Motorola Atrix 4G :: Cannot Hear From Earpiece Of It
Nov 1, 2011
My Motorola Atrix 4G unlocked was purchased recently online from ebay USA. Its still in warranty. The phone is with me in India.
The phone woked fine for a month. But now I can not hear through the Phone's earpiece. This problem developed suddenly one day without any warning. I did not drop the phone or bang it against anything. I can hear through phone speaker, bluetooth headset or regular wired headphones but not through the earpiece.
I then upgraded the phone software thinking it might be a software issue. But it didnt work.
I have a razr 2 v9m through alltel. Whenever I'm talking to someone, I can faintly hear my voice through my earpiece. At first I thought it was a radio in the background but noticed that it was me talking. What would be causing this, and is there anyway to stop it? It's kind of annoying.
I have bought the Atrix 4G in February 2012 and my warranty has expired in JuneRecently the earpiece speaker on my phone has stopped working and the local motorola service center advised me to replace the flex cable that houses the earpiece speaker. Can someone let me know where I can procure this flex cable in the US? Is it available for online ordering?
When I make a normal skype to skype call I can't hear the other persons voice. Yesterday, I could hear on switching on the speaker but after doing a factory reset I can't hear any sound. Mic is working fine as the person on the other end can hear me properly. Is this a handset fault or normal with motorola ATRIX.
Mine is a all new Motorola Atrix 4G. Its since 2 months i had purchased.Since two days it started to give issues while talking calls. I am not able to hear the voice of caller. But the caller was able to hear properly without any issues. However, When I try to call any customer care phones, I am able to hear the automated voice too.It does not to make sense to me why I am not able to hear the callers' voice (only if it is humans).
Is it possible to use a USB earpiece on a Curve 8330? I have a leftover earpiece from my razr that I really liked. It has the same mini USB connector as the blackberry but I tried plugging it in and then placed a call but didn't hear anything through the earpiece.
I've heard a lot of reports that the earpiece volume on the Blast is pretty quiet. This could be a problem for me, as my girlfriend has a soft voice and we both get frustrated when I can't hear her well.
I am having issues with my bluetooth connection after installing the recent att update. It will show as connected but I can't hear the other person. I have to switch between bluetooth and speaker to hear the other peson. I never had problems before. I thought it is bluetooth problem and just received new headset from plantronics and it is doing the same.
After reading many stellar reviews of the vx8700 and it's superior call quality, I purchased one last week. Unfortunately, I'm extremely disappointed and even more confused. I'm disappointed because the call quality does not compare even slightly to that of my old Motorola E815. I'm confused because of all the reviews praising the vx8700's call quality. I've come across VERY few people who think the quality's less than stellar. What's going on? Could mine be defective?
My biggest complaint is that I cannot hear my own voice through the earpiece when making a phone call. I'm NOT referring to an echo. On every other phone I have used, the user's voice carries through the earpiece. Most people do not notice this. Everyone I try to explain this to does not understand until they make a call with my phone, then it's clear to them. Anyone have any idea to what's going on?
Having a problem when I call people/receive calls. Everything's fine as long as I have it on loudspeaker or have the earphones in but as soon as I press the handset button I stop being able to hear anything (although the person at the other end can still hear me). Not sure if it's something I've caused by messing about with the settings as it hasn't always been like this, or if something's broke.
a couple days ago i had to turn the volume all the way up on my phone and when this didn't do anything i thought perhaps I was losing hearing in my left ear! but of course i tried speakerphone and it is fine. is it possible that instead i have simply lost a little left ear earwax and that it has found a nice little spot to nest on the "earpiece" of my sleek little iphone 4?
I have a new Motorola Krazr. The earpiece volume is turned all the way up, but i can hardly hear conversations. My wife tried it, and can't hear well on the phone either...so it's not just all the loud rock music i listened to as a teenager! is there any way to pump up the volume??
