View 9 Replies View RelatedI use my phone to contact my house burglar alarm and as such send texts to and from the alarm using a coded message format.on my old phone i used to save drafts of all the key messages and i could save them all in one folder and with the house alarm number saved as a starred contact it was just click message and send.any easy way to do that on the SII?? Ive tried saving loads of drafts but with the standard message system they all just filter down the message "conversation" list meaning if ive sent loads of texts i have to scroll for ages to find a message from the alarm and then enter it to send the draft.

View 14 Replies View RelatedI find the E72 not easy to use if you are not looking at the phone, i.e. if you want to end a call, you cannot press the 'end' button by feeling for it. If for e.g. the 'end call' button was the top right button, then ending a call could be done merely by feeling for the first button. Now with the flat surface buttons, its impossible to do so without having to look at the phone. There ought to be laws out there on the use of the term 'smartphone'.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am a very new blackberry user & recently picked up a used unlocked and unbranded Bold 9000. I am wondering if there is a way to fin out if the PIN is still being held by the previous provider? I really want to make sure that the phone is good.
I had someone run the IMEI on the phone & it came back as clean, but did not list it's last provider (or any info for that matter) in the history. I believe from looking on the phone that it was on Rogers last. The PIN for the phone is 20D56A67, the phone is currently not on a network. Also is it common for Blackberries to be made in Hungry and say "Property of Research In Motion" on the sticker under the battery? My roomate has a curve and it doesn't say that.
I know the normal way to do is a screenshot is to hold the power/volume button down, but it seems kinda hard to do sometimes.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm very pleased with my LG G4 - a great phone BUT have one major issue which is wrecking my life. Whenever I press to go to my "Home Page" I am asked to select between Home and Easy Home - I select "Always" for Home but it continually asks me to select between Home and Easy Home most of the time.
Always isn't always on my phone?? I have gone through everything multiple times - to be able to Disable Easy Home is greyed out on that screen.
Anyway, if it was, that would make it a pretty nice low-light performer, at least on paper. Low-light performance is really important to me (and I hate how flash ruins shots), but I can't seem to find any info on this. Does anyone know?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am used to have a blinking light alert in case of a missed call, also a mail, sms or even a whatsapp message with my previous Motorola Droid. I even could arrange different colors to different situations. I could not find this in SII and I really miss it ! Is there a way to make it possible ?

I take really good care of my phone and had the iPhone 3G for 2 years and didn't have any problems with scratches on the screen. Now with the iPhone 4 I have taken even better care of it and it is covered in scratches some seem minor but some seem deep and make it look weird when you look at it with the screen on. Once I noticed this it made me really mad because it is supposed to be a stronger screen.

basically paid a website to get the unlock codes ,gave them the network the phone was on and the IMEI numbers, got the codes no problem about 4 days ago had not had time to put the codes in there still unused when all of a sudden today the phone went blank and froze after 5 mins it came back to life instead of dispaying Tesco mobile which the phone is locked to is said unlimited i thought great the websites unlocked it for me, i put an o2 sim in it came up o2 network thought great its worked then realised even tho the o2 sim is in the phone is still using the mobile numer from the tesco sim card how is this possible ? any ideas whats happened far as i knew u ordered the codes online they give you them then its up to you to install them, is it possible for the website to have done something? as i have not entered one single code into my phone all i did was send them the IMEI number and pay for it that was it never ever used the codes?
View 2 Replies View Relatedhad my SGS2 for just a couple of days. I want to use the phone as a basic light meter for office and photographic purposes. However... having downloaded a couple of apps from the google play store I can only get 3 values what ever the lighting condition - either 10, 100 or 1000 lux - not a lot of use. By contract my son's 60 Huawei Blaze gives accurate readings to 0.1 lux
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a 8330 and just did an update. Before the update to access the addressbook all I had to do was hold down the talk button for about 2 seconds and my addressbook would appear. Now after the update it no longer does that. It just goes to my call log/previous calls. Is there a way to get to the addressbook instead of having to go through the main menu and then down to addressbook?
View 8 Replies View RelatedDoes anyone else notice that this phone gets swirls and scratches extremely easy? My 3GS's screen has no scratches in the year I had it and I've had my iPhone 4 since the day is came out and I've also had a bumper on it. The back has a big scratch on the back (but you can't feel it, just visible) and the front has a small scratch. But over the whole entire screen there are hairlines swirls all over. I never had this with my 3GS. Anyone else have this with their (easy scratching)? I don't like putting screen protectors on, never have, but contemplating doing that now.
View 4 Replies View RelatedWhile I was charging the phone with lead to my PC i turned the phone on, Then blue light LED came on and nothing else happens next.. i have tried all the buttons, and everything fails. I even wiped the Data on the phone too!
When i try pressing the different buttons to start the phone it comes up as normal with samsung galaxy s6 powered as android then after that just black screen with the blue led light stuck on, but when i charge it it goes to charge screen when i press power button and down..
Is it typical that the home button scratches easy? I just noticed a tiny scratch on my home button. I can only see it in the light though.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI just got my new Captivate and it is a very nice phone. I have one issue with it and wanted to know if it is normal or do I have a defective phone. No matter where i am and what type of light I am in (i.e sunlight, darkness etc) the back light for the 4 buttons below the screen (Home, Menu,Search and back) turns off after about 2-3 seconds which is very quickly. It comes back on if I touch the buttons or if I touch the screen. I see a backlight timer for the screen but not for the touch sensitive buttons. Is it normal that the backlight for the buttons goes out in 2-3 seconds? Of do I have a defect?

Whether I should get the Samsung Corby phone or not. I saw the wep490 Bluetooth and it makes want to buy them together. They say that wep490 will change to wep495 in an In-earphone form next year. Is In-earphone Bluetooth comfortable to use? Or is regular ear phone Bluetooth more comfortable?
