I have an LG G4. The voicemail message icon is showing in the upper left hand corner stating I have 2 outstanding messages even though all messages have been reviewed and deleted. I've trieeld everything I can think of including completely shutting down and rebooting the phone....

View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm using a Torch 9800 and I have a message icon in the little notification bar in between the profile selector and the search but I have no messages. I have no voicemail that I haven't listened to, no unread facebook messages or emails, no missed calls, nothing that I can see that would create the little envelope message icon and if I click on it it does not show that I have any messages - only my calender entries. This happened about a month ago and then happened again 2 days ago so I now have 2 messages showing but no messages which is so irritating. Not stopping my phone from working or anything horrid like that, just an irritation as I think I have a message when I don't actually have any unread messages. I have also tried to reboot a number of times but then 1st thing I see when it reboots is those 2 stupid messages that don't exist.
View 3 Replies View RelatedSo all of my emails used to show up both in the address specific icon as well as the general message icon. Now they are only showing up in the general message icon.
When I try to access specific emails that I know are for the specific emaill adddress the icon opens but it just displays "*No Messages*" even though the little red astrix is on the icon indicating I have received a new email for that specific address.
my wife has got a nokia 6700 slide she set it up and then in the top right hand corner it shows a envelope which keeps flashing as to indicate a new message but there isnt any message there and we have tried factory reset and normal settings to get rid of it but it wont disappear.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've had two Blackberry, but I'm new to the community. I traded my Pearl for the Curve 8330 a couple of days ago. The new message icon is constantly showing up. It started with three, then four, and now six. I have read several forums and have tried pulling my battery several times. I have even deleted my e-mail account and set it up again. I have gone into all my folders to see if there is a message hiding somewhere. I can't find anything. Has anyone else had this problem? Aside from doing a factory restore and/or calling Verizon does anyone have any suggestions on how I can reset the counter? By the way, my carrier is Verizon!

View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter only a couple of days with my torch and not having modified it all, all of a sudden when I click on the TEXT message icon, it just shows my regular inbox. It used to show only SMS messages and was really cool. Now it shows emails and all! I dont see anywhere to change this back to the original behavior. I did a hard reset with no luck. So far I love my phone even with the minor annoyances like it hangs for a few seconds after unlocking it everytime, fine I can live with that. But I really want to fix this text message thing
View 4 Replies View RelatedI just got the s2, and i have 4 email accounts (2 work, 1 hotmail, 1 gmail). I have them configured and working, but they are all under the standard mail app (white envelop with blue @). When I get a new message, this icon will show how many unread messages there are. But, it shows for all of my accounts. I'm trying to have separate apps/icons for each email address that'll show some type of "unread messages" notification on the icon itself. Came from a blackberry and i had 4 individual accounts setup, each would have a red star if there was an unread msg in that account. I tried the hotmail and the gmail apps but they don't seem to show anything like this either.

I have the BB 8530. When I get a voicemail, a simple, white icon (a single line with a small circle at each end) appears in the top left of my screen, where the email & text notification icons also appear. In the past, once I check my voicemails, the icon goes away. But this time it has not. I have checked my voicemail several times and even erased all of my saved voice mails, but the icon will not go away! How can I get rid of it?

My visual voicemail is not showing any messages, however, when people call my phone it says my mailbox is full. Even after several resets etc. we were able to leave a message but never got a notification of a voicemail. When I manually dialed into my voicemail, the new message was there.

wondering if someone can help. here is a quick breakdown of events. received my new iphone 4 yesterday. went to store to have number ported. since i live in vegas and i have an ohio number, they had to switch the temporary las vegas number to a temporary ohio number and then had my number ported.
everything works fine except i am unable to use the visual voicemail. it says voicemail unavailable, unable to connect, when i try to log on.
Also, when i make facetime calls, my number shows up on the other persons caller id as the las vegas temporary number and not my actual number.
tried calling carrier last night, they were unable to help, so i have no idea what to do?
My wife is on a school trip to the US. Meanwhile, I am at home in Canada. I am texting her, but I found it odd she never replies and vice versa. So, she discovered that her iPhone (latest iOS 5 release) keeps trying to send the message as an iMessage. It is not reverting to SMS after a given time, as it should and as I have seen it do before. I have tried it now also and my wife only receives my messages when she has a wifi connection (she does not have data roaming enabled). It seems like my iPhone too continously tries to send the message as an iMessage and it does not switch to SMS after a certain timeout time. The message that the iPhone continously tries to send as an iMessage never fails, however the status does not change until the next time my wife is in wifi coverage and the message is delivered.

When I had my S4, if I received a voicemail, there was an icon that popped up that said I have a voicemail and if I clicked on it, would automatically dial my Verizon voicemail number.
Now with my S6, every time I receive a voicemail there is an icon that shows up, but if I click on it, it launches Visual voicemail instead. It asks me to accept or decline as this is a paid function. When I decline, it doesn't seem to make a difference. Each time I receive a voicemail I get the same thing.
I'm trying to get my phone to go to Verizon voicemail and not Visual voicemail when I receive a voicemail.
I have tried everything: I've listened to all messages & deleted them & the icon is stil there after 2 days.

I solved. I deleted data at phone setting.
At 3:06AM every morning I receive a voicemail notification. However,my phone never rings, and there isn't a record of any calls. I have a Sprint Samsung S6, 5.1.1. I use the regular voicemail app and not the visual. The icon will not clear. The only way I can clear it is by going into the Applications Manager and clearing the data from the Phone application running, but it always comes back at the same time. How do I fix this???????