Does anyone have the dreaded gsm earpiece buzzing on there v3xxs? You know, the noise you get when your to close to your stereo speakers etc..but in the actual razr earpiece. I've seen it documented plenty but really no solutions.I have a platinum v3xx and it does it faintly and you really can't here it when your on a call. Of course when its on 3g theres no buzz, only in the 850 band. If your really not sure make sure your razr is in gsm mode and just click the browser button as its accessing the network put the phone to your ear like your on a call and see if its there.
My old black v3 did this as well but worse, my first v3xx did it too.Any work arounds? I read somewhere there can be a seem edit of the gain table by turning the microphone gain down some and someone said it worked but it wasnt for the v3xx model.
It all started this morning, completely out of nowhere the earpiece speaker seemingly stopped working. Upon further inspection (that is, concentrating more on the sound) I could hear the other person speaking, but it was very, very low. I tried pressing buttons after the call and the volume was still as low so its not a network issue. I am quite pissed right now since I take perfect care of the phone and it has barely tasted the ground (aside from the fact that I always have it with a plastic cover). Of course, I checked the Phone volume and it was 7 so it should work, took the battery out and no luck. So, what could I do in this case?I haven't recently let it fall to the ground, maybe in one month or so, so that's not it.
I just recently bought a new housing and flex ribbon for my moto i870.But now when I turn it one, everything works but there is no sound coming from the earpiece!(cant hear anyone, but they can hear me) The external speaker works, everything else works,I even checked the volume(i cant even hear the keytones)the flex ribbon is new and see no tears on it.I spent money on the flex ribbon and housing and this is frustrating.
I was just wondering if anyone has ever experienced feedback in the earpiece of their razr. When i open the phone, whether it be during a call or even when im not in a call. I hear a constant high pitch feedback beep coming from the earpiece. This happened all of a sudden and dont know what casued it.Now normally I would just go buy a new phone, But, this is one of the limited gold dolce razrs, and is basically irreplaceable. So could it be caused by a bad earpiece and be replaced or could something else be wrong. and is replacing the earpiece from another rar difficult for a novice? I really dont want to break the phone.
I got my Razr Maxx replaced under Asurion warranty, got sent a "Certified Like New" from Verizon, and I can't hear people through the earpiece. It's way quieter than my other phone, even at the loudest volume, and then it crackles at that volume. Can I fix this myself or do I need to take it to Verizon and demand that they give me a good phone without having to pay their crap replacement fee?
My Motorola Atrix or Computer has a Problem install the ADB Interface so there for my phone wont connect to my Computer.I have a windows 7 32-bit operating system.I have tried installing Drivers Manualy, tried using the PDAnet Solution, tried unistalling all USB Ports, tried applications to help.
Will the Lapdock (and other accessories for that matter) work for the new Atrix 2 coming? I've only used the Lapdock lightly and it will be a real shame if it and the other accessories I've purchased over the past year won't work with the 2nd gen Atrix.
I've just upgraded from BB Curve to Bold and am unable to Pair my Motorola H700 earpiece with the new BB. The BB discovers the headset but when I enter the 0000 numeric code, the BB tells me it's "Unable to pair with the Motorola H700". Same thing happens with my Motorola Hands-free car unit.
1) Any recommendations on the brand and size Micro SD I should get. They all look the same, but some of them have different descriptions, so I'm not sure which one is better.
2) Will my phone work with a Motorola bluetooth earpiece? I have one, and tried to find it using the phone, but it could not be found. I just assumed any bluetooth headset could be used, but I could be wrong...anyone?
I just received two new Motorola Tundras and I had a chance to use them today. The first thing I noticed was that the earpiece volume is very low (even after setting it to 7). I found some software here several yrs ago that allowed me to tweak the volume on my RAZR V3. Is there any similar software available for the Tundra yet, if so can you point me in the right direction?
New Razr Maxx and Plantronics Explorer 240 Bluetooth earpiece will not pair. The phone sees the device, asks for the 0000 but gives a pairing error as the wrong code.Plantronics tells me they only hardcode 0000 (zeros) into the headset and the phone says it is the wrong code.
