I have been trying to load some pictures from my laptop to my tablet and they transfer just fine. The only things is when they transfer on to the tablet they are all mixed up and not in order like they were on the laptop.

I have a replacement 4G LTE Xoom that I just received a few weeks ago on warrantee from Motorola. It works fine, except it doesn't seem to be getting the system updates that I have heard are already released. Realized soon after that my local REI had it in stock and I had a xmas gift certificate. Went to REI and purchased it - (Canceled my order for the Garmin 910XT in the process) Went back to the site to try and cancel my order but the 'Cancel items or order' button on my order page wasnt' functional. No biggie, I'll call. After being passed around to the same 3 depts TWICE, I was finally told the ecommerce section was closed for the weekend. Once again, I understand that.I then call on Monday, they tell me the order hasn't yet shipped but I'm not allowed to cancel it at that point. Don't quite understand and getting a bit frustrated at this point but whatever, I'll deal. Customer rep tells me that they'll issue a return slip and email it to me.
OK, I'm good with that.Wednesday comes and still no email with return slip. I call, go through the same 3 depts again and get someone else who tells me that it takes a while to get the return slip but I'll have it within 24 hours.24 hours goes by, I call again and get hung up on 3 times in the process before I can ever get to anyone. Once I get someone on the line, they tell me that it should be to me within the next couple of days... A RETURN SLIP?Once I finally lost my temper a bit, they said it would be 'escalated' and that I should be receiving it within a few hours... we'll see. They also let me know that I could not return it without the receipt.Meanwhile, I've completely soured on the one that I purchased and I'm considering returning it as well and changing my order back to the Garmin. By the way, I called Garmin's support team just to compare... night and day!
I accepted the new update and after the green android/gear loading completed, my XOOM went dark. Will not turn on, it had plenty of juice(and is still plugged in).

When I use ES File Explorer or File Manager those apps cannot find these pictures on the internal storage or external card but those albums and photos are visible in Gallery. The file manager apps see some albums but not all of those visible in Gallery. The PC cannot see them either using Windows Explorer as it only sees the same albums which the Xoom file manager apps can see.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently got my Xoom and I picked up the Motorola camera connecter cable to go along with it, and I'm trying to import pictures from my Canon T2i using the USB cable connected to the camera connector cable. When I plug the cables in and turn the camera on, the Xoom recogonizes the camera, actually starts rendering 3 or 4 thumbnails of the pictures on the card in the camera, and then I get an error message ont he camera and eventually the Xoom no longer recogonizes the camera.I tried a little Kodak point and shoot camera and it worked fine with the Xoom. I then hooked the Canon to my Ipad using Apple's camera connection kit and it imported the pictures perfectly. The next thing I did was update the firmware in the Canon and then retried it with the same results. It starts the import and then the camera crashes.

The black screen comes up wtih the picture on it, you can't scroll to see comments, or make a comment, it's VERY hard to hit the x to close that window as well.A Is there some work around for it? I have put a picture (jpeg) folder onto the sd card, and now I want to link the folder to the Gallery shortcut on my tablet so that I can show my pictures using the Gallery shortcut instead of having to go via my file manager app and then selecting the individual pictures on the sd card.

Duplicates of the original 500... Now the same folder contains 1500 photos, 3 copies of each of the original 500.. This is happening with all the gallery folders.. They show up fine in outlook and webmail, but on the Xoom they show up with tiny placeholders (boxes with green question marksressing on "show pictures" does not help. View 1 Replies View RelatedI have deleted 4 pictures in the gallery app from the sdcard/pictures directory. I exited the gallery and returned some time later and ther is now a seperate album showing 4 pictures with no thumbnail and the won't open. These blank pics have the same file names as the ones deleted and are stored in the same directory. Getting info on these pics shows the original file size and name, but with a resolution of 0x0 and they can't be opened. Exploring the sdcard/pictures directory with file explorer does not show the 4 files in question.
Update- I shut down my Xoom and restarted. Launched the Gallery app. The blank picture album appeared momentarily and then disappeared.
I am trying to get a definitive answer as have been researching this for weeks and despite my best efforts still have no solution.I am using the fantastic N900 (well done Nokia!) and would like all my music on the device. All efforts so far have transferred music ok but album tracks always appears in alphabetical order in the music player as opposed to the album track order(not much good). This is despite careful tagging and trying with Windows Media Player, Media Monkey & Songbird to see if any work best.
I found out today that this might be due to the file being a .wma file. All my music is ripped to my PC in .wma as in my experience I find the quality vs file size is great and better by far than .mp3.Today I ripped a CD with WMP as .mp3 and after sync the track order was correct (although I do not want to use WMP through choice and certainly not .mp3, let alone re rip my entire CD Collection), my preference would be Media Monkey or Songbird with .wma.
Is this a bug or N900 problem? (I know they are different but it worked fine on N97 and N95 8gb previously with MM and .wma) Can anyone help? or even offer a recommendation or suggestion as to what they think is best format, application or way to have music on the N900 etc.
I love car mode on my S5, except for this stupid bug where it plays music in alphabetical order instead of track order when you ask it to play an album. If I say the same command using the "OK Google" feature outside of car mode, that works just fine. The metadata on the mp3 files have the correct track info.

Nothing shows up in my orders, and when I type to search my order using my phone number or order number, nothing comes up.Has this happened to anyone else?I have to call them when they open!Also, I don't have a confirmation e-mail, because it's a different account owner with a different e-mail.
