Tried to do an update on my Iphone 4. Now the only thing showing on my screen is a picture of the power cord and the I-tunes logo. I can't power it off or on. I have tried holding down both buttons but nothing happens.

I have tried to install the new upgrade however the computer advised that the iphone must be restored to factory settings prior to the upgrade. This is impossible as the phone is frozen

I just turned on iPhone 3GS and saw notice to update it which I did. After updating the screen shows a iTunes icon and unplugged USB cable. Not sure what is going on and wonder what to do next. I've tried to restart by holding down sleep button and home key in various ways I remember as helping to start up an iPhone when it is stuck, but so far no luck. I tried to upload an image of the screen that I took with PhotoBooth and saved to iPhoto, but it will not upload for reasons beyone me.

I brought my wife an IPhone 4S yesterday and checked with the sales guy in 02 that I can run two accounts off the same laptop as I have an IPhone as well, which he said would be fine.
However the new IPhone required an updated version, which I downloaded and then the new IPhone locked up with the ITunes Logo and the USB Cable showing. Have tried restoring but it keeps saying it needs to download the newest version iOS 5.1.1 which takes over an hour to download, but I already have the newest version dowloaded.

My iPhone 5 is suddenly stuck in recovery mode. It won't turn on, the connect to iTunes logo just shows up. I really don't want to restore it because I have 300+ pictures from vacation that have not yet been synced to my photo stream. I guess my question is is there anyway that I can kick my phone out of recovery mode long enough to get those photos in my stream without restoring it? I know there are programs on the Internet that claim to do this but I doubt they work.

Then i came back up to check instagram again and it wouldnt turn on. This had happened before but it came back on after like 1 hour but i really need my phone. View 2 Replies View RelatedAs luck would have it the power cord on my TN765T has now failed - discovered just a couple hours before leaving on a 3 day trip. It has developed a bad connection in the male plug end to the cradle and I get intermittent power depending on how I bend the stress relief portion. All fixable, but I will have to destroy the integrity of the original plug - for all the good that did me. This cord has not been abused (or used that much) so I am surprised and disappointed it "broke".

I have an iPhone 4, I believe that I have disconnected my iPhone from iTunes while it was updating (accidentally, of course) and it now says it's still connected to iTunes despite no longer being physically attached by the cord and will not load any other screen. I have tried force reboot and it restarts, yet still says it's connected to iTunes. The computer gave an alert, informing me that there had been a malfunction and that the device was now unreadable. I've had a look for a solution and can't find a resolution to this particular predicament. I am not adverse to restoring it to factory settings, although there are some pictures that I would like to take off it before doing so.
