Suddenly my phone is not showing any pictures, for my contacts, in my happenings, and in facebook. for example, all contacts look like the little grey manican, and when people change their profile pic in my happenings it will not load. I've tried removing the battery, uninstalling facebook and then re-installing - nothing. I've also done a factory data reset - nothing.

I am enjoying the phone but as I am not an internet social networker I would love to remove the "Add a social network" widgets from my homescreen. As yet I have not been able to work out how to do so.

View 13 Replies View RelatedAround a week ago when I turned my motorola quench on I found that a bunch of settings were reset including the passcode lock and my choice to use the swype keyboard. Although I was able to change those back easily enough, my home button since then does not work. In order to close an app, I now have to use the back button (which means losing my pages if I am in a web browser). The command for pressing the home button twice still works.

When I connect the Motoactv to the PC and run the downloaded installation softwar, the software runs but then the error, "You need an internet connection for the installer to proceed. Please check your connection and try again". However, I do have an internet connection and I have disabled the firewall.

When using webtop and the firefox browser I sometimes get directed to the mobile site rather than the full web site of certain pages like Facebook and Twitter. No it won't get past that at all, stuck on this screen for hours, rebootd phone, mac, reinstalled motocast. I've seen other having this load content issue also, how can we fix this? I'm using the motocast mac version downloaded from the website.

I was/am using a USB Broadband modem for internet connection (for mobility) and a cell phone from another provider. Saw the RAZR and preordered from Verizon with much enthusiasm, Hey I'm finally getting with the times upgrading and consolidatingWell on 11/10/11 I received a receipt on the door when I got home, a receipt from FED EX saying they were here and unable to deliver without signature. I jumped back in the car and rushed to the FED EX joint to get my new toy. Well it sure is a beaut! I love it!ell long story shorter... I cannot get Hotmail, Yahoo, Facebook nor my eBay accounts web pages to load on the laptop via using the Hotspot feature. (Among many other sites while browsing) I contacted Verizon several times tried CDMA only blah blah blah.
Verizon escalated me to support out in Utah... TAKE NOTE MOTOROLA! and the Cisco tech there "made some changes" and was able to get me up and running, albeit until after we hung up and I was satisfied that it had been worked around. After about 10 minutes of enjoying "What I have paid for" it quit again and the pages just sit, trying to load and sometimes scrambled.Dismayed, I called Verizon and asked for a new unit, which I recieved last night, (and again had to got to the FED EX joint) IT TOO Will not funtion properly. ( I figured it wouldn't) But hey, even Henry Ford puts out a lemon once in a while.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI just got my Photon yesterday and really like it. One odd thing I noticed was that sometimes an application icon on my desktop will be stuck in a "Loading" state. If I click on the icon, it says something like the application is unavailable. If I restart my phone, the problem appears to go away.A co-worker that has had the Photon for a while now says that he gets this problem all the time. He says restarting the phone will fix the problem for that icon, but sometimes another icon will have the same problem.It appears to happen with any launcher (e.g. Motoblur or GO Launcher EX).
*EDIT: In addition to the icon being stuck in "loading" on the desktop, I noticed that if you open the Applications area, the icon for the application doesn't even show up.
