On the top left next to the LTE and Wifi icons I have an icon for SIM2 with slash through it. I have searched through notifications and icons and do not see any setting to turn this icon of from displaying. How to remove this? Is this showing on everyone else's display because it is a dual SIM?

View 13 Replies View Relatedyou need to go to General/Network turn on "Cellular Data" which allows you to access the "Data Roaming" section To force the phone to "search" you can turn on Airplane mode and then turn it off - and that will force the search.

View 3 Replies View Relatedthis is my first time posting and first bb. ive had my curve 8530 from bell for about 3+ months now, and when i first got it i couldnt find the maps icon, but it said the program was loaded to the phone. a week ago i downloaded maps to my phone again using a usb to my comp. and it showed up and worked perfectly, i love the program and whant to keep using it so DONT tell me to download google maps. but yesterday i had to get a new battery for my phone and the icon dissapered so i tried downloading it again.... and again but nothing.. is there a step that i missed this time that i did last time?

I got a blackberry bold 9780 and there is an icon that is a letter with the blackberry symbol on it and a red one can't find out.
I've just upgraded my phone and the message icon is showing and when I go to messages the inbox has '(1)' next to it, but on opening inbox there are no unread messages. Where is this phantom message and how can I get at it / delete it?

I have no voicemail that I haven't listened to, no unread facebook messages or emails, no missed calls, nothing that I can see that would create the little envelope message icon and if I click on it it does not show that I have any messages - only my calender entries. This happened about a month ago and then happened again 2 days ago so I now have 2 messages showing but no messages which is so irritating. Not stopping my phone from working or anything horrid like that, just an irritation as I think I have a message when I don't actually have any unread messages. I have also tried to reboot a number of times but then 1st thing I see when it reboots is those 2 stupid messages that don't exist.

The ONLY way I've been able to find my text messages is to go to "search", type in "tex" (no more because it mis directs me) then the icon with all the messages is there. I tried the BB button and do NOT get an option to move the folder. The ONLY way I've been able to find it is to use the specific search method as stated above. I've been working on the problem for 2 hours now since a friend told me via Facebook that she had sent me a text.

When I try to access specific emails that I know are for the specific emaill adddress the icon opens but it just displays "*No Messages*" even though the little red astrix is on the icon indicating I have received a new email for that specific address.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI've had two Blackberry, but I'm new to the community. I traded my Pearl for the Curve 8330 a couple of days ago. The new message icon is constantly showing up. It started with three, then four, and now six. I have read several forums and have tried pulling my battery several times. I have even deleted my e-mail account and set it up again. I have gone into all my folders to see if there is a message hiding somewhere. I can't find anything. Has anyone else had this problem? Aside from doing a factory restore and/or calling Verizon does anyone have any suggestions on how I can reset the counter? By the way, my carrier is Verizon!

Blackberry Calendar Application
Blackberry Messages Application
Blackberry Contacts Application
Facebook Notifications
And I have turned off the Email Notifications.I have pulled the battery, rebooted, deleted the application, reinstalled the application....nothing keeps me from being notified about notifications.
The facebook icon is not appearing on the home screen. I have deleted the facebook app, downloaded it again, removed the battery, resent service books, re-registered my Blackberry. Nothing works.
