moved from Orange to O2 and my iPhone 3GS doesn't recognise the new O2 SIM card. Orange told me that they would send me an unlock code from Apple a month ago. Talked to Orange today and they say I need to get it from O2 but O2 say that's not the case.

It's in the neighborhood of 500 or so, so I obviously don't want to transfer them by hand individually. What is my best bet to get them from my lotus to my new blackberry? It shows a red sos signal on the top right hand corner. My phone does pick up wifi signal but no mobile network signals, not even Edge. View 3 Replies View RelatedI've lost the 4 digit user selected security lock code which is required to reset the phone.Virgin says Samsung should help recover the code and Samsung says Virgin should help recover the code.A while back, I found a code on the web that allowed me to go into a service menu which listed among other things the lock code. I can't find any information on how to get back into that menu.
By the way, yes, I tried the last 4 digits of the phone number, 0000, 9999, 1234.If anyone knows how to get into the service menu on this phone
The only codes I've found so far are:##786# which gets into an info menu but doesn't have the lock code.##33284# which requires a 6-digit security code which I don't know.
I set a screen lock code today and used it several time with no problems. Tonight the unlock screen shows 'Enter Password to Unlock' but when I enter the pin code, it will not unlock.
