View 2 RepliesAs luck would have it the power cord on my TN765T has now failed - discovered just a couple hours before leaving on a 3 day trip. It has developed a bad connection in the male plug end to the cradle and I get intermittent power depending on how I bend the stress relief portion. All fixable, but I will have to destroy the integrity of the original plug - for all the good that did me. This cord has not been abused (or used that much) so I am surprised and disappointed it "broke".
View 3 Replies View RelatedI caught the cord of my Xoom while moving it and the charging cord was yanked out. Now it doesn't charge at all. The cord itself looks fine so I assume there is a problem with the little pin or the jack in the tablet.
What is the little module with the connectors in it called? I keep asearching things like "charger" and "jack" but always get results for the cord part, but the part on the tablet itself.
My 3 week old Atrix 2 will nolonger charge from the AC adapter that was included with the phone. It will only charge when connected to a computers USB port.
I've tried:
an old Iphone AC adapter car charger different USB cable removing SD card removing and reinstalling battery factory reset
Will I be able to use an Ethernet adapter with the Xoom? I thought with the new revision the Xoom had this ability but I tried one we have in the office and I can't seem to get it to work.
View 15 Replies View RelatedI have an iphone 4 with major problems. I cracked the screen and thought it needed a replacement. I took it to a shop, and after they replaced it, since the phone had ios 7, I could easily see that the color scheme changed. Everything seemed too bright, and when I power the phone on or off, the black background is full of light. I tried lowering down the brightness all the way down, but the white colors on the screen were neon like. I also noticed that its much better to see outside, rather than inside, compared to my phone, and other phones.
Also, when using front face camera, the screen has too much reflection, and I can bearly see my self however, it works fine in the back camera. The phone screen looks darker from an angle, and lighter at another angle, which annoys me, because I have to use it at a certain angle when using it. I was wondering, is this normal because the screen is new? Is my screen no longer retina?
For example: The screen looked like this before the replacement. The iTunes icon had a light shade of purple on iTunes. After replacement, screen looked similar to this, but iTunes, messages, and phone icon all look too bright.Â
I was a day 1 Android phone user and found features that were lacking. I did wait and now the Android is a real workhorse. For the tablet, I should have know as well. My question is not so much the hardware. I can wait for SD card & 4G LTE. My main issue is that that major content providers are ignoring Honeycomb and the Xoom. I regularly watch news sites. When I saw the majors launching the iPad app, I though the Xoom was right behind it. Nothing on the horizon. How can we get the developers to port to Xoom? I can get my eMail on the Android. I don't want video feeds on the Android, rather the Xoom.

Since every other phone/MP3-player/device that can be charged via USB works with these, I have to assume that this is something with my phone...
My HTC Touch recently perished and i'm working on selling some of the left over adapters I have (power, data, car). Are these adapters compatible with the HTC P4000? From what I've seen, it's implied that theyr'e the same, but I have no idea.

I can charge my C5-03 via USB form my PC desktop using the provided Nokia CA-101D data cable.I wasn't able, though, to charge my C5-03 using this Nokia CA-101D data cable plugged directly to a wall USB power adapter or to a car USB power adapter. I was able to get power using the same cable configuration to a wide list of devices that do support power via USB.

View 12 Replies View Relatedon mine XOOM /WI-FI tab, it seems that i need to first push the on button then let go an push an hold again for a sec then it will power on? Is this the normal way to turn on from a total power off state? As in sleep mode only need to be pushed 1x and screen comes awake. There actualy is nothing of any extent on the power button in the emanual that I could see for normal power up.Also as iv seen some comments elsewhere on the Sound Output quality, well on a set of earbuds its good quality sound, on the built in speakers ..well for a device of this small size one should expect decent sound but cant expect very much as to high end sound really it is only tiny sound. But ..the HDMI out sound is very poor quality , on a TV in or AVAmp in the same..very flat, dulll, boxee sound-tested using same music vidaudio file as from laptop, or other small device. and resulting sound is ..well crap... just only real neg comment otherwise.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI find it unacceptable of the undersized 2 mm power port Moto engineered into to Xoom. According to Wikipedia, 2 mm x 0.5 mm size is to be used up to 3.15 v only, pretty sad the Moto refused to comply with EIAJ or DIN standards.http://en.m.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?itle=Coaxial_power_connector&mobileaction=view_normal_site The only reason they did what they did is for selfish reasons, so they are the only ones to sell the overpriced non-standard accessories. According to Wiki, we should be using OD 5.5 mm and ID 3.3 mm plug. Moto should be required to fix any broken port any time. I will not buy their chargers, because of $ and no 90° plugs. It's only 12 v for god sakes, straight from the car port. By the way the nearest standard size plug is 2.35 mm x 0.7 mm, not Moto made plug!

As of right now I can see all of the prepopulated itunes playlists in MotoCast (ie 90s music, recently added) but none of the playlists I have created myself nor does it display the full population of music I currently have in itunes (306 in MotoCast versus 910 in itunes). When I go to sync it says the sync was successful but that 0 files were transferred. Is there a setting that needs to be changed or a different want to get this to sync. Since the M does not have an HDMI port nor support MHL, I was just pondering another alternative. My televisions are not DLNA compatible and I really don't care about HD quality, so I was wondering if the 3.5 port was an option for basic video out. I know some devices used to have a compatible adapter for this process, but thought maybe it was terminated because of new technology. In most phones the 3.5 seems to only be an audio port, but just figured I'd ask.
