Today I turned on my Storm 2 and saw what I assume is a BB Message icon under the date on home screen; it's solid blue, and on left shows "1". Opening message folders shows nothing. Scanning all folders, having turned off hide, still nothing i.e. no red asterisk. Image of screen can be seen here. [URL]
View 1 RepliesI have a solid red circle on the phone icon at the bottom of my home screen.I Get a notification message come up on my home screen telling me that i have a new voicemail message. When i dial into voicemail it tells me there are no messages.I Have rang my network provider(3) they did a restore on my phone using itunes on my computer(remotely)but the circle is still there.I took it to my local Apple store(Milton Keynes) when he took the sim card out with the phone still switched on it dissapeared.But when he reinserted the sim it came back.

i recently accidentally deleted the message icon from the home screen of my phone. it is not just hiddin and i cannot find it in show all. i also looked in applications in the options and couldnt find it.

It looks like a small blue peach bubble on the top of the screen just under the date and a number next to it, i get that it’s not the new message icon, it seems to be a counter of some kind I think, I cleared all the messages i can find but it’s still there! Any help would be appreciated!

View 6 Replies View Relatedmy phone died this afternoon while I was in the car.... about an hour and a half later, I went to plug it in at home, and the blue LED light came on. I figured maybe my phone was just REALLY dead so I left it. 30 mins later, blue light is still on, but phone won't power up.I unplugged the charger from the wall and did a battery pull. As soon as I put the battery back in my BB, the blue light comes on again. It stays solid and doesn't flash. I still can't turn the phone on.....

When I tap on it, my desktop messages open instead?it used to work fine when I first got the phone. The only way I can write a text is to select a contact from the contacts list and then select to send that person a text message. This all works but is a pain. I'm sure this is just finger trouble and a setting has been changed somewhere but where.

It also remains on the Message folder.I was told to remove the battery when the phone is "On" and re-insert it. The icon does disappear only to return when new messages arrive. Initially there was also a red asterisk on the gmail icon, but there are no emails saved, no messages unread or saved anywhere. I took it to the local Verizon store, they looked at it for an hour and got nowhere. I had already removed the battery are reinstalled it, but the thing is still there.

I have no emails or messages at all on my phone anymore, and I cleared the messages from the advanced tab thingy on the desktop manager. I've done a battery pull, turned it off and waited a few minutes before turning it back on, and nothing has worked. I even tried sending a text message to my phone from my husband's, and it showed up as 2 messages on the icon, but when I deleted that new text msg, it went back down to 1 read message and is still there.

Just discovered my home screen is blank, so I thought I had accidentally changed/moved it when I turned on "Easy Mode" to check that out. Switched back to "Standard Mode", but found my home screen gone, with a blank page in it's place. I found some directions on how to move pages around, making one a home screen. I selected the page I wanted as home screen and moved it to the page where the white house icon is highlighted. I was done but noticed nothing had changed. Home page still blank, so I did it again. I find that whenever I try creating my home screen page by moving it to the highlighted white house icon, the white house icon shifts to the left, remaining blank.
