I got the Photon on launch day and I was pretty good until I was using some Apple headphone to talk. I put the phone in my pocket and alll of a sudden they couldn't hear me talk. Long story short the mic will not pick up anything and even using Winamp which lets you use the headphones (worked on my EVO) to control audio playback I get nothing.
View 2 RepliesWhen I use the controls on my Motorola S305 Bluetooth headphones and Spotify such as play, pause, next song, etc. It automatically opens up the stock music app and starts playing those songs and Spotify stops playing. Is there any way to control which application the AVRCP bluetooth profile controls? I didn't have this problem on my Nexus One.
View 1 Replies View RelatedFor the last week or so I've noticed, much to my embarassment, that sometimes the speaker is playing whatever music I'm listening to with my headphones plugged in. This is really frustrating in cubeland, as I hate to be a noisy neighbor, especially when it comes to sharing music. The fix is relatively simple, but temporary and annoying: restart the phone. This has happened every day I've used my headphones at work for the last week or two, and I'm getting tired of it.
So, my question to everyone is: Has this happened to you, and do you know if this is a software or hardware issue? Should I get this thing swapped out under warranty, or should I just wait for the next software update?
On my iPod I use regular in ear headphones with a 3.5 mm jack, but also have a dongle type thing in line with them so I can control the volume, advance songs, that kind of thing. Is there something for the Motorola phone like that? I have been looking all over. I use my phone while running and want to skip songs sometimes. I tried a few Bluetooth headsets and they allow this function, but none are comfortable or sound all that great.

using Photon 4G with Airtel prepaid sim with system version 45.3.6.MB855.Sprint.en, Whenever I run short codes (USSD codes) like *123# to check my prepaid GSM balance or interact with service provider by *121# it takes long time showing USSD code running.. and after few mins either shows MMI successfully complete or MMI failed but doesnt actually show the text which is shown in my other GSM phones; to query balance or activate some service. Tried forums but no concrete solution.

Mine seems to hang at night (seemingly about 20min after I plug it in for charging) and stays on yesterdays date and time until somehow it corrects itself the next day. There is no way to "activate it" or make it correct itself. All other clocks and calendars are correct.

The phone reboots itself sometimes when I try to make or receive a phone call (2 or 3 times a day). I know this is happening to other Photon owners and I already tried the factory reset twice. My build # is 4.5.1A-1_SUN-198_6. Does anyone know a fix for that?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a major issue with my corporate exchange calendar. If I accept an invitation to a meeting, the phone makes me the organizer of the meeting. This syncs back to my corporate calendar. This is obviously completely wrong. If I delete the meeting on my phone, or on my computer, it sends out a message to everyone that was on the meeting saying that it was cancelled. If I need to adjust the meeting only on my calendar, it sends out an update to everyone. It has caused a lot of confusion for me and my work colleagues.
View 3 Replies View RelatedHas anyone seen / experienced this? When I have my photon in the car dock and using the GPS, I am unable to receive incoming calls. My girlfriend has called me for the past three days and she says my phone rings and rings and goes to voicemail. I have Sprint Service. I am not using TeleNav or any other navagation, I am just using the GPS mode and Bluetooth is also running. I dont have any other issues with not receiving incoming calls unless its in the dock.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have noticed in the last couple of days the homescreen seems to stutter when moving from screen to screen. I have very few icons 2-3 on 3 screens and only one widget. It is the wallpaper that seems to jump or stutter during the transistion. I have done factory reset, wiped cache, safe mode, etc. It still does it. Doesn't happen in Launcher Pro or ADW EX. Any ideas on this or what actual app controls the scrolling?

I did a full factory reset about a month ago. the last couple of days the phone has been freezing with the alarm. the alarm will go off and I might get one or two snoozes out of it then the display freezes and is unresponsive. O can push the power button to get the power off menu but the screen will not respond to allow a power off, I must remove the battery to reset the phone.and as anyone who has a Photon knows how much fun putting the back on is. Any ideas.again this is a pretty fresh reboot and I do not have near as many apps running as before the reboot

View 6 Replies View RelatedAnyone used or using Drive First?I installed it, was using it, but just too much for me, I already use a car dock, motospeak and bluetooth.(Yes, trying to be safe).It just does not intrgrate well with Google Voice.Anyway, it seemed to install an app when I signed up for it, the app is called Smart Device Manager.After cancelling Drive First it continues to lock my screen when the car moves.I figured out which app is is, but the only available option is "uninstall updates" and it keeps wanting to re-update the app after I uninstalled updates. I have uninstalled updates and reinstalled a few times, but it seems that app is dug in there, and won't leave.Because Sprint customer service has NO CLUE (after 4 reps) how the app works, or how to get rid of it?
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy Motorola Atrix 4G unlocked was purchased recently online from ebay USA. Its still in warranty. The phone is with me in India.
The phone woked fine for a month. But now I can not hear through the Phone's earpiece. This problem developed suddenly one day without any warning. I did not drop the phone or bang it against anything. I can hear through phone speaker, bluetooth headset or regular wired headphones but not through the earpiece.
I then upgraded the phone software thinking it might be a software issue. But it didnt work.
I use BeyondPod with headset controls enabled and they work when the screen is on. When it turns off and the Razr lockscreen has been activated for a few minutes, headset controls no longer work. I'm not sure if this is a problem in Android or Motorola, but I didn't have this problem with BeyondPod on my Droid.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI got my Razr Maxx replaced under Asurion warranty, got sent a "Certified Like New" from Verizon, and I can't hear people through the earpiece. It's way quieter than my other phone, even at the loudest volume, and then it crackles at that volume. Can I fix this myself or do I need to take it to Verizon and demand that they give me a good phone without having to pay their crap replacement fee?

The phone sees the device, asks for the 0000 but gives a pairing error as the wrong code.Plantronics tells me they only hardcode 0000 (zeros) into the headset and the phone says it is the wrong code.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a Droid 3 and the bluetooth headset I have does not autoconnect (paired but not connected). I have to do it manually. My Droid 1 would autoconnect just fine. I don't see any option to auto connect. I saw some mention somewhere that there might be a code issue and someone sent something to google. I did not know if there was a fix for this. This was going on before and after the update.
