I looked around on my phone to see if something was wrong or there was an update or something and there was no indication why it was on. Then after that it stopped. Apr 29, 2012I want to dwnld unsynced images B4 restoring the phone. Phone is frozen so can't download straight into iPhoto or ImageCapture.
I trawled the net and followed suggestions such as trying to back it up via Ctrl-click in Devices on iTunes but only says 'open in new window' and 'Eject iPhone' - no backup option. Have also looked for the 'Mobilesync' bkup folder in Library too but not there. either.

Mar 22, 2012So the other day, I had plugged my roughly 2 year old iPhone 3GS into my macbook pro to charge, when it suddenly had a strange crash and said it needed to be restored. It took several hours to finally restore after many -1 errors. Now however, it cannot start syncing so I cant go back to the way my iphone was before the restore. Also, I can't use wifi or iMessage - it says that my username or password must have changed when it hasn't at all, and the wifi option is just gray, I cant even open it in settings. Nothing seems to be working, except basic texting and calling.
