on Samsung Galaxy S5 it was always showing when i plug in my charger it used to show that blue screen where you can see how much time left before you plug your charger out and also shows three steps like Speed, and Trickle etc...
View 1 RepliesI jsut got a new battery because my last one did this. and i went to bed i left it pluged into the wall charging and i turned it off. the leds were blinkin yellow dunno if thats normal nvr doen this before. and when i woke up i cant get the phone on and all i can get is battery blue charging symbol. Ive tried taknig it out and waiting 30 seconds while its pluged in and hasnt done anything. any suggestions?

When I plugged in the battery charger the battery charging icon appears for about 1 minute and then the screen goes completely dead when the charger is plugged in! Every phone I've had since the mid 90s constantly shows a battery symbol charging throughout the charging process.Is there something wrong with my phone or charger or does the Galaxy S2 not show anything on the screen when charging up?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have had my X6 16GB for just over a year on a contract with O2, now I've not really had any problems with it, few bugs etc but nothing major. Recently out of the blue however it's decided it doesn't want to charge, the phone will show the charging indicator when the charger is plugged in however it will not charge the battery, then the battery will completely drain and I can no longer power the phone on.
The phone has a 2 year warranty and has just under a year left so it was sent back to O2 who have just said it is "Beyond economical repair" and sent me a broken phone back which is no use to me at all. I've had Nokia's for as long as I can remember but I'm not really quite sure what I'm to do with this one as at the moment it's a useless paper weight.
My battery died then I charged it and still the phone is radio off and the battery is full, and just shows the home page and I cant go to the menu or do anything? Cannot even connect to the PC.

You know the white battery icon that shows when the phone is turned off but is charging? I don't see the 'blue' battery percentage text on that anymore. I flashed the factory images afterwards to see if that fixes it, but it didn't. Not a big deal but is definitely and odd quirk.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI can't believe that RIM designed such a stupid charging pod for the Torch! I had the pod for my 9700 and that was slick with those little metal contacts on the bottom. Very easy to just drop phone into pod. But with the new Torch, the pod is a physical connection into the micro USB port on the side of the phone!! What were they thinking??!! Isn't the idea of a pod supposed to be for the ultimate in charging ease and to prevent unnecessary wear on the USB connection?

Then when I finally got it to charge (left it overnight) it had only charged to 50% and would stop immediately after reaching 50%. Now the "USB connector connected" notification randomly shows up, even when the phone is not connected to anything. Several seconds later it says it's disconnected. Is the phone damaged, or is it my charger? Just bought another battery on amazon and an external charger in case it's the phone. I read somewhere to hard reset it but I have too much stuff to back-up. If nothing else works, I'll have to do it, but I'm saving that as a last resort.

The new phone worked fine for most of the day but last night showed a message saying I needed to plug the phone into itunes again and restore it. I have now tried to restore the phone on two separate computers and both times error message number 1 has shown up with a note saying that apple can not process my request. I am wondering what the number means so that I can fix it and restore my phone. As it is now its useless. Its just a black screen with a charger picture and an arrow telling me to connect it to itunes.

For the second time, my galaxy s6 screen seem to be frozen. When it happens, I see a blue bar moving up and down on the screen. I can reset the phone by holding power and volume down button but it doesn't fix it, the phone is still frozen after the reboot.
I can't power down the phone completely since the screen doesn't allow me to hit the Power Off option! All button seem to be working fine.

As the title says, my blue led notification light blinks continuously when the screen is off. No apps are up and running and there are no missesd texts/calls/etc. Couldn't find an answer through any google searches.

I plugged it to the charger, no led for charging shows, putting it ontop of the wireless charger, the charger change its color to blue, but the phone still on black screen and the blue led blinking...
I tried the hard reset :
* vol down + power(to simulate the battery removal)
* vol down+ vol up + power
*vol down/up +home +power
....all possible combinations, but no hope. What can I do?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI got a replacement galaxy s5 on Jan 28 and I've noticed the screen has a yellow and blue tint during white backgrounds. If i look straight at the screen, the white has some yellow tint over the mid to top portion of the screen. However, if I move the phone up, the yellow moves down the screen and a blue tint appears on the top to mid part of the screen. The tint isn't heavy as I can see still get good colors out of things.
Is this normal for the s5 screen? My old phone had a yellow tint to the white as well, but I don't know if the tint changed from yellow to blue when I moved the phone up and down.

I found tools to get me to the screens to make the changes, but they do not stick. I am not ready to root my phone. 3G or 2G for vocie is plenty clear enough for me.
I know there are other ways to save battery power, but would like to step down a G or two.
